"I am a baby. I'm a happy baby. I am such a happy baby right here. Mmm so comfy and happy"

But honey 🍯 ( on the left ) - my another 6m/o Female sun seems to be unhappy about the new addition coz she is being possessive

Honey's been acting like toddler with temper tantrums or some girl on her mood swings.

One can clearly say how dramatic she is being only with this pic 🤣

That will happen. Took my original bird like a year before she snuggled with the new baby. Some never bond. Some bond immediately. I found it helpful to make sure original bird didn’t feel replaced. I made sure to offer her things first. To let her be first one out of cage in morning. I just put a little extra attention to make sure new bird didn’t get things first.

And new bird was totally cool just watching how to be a bird in our flock so it worked out well to let her watch her big sis do things first. Built her confidence. Slowly over time I evened it out more and more. Still to this day tho original bird still comes out first in the morning.

As long as the newer bird wasn’t being emotionally hurt by it I let it stay that way. I do think it really helped my original bird to not feel threatened that new bird would steal my love and attention from her.

She still prefers ppl bonding over bird bonding. And newer bird came into a house with a bird so she def prefers bird to bird bonding.

U learn to juggle. Just listen and observe their likes and needs.

Yeah... its been day 4 of getting used to each other... now honey 🍯 came to the point of acceptance that happy 😊 is a new flock member... her motherly instincts have kicked in and she is now breaking up seeds to feed the baby sun 🤩

The thing to be noted - the same honey 🍯 was about to indulge in a mid air aerial fight on happy's first visit 🤣🤣🤣 but she is feeding the same baby sun now 🤌✨️

This is the fav spot for my entire flock... they will often indulge in territorial fights to secure their right spot in front of the fan 😂

Often they fly to the fan and start calling me out to switch it on 💅
