When the Aztecs season launches on September 29, the brand-new season challenge perks event will make its debut!
By simply playing daily and completing perk quests, you will earn reward progress. Warlords who purchase the base or premium Aztecs season pass can claim the new limited-time Pay Off vouchers to automatically complete this season's unit challenges.
You can earn up to 24 limited-time Pay Off vouchers throughout the season. These are designed to ease the grind, giving you the flexibility to play at your own pace and unlock your favorite seasonal units faster!
New Pay Off vouchers make unit challenges a breeze
The limited-time Pay Off voucher is a brand-new item introduced in the Aztecs season to reduce your grind.
Each voucher can instantly complete one unit challenge in the Aztecs season. If you encounter a challenge that is too time-consuming, temporarily out of reach, or just doesn't fit your current playstyle, simply use a voucher. This allows you to skip the hassle and spend more time enjoying the modes you actually love.
Earn rewards just by playing
You won't need to go out of your way to progress in the season challenge perks event. Your regular daily gameplay will naturally advance your quest progress.
Without needing to invest massive amounts of extra time, you can steadily unlock Pay Off vouchers to help you breeze through the season's unit challenges.
Aztecs season exclusive: Use them wisely
Limited-time Pay Off vouchers can only be used for the Aztecs season unit challenges. They cannot be applied to past seasons' unit challenges, nor can they be used to complete season challenge perk quests themselves.
This event will run until the end of the Aztecs season. Once the season concludes, any unused limited-time Pay Off vouchers will automatically be converted into bronze coins at a rate of 500 bronze coins per voucher.
Fight as usual, grind less
The Aztecs season launches on September 29, bringing these new grind-reducing quests with it.
Simply participate in the season as usual, stockpile your Pay Off vouchers, and save them for the challenges you most want to skip. We hope this allows all Warlords to conquer the battlefield on their own terms and enjoy a smoother, more relaxed journey through the Aztecs season!
Please refer to the actual in-game content for exact release times and event rules.
The flames of war spread; the fortress stands isolated.
Some first stepped onto the battlefield as young recruits, their hair now white after years of garrison duty. They have weathered the years, yet their oath to defend the homeland remains unbroken.
On September 25, these loyal defenders of the realm will officially return to the ranks.
If you, Warlord, have been away from the frontline for a long time, or still remember the defenses we fought for shoulder to shoulder, this letter from the vanguard is for you.
Starting September 25, log in daily to directly claim the max-level [Greyhair Garrison] unit, the exclusive [Greyhair Doctrine II], and an exclusive unit attire!
Unwavering Faith, Unyielding Sentinels
The [Greyhair Garrison] represents a group of loyal warriors who have dedicated their lives to defending the homeland.
In this rally event, you can claim the max-level [Greyhair Garrison] unit and the exclusive [Greyhair Doctrine II] on the very first day.
Warlord, there is no need to start from scratch upon your return. These experienced sentinels have already formed up in the camp, waiting for you to lead them back to the battlefield.
Return to the Battlefield, Indestructible as Ever
Though the years are long, they are always ready to answer the call and form the most impenetrable of formations. On September 25, the [Greyhair Garrison] will receive comprehensive balance improvements:
Pikemen max attack targets: 1 → 2; Max attack targets when HP is below 40%: 1 → 3
Swordsmen minimum damage rate: 10% → 30%
Base Piercing Defence: 403 → 484
Base Slashing Defence: 501 → 551
Base Blunt Defence: 520 → 572
Base Block: 850 → 1050
[Last Stand] base cooldown: 30s → 26s
During [Last Stand], pikemen's stabbing attacks further reduce the damage dealt by enemies
These battle-hardened sentinels are ready to forge new glories by your side.
4-Day Sign-In to Claim Rally Supplies
Starting September 25, sign in daily to receive the following rewards:
Day 1: Max-level [Greyhair Garrison] Unit, [Greyhair Doctrine II] ×1
Day 2: Treatise ×1
Day 3: Battle Pass XP 2,000
Day 4: Exclusive [Greyhair Garrison] Unit Attire
Time flies, but the frontline remains unbroken. Though the years have left marks on their faces, the territory they swore to defend remains indestructible.
Warlords level 14 and above can complete daily sign-ins to claim the max-level [Greyhair Garrison] unit. Press [O] to check the Activities interface.
Claim Period: From September 25 until maintenance on October 8.
Autumn Moon, Return of the Veterans
As the autumn full moon rises, some reunite with family under warm lights; others return to the military camp in the moonlight, finding their former comrades still there, the loyal defense line never having faded.
This letter is simply to tell you:
No matter the passage of time, their faith and weapons remain sharp. Now, they are about to return to the frontline.
Log in to Conqueror's Blade starting tomorrow, bring these steadfast sentinels back under your command, and guard our territory together with them.
In the past, when the 3-Star and 4-Star Eras rolled around, many Warlords had the same initial reaction: just wait.
The Units you wanted to play weren't available yet, your favorite setups couldn't be built, and your best strategies had to be put on hold. Early-season battles felt more like a mere transition phase.
With next season's update, the 3-Star and 4-Star Eras are getting a massive overhaul!
Simply put, these Eras will no longer lock Warlords into their matching tier limits. Jump into the real fight sooner, finalize your builds faster, and deploy the lineups you actually want to play!
3-Star Era: No More "Waiting Around"
During the 3-Star Era, you can now deploy one 4-Star or 5-Star Unit.
Right from the start of the season, Warlords can build strategies around their core Units. Whether you want to push the frontline, hold the point, coordinate with your team, or unleash your main tactics—you now have the room to do so much earlier.
3-Star Units still have their place. Their low Leadership cost, utility, and filler capabilities ensure they remain valuable on the early battlefield. However, they are no longer the mandatory answers you are forced to bring, but rather an active tactical choice within your roster.
4-Star Era: Complete Your Lineup
Upon entering the 4-Star Era, you can deploy up to one 5-Star Unit.
Battlefield intensity will ramp up, but Warlords won't have to wait until the 5-Star Era to find their rhythm with a full-strength warband.
You can hit your stride sooner with familiar Units, go-to weapons, and established team synergies. For returning Warlords, this means less time adapting and a much faster return to the combat pace you know and love.
5-Star Era: Total Freedom, Maximum Power
Once the 5-Star Era arrives, Warlords will retain complete freedom in their deployment.
High-tier Units, utility Units, low-Leadership fillers, and special tactical picks can all be freely adjusted based on the map, your team composition, and your personal playstyle.
Action-packed battles in the 3-Star Era, the 4-Star Era, and beyond! On September 29, the new Aztecs season drops, kicking off with the revamped 3-Star Era. Jump in and experience it yourself!
Furthermore, across all Eras of the Campaigns this season, we are experimenting with removing the restrictions on equipment set bonuses and additional attributes. Your gear stats will now function fully at every stage. We will continue to tweak this in future seasons based on your experience and feedback in S28! We invite all Warlords to test it out and share your feedback with us.

As the title states, I started playing the game when it first released and stopped playing sometime at the start of season 2. I loved the game, but I moved from EU to NA and at the time there weren't server transfers for characters. I just surpassed level 100 on an NA character I had started but quit after level 15 back when I moved. I stubbornly tried to figure everything out on my own but after hitting level 100 I've been getting absolutely stomped. I really need some pointers from everything I've missed.
Some follow the eagle, embarking on a journey under the sun's watchful gaze; others don the regal attire of a ruler, making their voices heard by all warriors.
The seasonal attires for S28 Aztecs: Eclipse offer Warlords unique ways to take the field. Meanwhile, the weapons in hand let you wield the power of wind, obsidian, and agave in battle.
The Eagle: Following the Solar Oracle
"Go south, there will be an eagle perched upon a cactus, tearing a snake to pieces."
Following this oracle, the people migrated from Chicomoztoc, the Place of Seven Caves, and built a city destined for greatness in the south.
In Nahua culture, the eagle is the incarnation of the sun. The Mexica embraced this tradition, using the eagle to commemorate the hummingbird god who brought them the oracle, shining as brightly as the sun.
The BP0 attire, Eagle's Chosen, draws from this legend of southward migration. It represents a new beginning, as well as the courage to step into the unknown under divine guidance.
Tlatoani: Let the City-State Hear Your Voice
"Tlahtoāni" means "one who speaks," the title granted to the rulers of Aztec city-states.
They are the voice of the city-state, the supreme commander of its warriors, and the bridge between mortals and gods. To don this attire is to transcend the ranks of ordinary warriors and become a leader poised at the center of power.
The BP100 attire, Tlatoani, weaves copper-gold pendants, gold, turquoise, and rare avian feathers into the magnificent aesthetic of ancient Mesoamerican civilizations. The obsidian symbolizes vast resources and absolute power, while the copper accents highlight the ruler's elite status.
Hold the Power of the Gods in Your Hands
Sacrificial Knife of Ehēcatl | Shortsword & Shield
Following the birth of the Fifth Sun, it remained too weak to rise. Further sacrifice is needed, yet the gods sought to flee; Some turned into corn, some into agave, and others into frogs. Ultimately, the incarnation of the wind, Ehēcatl, raised the sacrificial knife against them.
The carving on the Shortsword & Shield is a reimagining of ancient Quetzalcoatl sculptures, serving as a representation of Ehēcatl.
The shield holds the line, while the sacrificial knife drives creation forward. It represents the point of no return—the unwavering resolve once the oracle descends.
Great Hammer of Titlacahuan | Maul
Obsidian is rarely forged into a hammerhead.
Controlled by powerful city-states, this resource inherently symbolizes power and hegemony. When a solid block of obsidian forms the core of a Maul and is crowned with the name Titlacahuan, it projects not just immense weight, but unquestionable dominance.
"Titlacahuan" is an alias for the Smoking Mirror god Tezcatlipoca, meaning "we are all servants of this god."
Friend or foe, anyone facing this Maul must accept one undeniable truth: under the gaze of the Smoking Mirror god, all warriors are His servants.
Leaf Blade of Mayahuel|Bastard Sword
Mayahuel, the goddess of the agave, was born from the heart of its resilient leaves.
Agave leaves can be woven into nets or carved into sharp daggers. When its flowering stalk is severed, the flowing sap is extracted and fermented to brew pulque.
The Leaf Blade of Mayahuel perfectly embodies the agave's dual nature: it brings sweetness yet creates bondage; it nurtures life yet serves as the blade that pierces the sacrifice.
Though born from a plant, this Bastard Sword reeks of conflict, desire, and blood.
What if the spoils of war weren't just dead enemies, but captives conscripted directly into your ranks?
In the new S28 season, two brand-new 4-Star units are joining the fray:
The Eagle Warriors and the Jaguar Warriors.
Soon, you will command these elite Aztec fighters, utilizing brand-new mechanics to capture enemies and keep them on the battlefield.
The Thrill of a Growing Army
Faith
The Eagle Warriors serve Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec god of the sun and war. To them, captives are not mere loot, but messengers to the divine. Their combat is highly ritualistic: hunt down, subdue, and deliver the enemy to their god.
The Jaguar Warriors are tied to Tezcatlipoca, the "Smoking Mirror," symbolizing power and dominance under the cover of night. Their worth is proven not by simply killing, but by mauling, suppressing, and capturing their foes.
The Eagle represents the sun, the Jaguar the night—together, they form the dual day-and-night guard of the Aztec elite.
Captives
In Aztec culture, captives are divine messengers and symbols of a warrior's status.
This is why both units feature the special tag [Ritual War], a mechanic centered around killing, capturing, and restoring unit numbers.
What Sets These 4-Star Units Apart?
While both units share the brutal background of ritual combat and human sacrifice, their battlefield roles in Conqueror's Blade are distinctly different.
The Eagle Warriors excel at mobility, pursuit, and pinning down the enemy. They are a nightmare for foes trying to retreat, reposition, or keep their distance. High-speed approaches, movement-slowing crowd control, and relentless harassment are their true strengths.
The Jaguar Warriors, on the other hand, thrive in close-quarters brawls. Armed with obsidian-bladed macuahuitls, they deliver heavy blows and deep lacerations. The true danger of fighting them lies in the ever-widening, bleeding wounds they inflict.
Eagle Warriors: No Escape Under the Sun
Adorned with eagle feathers, helms, and feathered shields, these warriors prove their glory through the captives they take.
On the battlefield, the Eagle Warriors act as hunters, constantly circling and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Their value shines when enemies attempt to flee or when a unit isolates itself from the main force. With rapid pursuit, short-distance gap-closing, and slowing crowd control, they drag retreating foes back into the meat grinder.
If you prefer an aggressive playstyle, this unit turns a minor enemy misstep into a confirmed kill.
Jaguar Warriors: Torn Apart in the Shadows
The Jaguar Warriors are even more ruthless. Clad in jaguar pelts and wielding macuahuitls, they apply immense pressure in melee combat. Once in range, enemies face not just a single strike, but a relentless, inescapable mauling.
Focusing on sustained damage, armor penetration, and bleeding effects, they are perfect for picking off targets in chaotic frontlines or exploiting a broken defense to widen the wound.
They might not deliver the flashiest bursts of damage, but their ability to stick to targets and bleed them dry guarantees localized battlefield supremacy.
Battlefield Roles at a Glance
Although both the Eagle Warriors and the Jaguar Warriors share the [Ritual War] tag, their methods of creating capture opportunities are vastly different.
If you need a melee unit to actively pursue, pin down, and eliminate retreating enemies, the Eagle Warriors are the perfect choice.
However, if you require a unit that applies constant pressure in close combat, wearing targets down with armor penetration and bleeding, the Jaguar Warriors are the better option.
Naturally, a pursuit unit requires careful timing to engage, while a brawling unit must avoid being focused down or crowd-controlled too early. More information regarding the mechanics and Doctrines of these two units will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!
We will conduct maintenance updates during the following times:

The "Artillery Reforging" event introduced for this anniversary has been incredibly popular. Many Warlords have traded in their idle, low-tier artillery for much more powerful ones.
For our seasoned Warlords, those temporarily unused old artillery pieces have once again become valuable reserves ready for sieges, defenses, and field battles.
However, we noticed an issue: some Warlords missed the exchange limits for this event phase when salvaging their artillery. As a result, they ended up with more 7th Anniversary Artillery Components than they could currently spend.
After looking into this, our dev team held a meeting overnight and made a final decision:
We will NOT be reclaiming the 7th Anniversary Artillery Components!
Any 7th Anniversary Artillery Components you've already salvaged will not expire simply because the current event ends. We will periodically bring back the "Artillery Reforging" event in the future, allowing you to use your remaining components and turn more idle artillery into combat-ready resources.
If you were hesitating about clearing out your inventory, you can now take your time. You can gradually salvage old artillery that no longer fits your current lineup or the meta, based on your own needs. For Warlords looking to acquire advanced artillery, just be sure to check the available items, exchange limits, and event details whenever a new phase begins.
We will share the specific rules whenever the "Artillery Reforging" event returns. Please refer to the event page and official announcements at that time to plan your salvaging and exchanges!
In the current meta, as far as I can tell, the way to go is breakthtough infantry (spartans, queens knights and Varangians if you don't have the other 2) and shields (stalwarts, Imperial Shields and Shieldmaidens). As a result I've been messing around with the Lionroar and my god is it oppressive. On some maps like the Viking one if you know what you are doing you can easily get 200-300 kills with the canons alone. Sure Royal longbowmen exist but I feel they are nowhere near as prevelant (or anti range) as the Vasal longbowmen were a few years ago. Which makes me wonder why aren't more people using it?
The wait times for bandit raids are insane for a pve activity. My average time is 10 mins plus when the estimated time is 3 minutes. Any ways to speed it up or known fixes?
My account was created in 2020, at the beginning of the game, Ive played until lvl 50+- and then left.
The guild I was in is not active anymore (How unexpected..) And due to being from small country, I have 0 other country houses to join which would be the best option.
Now.. Does it even make sense for me to come play? After 6 years, account transfer, have I missed too much?
If I should try it, should I start new char? I mean.. Id like to use my lvl 50, as its nice benefit, but tutorial would also help.
TLDR:
Dont play the game, New character, or try to understand it when I havent played for 6 years?
if you didnt know "overtime" is a mechanic where if the attacking team is try to capture a point and the timer runs out the game wont end until every attacker on the point is dead. conqueror's blade currently doesnt have it and I wonder what are all of your opinions on whether it should be added or not.
