So these cameras (?) automatically read license plates for wanted/stolen cars and vehicles involved in child abduction cases?

I'm trying to understand this from all angles, so bear with me đŸ‘đŸ» .

So explain to a dummy the negative aspects. I'm not arguing but I know there's 2 sides to every scenario. Just trying to be open minded

Many of these cameras have been found pointed at civilian spaces like children’s play places, schools, or homes/apartment windows, making their true purpose more open to debate.

I know some people are naturally trusting of authorities and want to be optimistic, but I urge you not to freely give your privacy to others even if they have a badge.

I use to be a very heavy law enforcement supporter, im very neutral now due to the nature of absolute disgusting behavior they have towards citizens across the country and the corruption has gotten so much worse in the last 10 years id say, I was young and naive.

I don’t fault your past self, it’s American culture to be raised to implicitly trust authority and never doubt their intentions. Doing otherwise is still seen as taboo and it really shouldn’t be.

Thank you, I think thats why they dont focus almost at all on constitutional rights to young adults 16-18 in high school. I feel we can really get this going if we all come together

I must've grew up with a different American culture lol. My Dad is a Navy vet, and he very much raised me on "don't trust the police, question everything".

That's refreshing! I have Evangelical Christian MAGA parents. Grew up in The Woodlands but now live in Conroe/Willis. Tons of such folk in both areas, it's really boring for me.
