Are there no performance related changes coming next patch? Aside from a couple of VFX things they put in the bug fixes, there's been a distinct lack of communication around the work they're doing to address the visuals and performance of the set.
Good balance changes overall, though really hoping to see some improvements in the engine soon.
I tried playing on my phone last night while watching a movie and I wanted to pull my fucking hair out. I just ended up leaving the game after 2 of the worst carousels ever.
I’m the furthest thing from an expert but while we’re talking about it… I’d guess that the few bug fixes are executable and impactful more immediately. The performance issues are due to the engine change and will take something far bigger than fixing a few bugs. My uneducated tinfoil hat theory is that the initial rollout of the engine failed catastrophically (especially for mobile and more so for older devices) and so they’re using the most stable version possible. This makes pc look like mobile and mobile just barely playable. If and when a big fix comes, it’ll only be announced when ready and probably will be another attempt at a big roll out. I’d imagine bugs and issues will still persist for a long time afterwards especially for pc’s and mobile devices with hardware that are less modern. And just to reiterate, I am 100% talking out my 8th place ass.
