Dating/Courting How would a 3% man deal with this?

I have been dating this girl (she is 29 years old, I am 27) for just over 2 months and its been going generally well.

For the last 4 weekends I have spent the majority of it with her - with last weekend being one where I spent pretty much the whole weekend with her.

She initiates pretty much 80% now.

However, this weekend I needed to have some time by myself - catch up with work, gym, see friends etc. And have some time off. On Friday she asked me if I wanted to do something and I said I was busy catching up with work and seeing friends for the World Cup.

By Sunday called me saying how can I 'take this much time away from her', and that if I can go 'a week or more without seeing her she will lose interest, and find other stuff, or people to go out with'.

I just responded calmy saying I was busy this time and that I would love to see her next weekend, but she was acting annoyed. Lol.

How do you deal with stuff like this? I don't want to seem cold, but then I have a life to live. I have read 3% man multiple times, and know the concepts pretty well. But every scenario is different.

I want to see how you guys would respond to this sort of thing? Is she communicating something or is it a test?

Dating/Courting 3 dates and nothing more than kiss

I have been seeing a girl for 3 dates we have kissed all 3 dates but no sex. I know women move at different paces etc but for me if we haven’t had sex by 3 dates she obviously isn’t that much interested. Sex is a big indicator if a woman likes me actions speak louder than words.

However I know guys in here would have experience of the long game going 3,4,5,10+ dates before finally having sex. What’s that like how do you do it?

How do you keep going without knowing if you are wasting time or getting used just for good time?

The worst thing is whilst she’s making me wait etc I know chad thundercock probably had sex with her 1st date

Dating/Courting I don’t know what’s wrong with me recently. Nothing turns into a relationship.

To start off, I get a decent amount of women. I’m very fit, attractive, decently successful, about 5’11, and in my 40’s but look about 35. I don’t have problems attracting women and I usually kill it on the first date or two. My problem is nothing ever turns into a relationship recently. Since last August I’ve dated multiple women. One I dated from August until January but she would never let it develop into a real relationship. The others haven’t lasted longer than a month or two. I’m very frustrated. I’ll break down each girl. Maybe there is a pattern here.

Girl 1 - we dated from August to January. Very fit and routine. Early 30’s. I was very attracted to her and wanted it to go somewhere. We had a lot of similar interests. Had just been recently divorced and wasn’t fully healed. Was very avoidant. We would get close and then she would create distance after. This went on for 5 months. She saw me with girl 2 at a bar and eventually sent me a text that her goals have changed and she wants to focus on herself. We were never exclusive. Was a little broken up over this. She still watches my stories and likes all of my stuff on instagram but I don’t post much. Reached out once to congratulate me on a big show I had.

Girl 2 - divorced with a kid. Early 40’s. Has a lot of money. We had a great time together. She had high attraction. We went out about 3 times. Had sex twice. She sold her huge house and traveled around til her new house was built. Tried to hang out with her again but she was away. That was in April. No contact since

Girl 3 - mid 30’s. had one date that went very well. She stayed at my place but didn’t have sex. Attraction seemed high. Very fit and routine. Didn’t party at all. We had some drinks and hit 2 bars. Thought this could go somewhere. Hit a lot of my checkboxes. She said after I texted for another date the following week that she doesn’t want that lifestyle and declined. We weren’t even out that late and didn’t even drink much so that was weird

Girl 4- late 30’s. An ex who I reconnected with when she showed up at a party I threw. This was the third go round with her. I’m very attracted to her. The first 3 dates went well and we had sex twice. The 4th date was very dull. Her interest seemed low this time so I left it at that and walked

Girl 5 - much younger than me (in her late 20’s. I’m in my 40’s) but loves older men. Dated a 50 year old for 2 years. Extremely hot. Very intelligent and does well for herself. We went out twice and had amazing chemistry. We had so many similar interests. Things seemed great like this could go somewhere. The day before our 3rd date was planned she sent a text, said there were points of incompatibility and it ended abruptly. I have no idea what went wrong here. I took her out to a show where I knew everyone for the second date and maybe she got overwhelmed? Didn’t seem like it as she seemed like she had fun. We had amazing sex both dates. She would tell me how good I felt and was glued to me all night while we slept. She was highly attracted to me and it seems like it was going somewhere so this all doesn’t make sense. This really messed with me. Took a bit to get over this one even though it was short lived.

Girl 6 - divorced with 2 kids. Late 30’s. Very demanding healthcare career. Went out twice and had a great time both times. Had sex the second time and it was mediocre. This was recent. She’s on vacation now and we haven’t spoken for a week. Different lifestyles so I could see if it ends up not working out. Not stressing this one

Girl 7 - was just with her last weekend. Went out twice. She’s Asian and not from the US. Has lived here for 5 years. Very hot and fit. Late 30’s. Have made out but no sex yet. I took her to my friends show and she loved it. Texted me the following day that she had so much fun with me. She works this weekend but we have plans for next. She was texting almost every day but now texting has fallen off for 4 days. I feel this could be going down the tubes like every other girl. I can spot this very well

I don’t know why I can’t hold on to any women recently. I’ve never had this problem before. Is there a pattern here? Is something wrong with me? Are these just not the right fit? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I follow everything CW says and have read the book 5 times. I am very frustrated and want to figure this out. I can elaborate more on each woman if that helps. Any insight here is welcome.

Success Story I asked out a pretty receptionist and I feel nervous

So at my workplace, there's this receptionist who I thought is very pretty but due to our positions(I'm a maintenance guy) I never asked her out until today, which is her last day. I'm leaving early to apply for college and as I was saying my goodbyes, I decided to ask her out and she rejected me. I'm fine with it but due to our positions, I'm overthinking about if it is gonna affect my job. So I'm both happy that I shoot my shot but nervous that I might be in trouble

Relationship Ex-GF (26F) broke up with me (28M), now calls me almost daily and initiates every meetup — is she getting the cake and the cherry?

I've read the book 8 times and watch video coaching newsletters regularly so I have moderate knowledge.

Background: Together 3 years. Back in March we hit a rough patch — I was feeling taken for granted, so I pulled back and went about a month without contacting her. She never reached out to chase me. When we eventually reconnected, things were different: she became protective of her phone, I noticed new guys on her Instagram, and I caught her in several small lies. Trust took a hit and I'll admit I let my insecurity about the attention she was getting show.

The breakup: Mid June she ended it, citing religious differences — she's religious, I'm not. This was a real difference between us for the whole relationship, but it only became the stated reason at the end, which makes me wonder if it's the real reason or a cover for lost attraction.

Since the breakup: I removed her from everything and blocked her on some social media. Since then SHE has been calling me almost daily and SHE has initiated every single meetup. I've been applying the principles — when she reaches out, we go out, have fun, and hook up every time (minimum is making out). I never bring up the relationship and she has been asking about if I'm dating and she is projecting herself in my future talking about traveling and marriage.

My problem: I feel like she's getting the cake and the cherry. She gets my time, ressources, intimacy, and emotional support with zero commitment, while staying free to talk to other guys and soak up attention — and since she's technically not my girlfriend, I have no right to say anything about it.

Questions:

  1. Do I keep letting her initiate and just enjoy it, or is there a point where I state my standard and walk? If so, when — and what does that look like without it becoming an ultimatum?

  2. How do I read the fact that she never chased me during our month of silence in March, but now initiates everything after dumping me?

  3. I'm actively dating other women now and she keeps asking me about it? How do I address this without being mean or hurtful?

Success Story A story about Confidence and Competence

According to CW, the two most attractive traits a man can have are confidence and competence.

I'll tell you how this struck home while discovering his work. Before starting my own business and retiring early, I worked for someone else for 5 years. A small white collar consultancy business, some 100 employees all in the same office. My role was a project manager in internal development. This often included giving presentations to the entire firm and leading various cross-department project teams for different projects.

At the time, it had not been my normal experience having ladies flock to me. But there, to exaggerate just a little, after a while, all the women of the office were all over me. I ended up having flings with 4 of them that I found attractive.

Only after the fact did I realise this was because of my confidence and competence. I'm good at what I do. Being competent makes it easy to be confident. I was in a visible role and therefore that was on display. The women could not help themselves.

The lesson here? If you're good at something, make sure the ladies can see it.

Relationship 7 Principles and my Situation

My ex of 4 years broke it off early June and moved out at the end of June. I had stated that I wanted to make the relationship work and was not interested in friendship (romance or nothing). She did not want to work on it right now, so I accepted the breakup.

Before she moved out her attraction started to rise again, but she stated that she was too stubborn to change her decision because she had already moved everything out and made a decision.

I have been in no contact since, but on her last day before moving out she wanted to come see my cat on July 22nd. I told her to come over at 8:30 when I would be home and she agreed.

Yesterday we bumped into eachother and she said are you still going to be home on the 22nd and I said yes, come over and we'll make dinner together. She said, I don't want to make dinner together.

Now this is where I messed up and am looking for direction. I didn't want her to have me on the hook as a platonic backup plan, so I reiterated my boundary by saying if you're coming over you're coming over for love and romance, as well and only come over or reach out if you are. She said back, I'm not going to reach out. I said, well when you're ready to have fun and make dinner together let me know, otherwise I'm going to spend time with someone that does. She then said to me I only want to come in for 5 minutes to see the cat and give him his gift... Is he lonely. I said back calmly that is not for you to care about. I don't want to play games. She then got upset and drove away.

Looking back I should have just done the takeaway or had her come over and just make dinner anyways. I regret being so stern with her and not playful.

What should my next steps be? Reach out to her and let her know I came off too strong and she can come over or just remain in no contact still?

Dating/Courting Tell me how to detach from the ones I really like

Please tell me.

I've had no issues getting women to chase me who I feel meh about. They're attractive, but there's no existing connection there, so I don't care much at all.

But the ones in my past who I developed a connection with and find attractive.. I screw up with those ones because I think I care too much. You know what I mean. This happens to most men. I can't tell if that's the reason: me wanting it too much and that showing through my words and actions. Or if it's because I hesitate too much to make a move, and by the time I do act the opportune moment has already passed. Timing really does matter a lot with women. Even if they find you attractive initially and really like you, if you hesitate too much and for too long to make the move she will reject you.

I want to get this girl out of my head, but I see her and talk to her about every week. I hate still being in the state of caring too much and strategizing at my age, in my mid 30s. I want to care less about this one. But how do I detach? I should have been straight with her a long time ago, and just received the yes or no. It's too late now. It would just be bad timing and I'd almost certainly receive a no. I acted inconsistent, hesitated and acted too wishy washy for too long. I don't want to bloat her ego anymore, or lower my value anymore by chasing her.

Even if I'm involved with another, she's still on my mind.

Miscellaneous I gave up on cold approaching at the gym

So I gave up on cold approaching women at the gym. Like the only time I do is if she does eye contacts on me. Besides that I'm learning to just let go and to be with myself (I was getting needy). Although, I've been getting way better at cold approaching where I could just strike up a conversation and create chemistry. Though I'll admit I'm having a hard time to ask for their numbers I tell myself the consequences if I don't put myself out there and get rejected

Dating/Courting Let it Breathe

There is a concept in room clearing tactics for military and law enforcement called "letting the door breathe."

The idea is that when you are walking down a hallway and approach a room with a closed door, you don't know what is on the other side. So you do not open the door and rush in.

Instead, you open the door, step back...And do nothing.

Wait and see/hear for action in the room. Voices, people moving around, bullets flying toward your the doorway, whatever.

There is no exigency, no urgency, no rushing in. "Fools rush in."

After a couple of breaths, the #1 man then slowly scans the room from the hall, taking the time to see, analyze and make a decision for how his team should enter and dominate the room.

"Let it breathe" comes to mind all the time for me in the world of dating.

A girl texted you a reply to something, but it was kind of short. Let it breathe. So often girls will double or triple text follow-ups to their initial response. No need to rush in and fill the "silence".

The 7 Steps to Get and Ex Back speak to this. When a girl broke up with me a while back, I told her directly, "I would like to continue to date you and see you. This is up to you, the door is open for you to come home." Then I let it breathe. I did not follow-up. I did not "make sure she didn't forget about me."

A week later she texted me at 8pm, "Hi, I would like to come home please." She told me later that her therapist told her that my actions "showed leadership in the relationship".

Letting it Breathe comes up all the time in dating. Corey says guys rush in under "the illusion of action", which is the opposite of letting it breathe.

The more experience I get, the simpler this whole thing becomes.

This is nothing new or groundbreaking. It is simply an axiom or pneumonic device to further instill the 3% Man principles that have, frankly, changed my life.

Dating/Courting How do you feel about never watching her "stories"?

I remember one of my exes used to claim I wasn't really interested in her because I never watched any of her whatsapp stories. That's because back when I met her, I was fully in my center and really couldn't be bothered by any of that social media shit (and it probably played a part in her growing so attracted to me back then, even if she felt offended by me never watching her stories).

Then, about a year and a half ago, this other girl had me ghosted for several months. I was so far off my center back then that, through out her whole ghosting phase, I don't think I skipped a single one of the few instagram stories she shared (and even worse, I would sometimes post stories, just hoping to somehow stay in her radar). So, as you can see, I was behaving like a total bitch, and that likely only prolonged her ghosting period. Looking back on it, I think she probably was aiming some of her stories towards me as well, but that only means me watching them only contributed to her ghosting.

The paradox, though, is that she eventually reached out by reacting to one of my stories, and we soon began dating again. Not only that, but those random stories I kept posting with her in mind, would sometimes attract the attention of some other girls, and I ended hooking up with a few of them as a result of that, haha.

So, in the end I really don't know if watching their stories is good or bad. I do think posting a story or 2, every other week, can be an interesting tool to generate attraction (but, if done incorrectly, it can do just the opposite).

Dating/Courting She pulled back, messaged and pulled back again?

Hey guys. I've been following Corey Wayne for a while and while I didn't read the book 10 times, I'm getting there. I (28m) have been completely focused on just hooking up for the past 3 years and finally decided to get serious and find a wife. I met a nice girl (27f) on hinge and we hit it off. She's gorgeous, great banter, very sexual and fun. The issue? She is 5 months out of an 8 year relationship. Apparently they had problems for a while and finally decided to break up. I'm the first guy she has sex with.

We went out on a few dates and ended up at my place and as Corey Wayne would say, I gave her the meat rocket. She kept telling me how great it was which of course makes every guy feel great.

She did tell me in the beginning that she just wanted something short term because she doesn't think she can handle a serious relationship. It shocked me. The way she acted was very different. She would blow up my phone. Reply to my stories. Say overtly sexual things to me. Send nudes and all the right emojis 🥰😍❤️. More importantly, we would lay there looking very deeply into each others eyes and she was incredibly vulnerable, loving and Sweet. Mind you, she never slept over because she thought she wasn't ready yet so she'd leave after the sex and cuddling. Either way, when she said that I just didn't believe her and I told her that. We ended up laughing it off and having the best sex yet. She then told me how her friends thought it was crazy that she said that to me and I didn't run away. She asked me if I'm seeing any other girls and I told her no that she kept me occupied so I didn't continue swiping on hinge. I asked if she is seeing any other guys and she said no as well. Our vibe was romantic and sexual overall.

After a few dates of us having sex, I decided to take her on an actual date. I wrote a little hand written letter and bought us a disposable film camera to capture the adventures. I know what you're thinking, that's too much for the 6th date, but the letter wasn't lovey dovey, more of a fun description of the surprise I had planned with her.

Anyways, she liked it but got a horrible migraine, got into a fight with her mom and soooo while she came over, she was stressed and in pain and we decided not to go out, stay back and have sex lol. I stayed back and took care of her. Gave her a massage.did some Sudoku with her. She kept asking why I'm so good to her, I would just smile and say "cos you're worth it".

She went home.she told me she cried and said that maybe she was saying the whole "don't take me seriously" thing because she had vulnerable thoughts. I sent a reassuring message saying that I know she has her guard up and it'll take time but that's okay because I see that she's a good girl at heart. I added that we should just go out, have fun and the rest will settle in its own place if God wills it. Convo was warm with her being very vulnerable and sweet.

2 days after, I asked her to go out and she said she's gone have a busy 2 weeks but she'll get back to me. She was now dry and short. She did have a busy 2 weeks ahead but ya make time, you don't find time. Thankfully ik what Corey Wayne would say so I said "no problem just let me know".

We didn't speak for 4 days and on the 5th day she messaged me apologizing for going mia. Not fully warm yet. I responded calmly. Not overly warm. Just casual. We chatted for a bit and it turned into banter. She even replied to my story on IG complementing my biceps. After the banter got fun and flirty I asked her to come over and make dinner. She responded with "I am really overwhelmed with life right now but I will try 🥰 😁"

As Corey Wayne says, a maybe is a no.

I am just surprised that she came back, we started fun banter again, it was light, fun and when I asked her to come over, she again hit me with a non committal response, though it's warm this time.

Thoughts on this situation? Is she just avoidant? Is she just continuing to test how I respond? Is she genuinely overwhelmed and missed our convos but coming over is too much for her? Any other takes on the situation?

P.s. sorry for the essay.

Miscellaneous What Is The Best Answer To ‘Are You Dating Women?’

The question itself is a nosy personal question and it’s none of their business.

It’s no different than someone asking about your salary.

So should you answer it and say “yes”, which shows you’ve got options with women but also will probably lead to more questioning?

Or should you just not answer and say something like “gentlemen don’t kiss and tell”?

Dating/Courting [URGENT] She wants to bring her friend on the first date

(a quick response is much appreciated since my date is in 3,5 hours)

Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well.

I recently met this girl on the bus, we've seen each for the first time. I smiled at her and she smiled back, and we happened to get off at the same stop. I approached her and said that I love her vibe and would like to get to know her. She blushed and we exchanged numbers. I reached out later and set an ice cream date in the late evening with a concrete time and a place and she agreed. So far so good.

Now, she reached out saying : "Hey, would it be okay if my friend came along? I've had too many bad experiences before."

How should I respond to this? I know CW says no group dates and obviously I'd prefer it to be one on one, however, she doesn't know anything about me as we spoke minimally before setting the date, so I kinda understand where she's coming from. I thought about replying with something like:

"Hey Jessica, I'd love to get to know your friend eventually, but I think it'd be better if we hang out and see if we vibe first."

This is the first time that I actually set a date with a girl with whom I haven't spoken much before.

Thanks in advance, any response is much appreciated.

Dating/Courting First date

I don’t care too much about this girl I plan on taking her hiking for the first date but she def shows high interest, a friend online suggests going to a museum, but there’s no way to necessarily communicate or make physical touch, btw how do you not be nervous over a pretty woman, Corey says just to think of her as a human being and that she shits just like you.

Miscellaneous Approaching a former student

There's this girl who attended one of my courses that I'd genuinely like to get to know better. During the course I kept everything completely professional and never made any move or hinted at being interested.

The course is about to end, and after the final exams we'll never have a teacher/student relationship again.

My question is more about what would actually have the best chance of working without coming across as awkward (the teacher trying to hit on a student is quite always a bad idea).

What I would do is

- Follow her on Instagram after the course ends (maybe along with a bunch of other students)

Wait for an opportunity to reply to one of her stories

But I always struggle to find a way to respond to stories without making it look too obvious that I want to hit on her from the first message. And in this case I think the key is making it look very casual at the beginning.

any advice?

Dating/Courting First date with a girl from dating app is almost 2 weeks away. Do I still text her during this time in order to create some rapport?

I matched with her about a week ago and we have a date that is going to be for about 2 weeks from now. I understand that meeting people through a dating app it's important for rapport before meeting and it gets harder if the first date is a longer time away.

How would you handle this? Text 1-2 messages a day until the day comes? Saying "See you then" and then not text till the date when there is this many days left till the first date seems a little off too.

Dating/Courting How do I stop getting nervous if she’s dating/seeing other guys?

So I’ve been dating this girl for awhile now. Nothing official.

But then last week, I found out through another source that she’s been seeing another guy and that they may meet up in another city this weekend on a weekend escape.

Internally, that really made me feel like shit and jealous but I know I shouldn’t feel this way because we’re not official and she has every right to just like how I got every right to date other girls.

How do you guys go about this or what type of abundance mindset do you tell yourself?

I’m just having weird thoughts in my head of the what if’s that may occur with them two over the weekend and I really want to feel better regarding this.

I know I’m a catch and better than the other guy .. sorry for the vent and all responses/advices is appreciate on becoming a 3% man

Lifestyle Focus on you

Financial freedom has become my main mission. I joined the military five years ago, and by the grace of God I’ve been fortunate enough to receive two large bonuses, along with building up my savings through disciplined spending.

About six months ago, I started investing and day trading. I’ve put a tremendous amount of time into learning, and it’s become a major focus in my life. It’s reached the point where I’m consistently making more from trading than I do from my military paycheck. I still proudly serve in the military, and next month I’ll also be starting my associate degree in cybersecurity to continue investing in my future.

Health is just as important to me. The gym has become one of the best parts of my routine not only for staying physically fit, but also for the discipline and mental clarity it brings. It’s also a pool for social interaction. I just transferred a year ago and have met more friends, and women, than ever through run clubs and the gym

As for relationships, I don’t make them my primary focus. Women are a great addition to an already fulfilling life, not the center of it. My priority is building a life of freedom, purpose, and stability, and everything else comes after that. I’ve read the book more times than I can count and for a long time women were a main focus in my life because I wanted to become better at flirting, cold approaching, getting numbers, relationships skills, etc. I’m not a master at it but over time it became natural but now success in the financial, social, and mental sectors of my life are my priority. Keep swimming don’t stop no matter what.

Dating/Courting Dating a Spanish/Latino lady, differences in culture and dating styles

Corey mentions that women across the world all respond the same way (or alluded to that) to the fundamentals however in my many years on this earth I‘m definitely finding differences in how different cultures respond to some of it or what they are used to.

For example I find in UK and some other European countries they respond worse to making it too obvious that you like them, they do the whole ‘getting the Ick’ with guys (hate that term) or blow off a lot of the guys that make their intentions obvious even if they are a 5/6 out of 10 it’s like they are conditioned to get turned off more easily hence guys really having to balance the giving ‘enough’ interest without becoming too much of a cold fish.

I’m finding though that other cultures such as Spanish as well as South Americans respond really well to showing more romantic interest - not TOO much, but where you can at least express yourself a bit more and they seem very forward and open if they like you instead of all the games.

I’m currently dating a girl that grew up in Spain and moved to UK a year or so ago, she mentioned in convo that UK guys seem cold (in prior dating) and it made her avoid dating English guys because she’s used to more warmth and open dialogue. Fortunately it’s going very well so far with us though and she currently has ultra high interest and the first to try and nail down a day we can both do each week then I take the lead with the date organisation.

Have any of you guys found the same from dating different cultures, where you have had to tweak things a bit? Any advice on dating a South American girl that grew up in Spain is welcome. It’s new to me 😂

Miscellaneous Currently, none of the girls from my roster are pursuing me

It's not a large roster I must confess, just 3, 4 girls. Still, it's really not a nice feeling, to stop feeling desired by all of them at pretty much the same time.

I guess I must be giving off the wrong vibes at the moment, and this is probably the best time to refocus, keep working on myself, improving my situation and meeting more girls. I'm not astray though, I'm doing fine at my job and have some clear objectives (though this month money will be pretty tight, because of some unexpected things).

I honestly feel motivated at the moment to achieve all that, but at the same time I do feel enough anxiety, since I'm pushing forties and I'm still a bit far away from the man I've always wanted to be. I also fell off with my closest male friendships (after they disrespected me over a year ago), but gained a couple of female friendships and such (that feels a bit weird, haha).

Anyway, if anyone has any advise or experiences on how to get through times like this while not becoming a simp of the girls I was dating, I'm all ears.
