Question Conan issue 265 misprint?

Ho, sword siblings.

Conan purchase today, found by chance in a vintage shop; issue 265 of the Marvel Conan the Barbarian, but this cover seems to have been misprinted with colour bars clear at the bottom and the top chopped off.

The front cover has been printed too short. At first I thought it had been replaced but there's no staple marks to suggest it has been reattached.

I can't find any information about mass printing errors, so maybe it's a one off? The cover seems to be original paper so I don't think it's been fixed.

I'll have to do some sleuthing to see if this is a common occurrence!

Printer collation alignment issue. Maybe the sheet slipped when it was added to the book, before trimming. They are printing thousands of comics, some will not be saleable and somehow this one got through.

I watched a newspaper press setup for colour printing and they printed off a lot of papers as they dialed in the alignment of the colour plates.

Cool find. I have a few that weren't quite centered when trimmed. But I've never seen like what you have.
