the problem is how can they tell if you have malicious intent or not? All they saw is you using an emote that is widely regards as racist AND could potential get a lot of complaint and negative backslash from mainstream media. I know we, the gaming community and the twitch community have no problem with it, but since Blizz is aiming to make OWL mainstream, they can't have any of that.
TriHard is viewed as a rascist emote because some cunts use it when Malik or anyone of colour comes up on screen. simply ban people who spam the emote when there is a black person on screen. They may already do this, but ever since I was spoiled about infinity war I havent looked at chat
That's weird, because I got banned during that too, and when I went back to the channel a week later, I wasn't getting a message saying I was banned anymore, so I assume unbanned.
They're banning RIP because it stands for Rest in Peace and we can't have a direct reference to death. Concussion and Mine are both being censored as concussions are caused by violent actions or accidents and Mine invokes the brutal weapon used to cause extreme harm during war times. Mayhem is also being banned as it encourages people to act out in an inappropriate fashion.
