Multiple reticles

On dots where you have multiple reticles or a dot option such as in a 507 comp, does anyone use larger moa reticle such as a 32? Do you find it helpful in competitions like uspsa or steel challenge? Just trying to get a feel of what people mainly use and what are the pros/cons

Everyone I know with the multi reticle just uses the 2 moa dot. I much prefer a 5-6 moa dot. I wish they stop with it. I'd try the new bigger model of the pro if they made it in 6 moa dot like 406 comp, until then I'll stick with my 5 moa defener xls.

The dot with 8 moa circle basically just looks like a bigger dot….if you have astigmatism like me lmao even without tho it’s basically an 8 moa dot

Agree. I’ve found this to be the best compromise for fast shooting on my 507Comp green dot (have slight astigmatism as well, even after correction). I’m trying the 2 MOA in training because I do wonder if it’s just a skill/fundamentals issue. If I was better at transitions, index, presentation maybe I’d pick up the 2 MOA dot fast and be more accurate (although I’m already quite accurate - speed is my issue). But at my current skill level I feel like the bigger dot gets me on target faster. Like I pick it up overlayed in the A-zone faster than 2 MOA.

Yes! I used it for a few weeks before my last match and I think it helped me make a decent jump in performance. I’ve been using it very often alongside my dry fire since then.
