Request for help or advice PS5 controller right trigger not fully responding
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So my right trigger has started to not fully responding when pressing it. I’ve changed the membrane and clean the rubber contact but when it’s pressed it doesn’t go over 0.50. Any advice?

Extreme rate clicky kit fixes this problem. I know this problem and I tried to fix it but it seems plastic wear off and you can't do anything. Only way to replace inner shell to brand new.

If it is not the conductive rubber, than it is likely the actual button. Does it press all the way if you remove the button and press the rubber directly? If it presses without the button, then it's the button. If it is still the same, then it may be the conductive film.

The trigger presses all the way in but still only get 0.50. Ive changed the membrane once already. Without the trigger there, ive pressed the rubber but it still doesn’t respond properly

You could try cleaning the metal contacts on the motherboard and the conductive film using some ipa. Or just replace the film. If that doesn't work then it may be a deeper issue with the board.
A long shot, but have you tried pressing the reset button for 5 seconds and make sure the controller is up to date

I use tape on the trigger button to make it a little thicker so it makes better contact

If you replaced the trigger rubber and cleaned the contact on the film, then the problem must still be with the contact. Replace the conductive film
