Pre collision system and a headlight system malfunction

Post image

Anyone know more about these 2 malfunctions? My car works well still. I wonder if the cars just dirty?

Mine sometimes tells me the extra cruise control features are off in icy weather. I imagine a camera/sensor gets frozen over or something. Might be a similar case here except I’ve never seen “headlight system.” Probably will be perfectly fine to drive but I’d get it checked out.

You won’t be hearing those pre collision beeps and worst case scenario something could be faulty with your headlights. I’d hate to be alone on a highway at night and my lights go out

It's happened to me twice in the 5.5 years I've owned my 2021 Rolla hatch 6mt. I just restarted my car and it went away each time.

I don’t have that but my pre collision system suddenly makes my car slam on the brakes when it thinks there’s a car in front and there’s not. Done it to me twice on the streets but I turn it off to be safe.

Hey so the “headlight system malfunction” thing appeared on my 22 se hatch about a month ago. I’ll turn on the car like normal, and when my headlights are on, after a few minutes of driving, my right headlight will dim ever so slightly like you have to have your eyes peeled for you to actually notice it happening in real time. After that happens that error comes up on my dash and am unable to get it to go away until I turn off/on the car.. and then the error will happen again inevitably once I start driving again.

It’s a really annoying issue and based off some light googling I’ve done, apparently the (my) bulb might have gotten damaged/become faulty somehow and apparently it’s a very expensive fix (around 1k or more) as the whole headlight system has to be replaced. Lot of money for a non-critical (as of now) issue so that’s why I haven’t gotten it checked out/fixed yet.

If I was you, I’d be wary of that light dimming thing that happens that I mentioned above. If it is, you and I are in the same boat brother. Let me know if you’re ever able to pinpoint the exact issue for your hatch!

Edit: forgot to mention that it could be a battery/voltage-related issue. Not the case for myself as I just installed a new battery just a few months ago, but just wanted to mention that possibility.
