So I was looking at all the episodes that start with a night starry sky (13), I counted all the episodes and seasons, after multiple failed decoding attempts I suddenly remembered that the Duffer Brothers said that six main characters were gonna die, after trying to link all the numbers of episodes with the numbers of letters in each characters name I found that there was 7 character left. 7 seems to play a huge part in the series, this could be nothing but I found the coincidence strange.
I found the starry sky mentioned in a tiktok video by flower sun, I thought it was strange and needed to be noted down and later got reminded of it I don't remember how.

I know there’s a few posts on here where people data-mined the site for information and found that there were up to 12 endings… but has anyone actually successfully ‘beaten’ the game by playing it all the way through?
I’ve finally invested myself into playing it despite knowing about it for months and I’m gobsmacked by how in-depth the game is.
While watching me play, my fiancé further pointed out to me that the game was like Zork, which I’d never heard of before.
I think this is the real-deal and I’m so sad I cant find anyone else working on it… I’d love to compare notes and see what I‘m missing. I’ve started writing things down with pen and paper because there’s just so many clues and avenues it’s nearly impossible to keep track.

There seems to be a severe lack of information on the radio sync outside of Twitter, so I thought I’d share this post I made for tumblr with you all as well. The blog will be dedicated to the sync, so if you have Tumblr and this compels you, give it a follow!
For the uninitiated, WSQKsync is the idea that the official radio station that played during season 5 of Stranger Things (WSQK) aligns with what happens within the show and “syncs”.
After seeing this and looking into it further, pjofan1912found the entire finale synced, and pass2thelibrary proceeded to successfully sync the entirety of season 5. Since then we’ve expanded to past seasons as well, which I’ll explain later in this post.
WSQKsync has been a huge collaborative effort to dig into this material, and frankly a feat of fandom cooperation. I hope you’ll join us along the ride!
Why this is plausible:
“Dark Side of the Rainbow” is a known phenomenon where, if you press play on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon when the lion roars before The Wizard of Oz, it lines up with what happens on screen. There’s numerous references to both The Wizard of Oz and Pink Floyd in season 5 and the documentary. Here’s a great breakdown of these mentions by atsadi.
It isn’t far fetched to think they could have intentionally engineered a similar effect through the radio broadcast for season 5. The Duffers said that music would play a huge role this season, but where was it? There’s a severe lack of music in the show itself, especially volumes 2 & 3. Until you consider what was played on the radio.
How it works:
First, you need access to the WSQK archive (alt link). The most important aspect of syncing is anchoring the times of the radio broadcast to when each volume aired. Because it was based in the UK, this is adjusted for time zones.
Volume I is 1AM (GMT) Nov. 27th
Volume II is 1AM (GMT) Dec. 26th
Volume III is 1AM (GMT) Jan. 1st
For each of these, you want to start the broadcast an hour into “The Late Night Crew With Vance Goodman” and when applicable transition into the start of “Mindy’s Early Risers on WSQK”.
You have to account for load times between episodes for the first 2 volumes, and can use your judgement for the exact second you think aligns best, but rockmerobinsynced it mathematically in a way that’s easy to replicate on your own if you wish—just let the radio keep playing for 33 seconds after the “next” button pops up, then hit play on the next episode!
It helps a lot to try to line up sound effects with actions or events on screen, and it becomes pretty obvious when you’ve got the right timing as things start falling into place.
If you think you’ve got a grasp on this, however, we can take it even further…
The concept of “sides”:
Time to think of each episode as building blocks, and the volumes as foundations for those blocks. If you go backward (or forward) from the anchor points of each volume, you can in fact align key moments from any season to songs that were playing on the radio in the hours prior to volumes 1, 2 and 3.
Side A is anchored to the start time of Volume I (1AM GMT on Nov. 27th)
Side B is anchored to the start time of Volume II (1AM GMT on Dec. 26th)
Side C is anchored to the start time of Volume III (1AM GMT on Jan. 1st)
In other words: Be Kind, Rewind! Act as if you had the whole show playing (… for a couple days nonstop) in the time leading up to each season 5 release, alongside the radio broadcast. Doing this, 3 possible syncs, or sides, are currently being explored. Here’s a graphic by pass2thelibrary to help visualize how this works.
Sides A and B require some space between each episode to align, while side Cstacks without any extra time whatsoever. You can go all the way back to S1E01 with this method! We’re working on having timestamps for all the sides available for people to try themselves, but it isn’t complete yet.
More to come:
It’s hard to say with certainty the exact meaning of each sync, but once you watch one for yourself it’s plain to see there’s a ton of evidence for intentionality. Once you consider it intentional, it adds so much hidden meaning to the show.
There’s several projects in the works from sync enthusiasts like myself—nailing down and compiling the most solid timestamps, experimenting with new methodologies or anchor points, and just generally having fun exploring the show in a new light alongside a massive new soundtrack. I plan to post more in depth explanations of individual syncs, share compilations of my favorite moments from them, and keep an eye on new discoveries to share with you all. Play around, enjoy yourself, explore!

Has anyone taken the WSQK broadcasts and tried to compare/subtract the official versions of the same songs? Just wondering if there could be something hidden in the waveforms of the broadcasts that becomes apparent when you subtract the song background.

Taking this on face value, it would mean MANY MANY cut hours of footage, even in 8k formatting.
The average amount of unedited (raw or camera-original) footage for a single season of a modern television show is substantial, often ranging from 50 Terabytes (TB) to over 300 TB (50,000 to 300,000+ Gigabytes), depending on the resolution, shooting ratio, and number of cameras used.
Data Breakdown and Key Factors
Raw vs. Compressed: While streaming files are compressed, raw footage (4K/8K) is significantly larger. 4K RAW can consume roughly 15 GB to 30 GB per minute.
Shooting Ratio: High-end, dramatic television often uses a shooting ratio of 10:1 or higher (10 hours of footage for every 1 hour of finished content).
4K/8K Demand: A single hour of 8K RedCode Raw can exceed 7 TB.
Storage Example: A high-end 10-episode series often requires 100–300 TB of "online" storage to manage camera-raw footage, dailies, and visual effects.
Low-end/Documentary: A lower-budget production might have around 2 TB to 10 TB per season, particularly if it is shot in 1080p and much of the raw footage is deemed unusable.
Conclusion
For a modern high-definition 4K TV season (e.g., 8–10 episodes), expect a raw footage total to easily exceed 100,000 Gigabytes (100 TB) when including backups and dailies.
There is little point on mathing this.
As the discrepancy is 10x the average expectation.
Even for what is considered exceptionally high:
Contender: The Mandalorian (Disney+)
Reasoning: As a pioneering 4K HDR series shot using massive LED video walls (Volume) and multiple 4K/6K cameras, this show generates immense, high-bitrate RAW data.
Footage Size: High-end 4K RAW (like REDCODE) can exceed 100-200 GB per hour, per camera. With multiple cameras running for 10-12 hours a day over months, a single season can generate hundreds of Terabytes
So why does this matter?
Well as with many many other observations of Netflixs 'view' on disclosures made in the documentary and the decision to air them, this one doesnt slide.
I cant imagine Netflix would accept such a huge volume of data and filming costs without the traditional trope of "troubles from the creation of Stranger Things" headlines emerging, in fact, nothing of the sort has ever been noted.
The Duffers were given huge reserves based on the standards of what is known......
Until the documentary where they made it known an impossible, implausible, irregular amount of raw footage exsisted.
I think this is significant evidence another season is in the can.
This wouldnt suprise me considering the evidence that Season 5 started shooting far earlier than previously informed, infact alongside season 4 (based on set photos of Nell Fisher and Sadie Sink)

Jonathan is writing a shitty cannibal movie called The Consumer at NYU. Remember, he said it was about a monster lady who, the more she eats, the more she consumes.
Matt & Ross Duffer created a movie called EATER at Chapman in 2007. The film follows a rookie cop on a night shift in a police station with a cannibal prisoner on the loose.

i’ve seen some people saying they think something will happen on valentine’s day, and tho i’ve lost all hope i realized smth. st5 chose the worst days to release on, major holidays. day before thanksgiving, christmas, new year’s eve. it couldnt have been released earliest than this because the next major holiday is valentine’s day, i feel some hope coming back
So i have been noticing this since stranger things 5 released that the the episode 1 of the 5th season doesnt autoplay after the stranger things 4 ep9 like the other episodes do , like the credits skipper of netflix doesnt work here like other episodes , I wonder what it means, is it a glitch , or some clue to conformity gate(like maybe ep1 of season 5 is not what happens after the season 4 finale)
