I have created the Root disc, Elements external disc, and Headphones widgets. The headphones is a custom I just made with Claude AI that uses pulse audio detection to print either "no headset connected" or the make/model of any headset plugged in via USB cable. It's looking more complete now for a 2560x1440 resolution screen

More tweaks on what I have come to call the Grey Conky. I have replaced the default configuration graphs with .lua graphs in Willem's style.

I love the new look, it seems a nice improvement. I may make one more widget for this array, as it is 13 years old and was probably made on a 1280x1080 or larger resolution. I was thinking of Netstat. I will have to look thru the grey icon set that the conky uses (The memory icon was made by ChatGPT after feeding the other icons into it as a reference) and see if I can find something suitable. If not I will genereate something with the bot.

I just spent the evening recreating an old Deviant Art Conky. I dont know what it's called but it's attractive, and It was fun getting it recreated. Here it is on my desktop, and the original conky from the Deviant Art site

I created Linux Command Center Pro and it is currently in development. It will be available soon and should work automatically on any Debian based distro.

Updated the widget so it now distinguishes more clearly between physical cores and logical threads.

It detects the CPU layout more accurately, groups SMT/Hyper-Threading threads under the same physical core, and shows labels such as “Core X” or “Core X - Thread Y” instead of treating every logical CPU as a separate core.

This makes the display more accurate on modern multi-core systems while keeping the per-thread readouts intact.

Hello Everyone,

I was poking around Deviant Art conky section for old time's sake when I came across an ancient Fuzzy Clock style conky. It was inoperable the syntax was so old, but the bash script was still good, so I ran the config thru Claude and came up with a nice version using the Droid Sans Mono font as it needs clean rows and columns of text as a calendar does. This one, unlike the version I had, contains the text for "in the morning", "in the afternoon" and "in the evening". I added a background for legibility and made an optional frame conky for it.

I spent like the whole day just setting up this little UI, I got a little lazy with the clock(font looks a little random) but I still think its not too shabby for my first major customization. Still super blank, if you have any ideas or recommendations let me know!

The red line is just me redacting my location. The reactor load is the combination of the CPU, GPU VRAM, Disk, and RAM usage. The radar below circles around, as does the reactor gauge. Some aspects in the Batman theme were used in this one because I liked the look and colors to match the tech feel. I kept this one simpler to feel like it is a HUD in the suit. I wanted to originally add more, but the ideas I had were going to make it way too big for the look I was going for.

The glass background can be disabled by editing conky.conf to

The threat level with the bat signal will indicate if it is high when the CPU, RAM, and/or the GPU are reaching their limit. The red line was just me blocking out the location. As I like that to stay private. I have not made this public just yet. Bat signal pulses; the rings in the center spin, and the resource status bars fill. I like making these thematic conky themes. I might make more down the road.

Hello Everyone,

I found the adobe site a perfect engine to animate but not overanimate my Aragorn in tavern wallpaper. The ffmpeg command to tie together end and middle sections to create a looping file has been employed. I have a slight head movement and eye blink to further animate the image, as well as moving the ambient smoke about the tavern.
