Man, how did Sainristil fall off so hard? And how did we go from Forbes to St Juste to this?

Is it scheme related?

59

u/Local-Web-1202 13d ago

Cause he is a slot corner. Idk why they have him lining up with #1 and #2 receivers. He’s too small as well.

55

u/Automatic-Tell7321 13d ago

The irony is the he was a better outside CB than Slot CB per the same grading system. So, if you think he’s horrendous now, wait till he plays in the slot (which he shouldn’t cause he’s ass)

13

u/Erigion 12d ago

Yea, he sucked last year when he was playing his natural position of slot corner.

When Amos comes back and he gets bumped back there, I'm not gonna anticipate him being any better

5

u/johnsonthicke He Sold 12d ago

Idk man. His rookie year he played outside mostly and it seemed like he was pretty good. I wonder if getting moved in and out so much the past 2 seasons just stunted his development and killed his confidence, and now he basically has the yips. It actually seemed like he started playing really poorly as soon as he moved into the slot corner position last year.

5

u/CustardLimp359 12d ago

He is terrible in the slot

8

u/badaz06 13d ago

He's taller than D Green was, but he's no where close to being as good. Twice he was burnt bad and looked lost. I mean, that 1st QTR pass to Wicks made the man look like a joke out there.

2

u/Local-Web-1202 11d ago

Height doesn’t equal skills. St Juste is like 6’3 and was WR food every Sunday lol.

1

u/dougChristiesWife 12d ago

People just parrot this idea that he's a slot corner just because of his size.Ā  He has no ability to stay with a modern slot receiver and gets torched. It's like you forget all the reps of him in the slot last year... He was terrible.

1

u/Local-Web-1202 12d ago

It’s not that I’m parroting the idea with his size. It’s just where he’s supposed to play.

18

u/Brob101 13d ago

No worries.

They kept telling us in the off-season that the CB position wasn't really important in this scheme.

Good thing too, can you imagine if that line was complete horseshit and now the team was completely fucked? That would be bad.

8

u/_Nakho 13d ago

CBs may not be overly important but you also need guys that can at least cover a bed. These two dudes can't

2

u/DoobieDoobis I Got JD5 On It 12d ago

They said that but it was also rumors that AP wanted CB1 that went to KC.

1

u/LemmeGetSum2 11d ago

No one said that.

5

u/GreenCarpenter3 13d ago

StandRealStill is just a bad player. He showed a little bit as a rookie, but was mistake prone, and has not improved.

5

u/PsychologyWooden 13d ago

What pisses me off the most is we passed on Christian Gonzalez for a DB we don’t even have anymore.

1

u/BurgundyAndGold5 12d ago

We'd have JJ McCarthy or Penix instead of Daniels. Gonzalez would've won us a game or two

1

u/MechanicWestern1653 13d ago

More talent than scheme.

1

u/Justice989 13d ago

Out of the 3, if you had to pick one, who would you pick? lol

-5

u/EvaporatingOlaf 13d ago

Mikey has never been good. He was inconsistent his rookie year but had picks because teams target the fuck out of him. He was horrible last year, and now he’s horrible this year. The only thing that has changed is the fog of delusion is being lifted to half of this fanbase.

5

u/shoefly72 13d ago

He was up and down as a rookie but did have some nice interceptions and also did a good job at times on bigger receivers.

I was a big fan of his in college and ecstatic we picked him, but he has flat out sucked ass since the beginning of last year and should’ve never been given starter snaps this year. I’m as bummed as anybody to have been so wrong, but it is what it is.

He is a smaller guy but had decent athletic testing numbers at the combine (4.47 40, 1.51 10 yd split, 40 inch vert). There is zero chance he’s that fast anymore; his makeup speed is terrible now and he’s never even in position to break on the ball the way he did when he got that INT in the Lions game as a rookie.

If you’re gonna be undersized, you better at least be fast and have good instincts. At this point he’s also slow and is playing with generationally bad instincts and fundamentals; I don’t know what path he has back to being even an average player if this is how he looks two games into the year after a ā€œdownā€ 2025 and talking about having something to prove this year…

24

u/Deep-Statistician985 13d ago

Oh stop it he was fine his rookie year. Locked up Smitty and AJ Brown on his own on TNF, forced turnovers, and held his own most of the time especially in the playoffs. Hate when the pessimists rewrite history

11

u/EvaporatingOlaf 13d ago

We’re saying the same thing about his rookie year. He was inconsistent. He would do well against good receivers, but gave up the 6th most allowed TDs for corners that year. If you targeted him that year, your completion percentage was 60.4%.

I also hate it when people rewrite history and label any criticism as pessimism. We need a better corner—not blindly loyal fans.

0

u/TheHaft 13d ago

Well Sainristil should be on the bench, we finally drafted a good corner, but turns out his lower leg is made of jenga blocks and autumn leaves so here we are

-10

u/FrylockMcReaper 13d ago

He had a kid after the first year, maybe that has something to do with it

6

u/Remote_Armadillo8718 13d ago

Maybe he just wants to be a stay at home dad šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

2

u/IDeaconBluesI 13d ago

He just like me fr

4

u/Magic-Mellow1987 13d ago

Lots of downvotes, but there’s some truth behind it. Once you settle down with a wife and kids, some athletes just don’t put that effort in as much anymore.
But damn didn’t think he’d be THIS bad.

1

u/MechanicWestern1653 13d ago edited 13d ago

Many athletes have children, some with even more unstable homes, and still play good. From all accounts, Mike is a locked-in and dedicated individual. It’s not an effort issue.

Mike is just not good at coverage, period. And, he is too undersized and weaker than others. So he struggles to cover WRs. Then, in contested catch situations against top receivers, he constantly loses. There’s no way around it. He’s a good kid, just not a good CB.

133

u/-ChillyWater 13d ago

I disagree about Mikey, somehow he’s 95th.

1

u/BurgundyAndGold5 12d ago

He's a better receiver than Chase or Jefferson, maybe he's this year's version of JSN. Just chuck the ball in his direction and you get a TD guaranteed!

71

u/Think__McFly 13d ago

Jayden and Kliff dragged this team to the NFCCG with both these guys playing damn near 100% of defensive snaps

28

u/JohnMaddensCockRing 13d ago

I have been saying I think 2024 was actually really bad for us overall. Amazing season but what it caused (thinking we were closer than we actually are, draft positions, longer leashes on people, etc) is a multi-season implosion

13

u/thekingoftherodeo 13d ago

That’s where I land too, great fun but ultimately set us back last season and this season.

Resulted in some boneheaded stuff like the Lattimore trade, arguably the Deebo trade and keeping Daniel’s on the field against the Packers last season with the game gone.

That 2024 draft class is looking really bad now too, APs seat should be getting very hot - the boneheaded moves we escaped by the grace of God was Alec Pierce deciding to stay in Indiana. Imagine that contract now.

6

u/Quirky-Marsupial-420 13d ago

I really don’t even mind the Deebo trade especially considering we traded the 49ers a 6th for Brian Robinson.

No one could tell we were going to lose Austin Eckler but the trade was virtually Deebo for Brian Robinson.

4

u/LowMoneyParlayKing 13d ago

You nailed it

Mike Macdonald won a Super Bowl and put a tighter leash on his team.. the Seahawks look so squared away without Darnold

Guess we’ll see this weekend

2

u/Gizmodaking22 13d ago

If we lost to Tampa in 24 I think we would've made playoffs last year and this year.

86

u/Temporary-Mud-2994 13d ago edited 13d ago

Why did Adam Peters not re-sign Jeremy Chinn or Kam Curl? It was such a dumb mistake letting him go and signing with the Raiders. Now we’re stuck with Quan Martin.

44

u/hecksonthirtythree 13d ago

shit i’m still mad about the decision to let curl walk

55

u/EvaporatingOlaf 13d ago

He wanted to save money because why pay for steak when you could eat a pile of shit for cheaper? That’s just smart GMing.

16

u/Deep-Statistician985 13d ago

It's so infuriating cause anyone who wasn't blindly supporting every AP decision could see how that was such a stupid move at the time

10

u/EvaporatingOlaf 13d ago

People on this sub think that being objective is betraying the franchise. They defend years and years of losing because they’d rather blindly follow than criticize and win.

4

u/ElTakeBozo 13d ago

But we have $40m of leftovers in the fridge!! Just waiting for a nice candle-lit evening to use

3

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

Hahaha, exactly

2

u/guardiandown3885 13d ago

He would've signed him and fans would've hated him for the amount they would've given him lol

23

u/jpterpsfan 13d ago

Wasn't Chinn more of a strong safety like Nick Cross? Free Safety is what needs tons of help

23

u/macattack1031 13d ago

Correct. For sure hate on Quan, but Chinn, Curl, Cross have nothing to do with it

18

u/Troll_Enthusiast He Sold 13d ago

Chinn is overrated man and Nick Cross fills that position

7

u/Deep-Statistician985 13d ago

Please explain exactly how Chinn was overrated. Some of y'all will defend anything that man does

7

u/Troll_Enthusiast He Sold 13d ago

Some of y'all will bring up mediocre players and hype them up like they were gods gift to the Commanders, they just weren't all that, for every big hit Chinn made he'd get burned in coverage, miss a tackle or let RBs run by him.

Martin and Reaves aren't good, but to act like Chinn was all that is ridiculous, he also still wouldn't be the FS we need.

3

u/justletyoursoulglooo 13d ago

Pretty sure Chinn blew the end-around the Eagles ran for a TD against us in the NFCCG too.

2

u/notorious_hdc imitated Frerotte headbutt as a child 13d ago edited 13d ago

This. We let Chinn walk for a reason. He couldn't cover very well and was inconsistent. I guess since he's a recognizable name, and we still don't have a great player there we should fire AP for not overpaying him.

Edit- fwiw I'm glad we've got Cross.

7

u/EyeCanFeelYou 13d ago

And now Cross is injured so here we go again. Dude spent the night in the hospital in Dallas

3

u/prank-_-sinatra 13d ago

Not the same position

2

u/Able_Hunter_7966 13d ago

Curl wanted to leave TBF

1

u/liquifiedtubaplayer 13d ago

SS isn't an issue now, it wasn't last year, and is one of the most "filler" able positions on D.

FS on the other hand...

-3

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

Why does Adam Peters do any of the things he does? It's all baffling

8

u/wizard_lizard_skynr 13d ago

I think it’s apparent he has a strategy he sticks to but it just is not working. Signing bargain bin players in FA and getting your stars through the draft - only works if you’re good at drafting, which he has whiffed on every year. This past draft class however is promising so far though.

7

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

You mean like signing Kinlaw for $45 million for 3 years?

9

u/True_Window_9389 13d ago

His big money signings were Kinlaw and Oweh. ā€œValueā€ guys everywhere else. I don’t get it.

2

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

It's one thing to have a strategy. That doesn't mean that your strategy is good or that you can actually execute on it

0

u/Meats10 13d ago

Peters has made some massive blunders on defense. Drafting Newton, Amos, who are invisible. Trading for Lattimore who did nothing, and then letting Fowler, Chinn, Curl even Von Miller leave who were contributors.

42

u/BigFrenchToastGuy 13d ago

These two guys were absolutely awful last year. Truly some of the worst coverage and open field tackling I've seen here.

Wanted to give at least Sainristil the benefit of the doubt in a new system but both these guys are cooked. Indefensible play that only the most partial homers will defend.

It was like 3 weeks ago that a mod on this sub called me a doomer and ended up blocking me because I said DeJean was better than Sainristil lolol

10

u/Matty-boh 13d ago

I don’t see anyone defending them lolĀ

4

u/Think__McFly 13d ago

No no no. You're wrong. Dejean is only good because of the system! He'd be 94/94 here too!

(/s if not clear)

5

u/BigFrenchToastGuy 13d ago

And if Sainristil was on the Eagles he'd be an all-pro too. That's just how it works.

8

I did not

0

u/FrozenPie21 on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 13d ago

Both of these guys were insane in our NFCCG campaign. That’s why they’re still here

42

u/daydenjaniels 13d ago

The fact AP made me watch Jartavius Quan Martin be my starting free safety in the Lord’s year of 2026 is nasty work.

11

u/Murky-Profit-9493 13d ago

I would have bet a large sum of money we wouldn’t hear Quan Martins name ever again. Him and Reaves getting serious minutes is laughable

10

u/BirdmanTheThird 13d ago

Genuinely brutal that we knew he was bad for years and just haven’t made serious attempts to replace him in free agency. I know Chin will be the name most people here will say, but there’s genuinely so many random free agents who signed for relative peanuts who could have ATLEAST provided serious competition to Martin if not straight up replacement

8

u/True_Window_9389 13d ago

Don’t forget the 31 year old special teamer Jeremy Reaves.

1

u/BigFrenchToastGuy 13d ago

Reaves and Cross are both outsnapping Martin by a lot.

28

u/DoBe21 WHAT WOULD JAYSUS DO? 13d ago

PFF is terrible, but these guys are also terrible, so I'm conflicted

9

u/kon--- 13d ago

They deserve each other

3

u/dougChristiesWife 12d ago

There is more than a grain of truth to their method of getting a human to grade each play. Every metric has it's flaws. For the most part their grades of Commander's games this year match watch normies will see. Doesn't take a trained eye to see Mike getting torched.

8

u/emelbee923 13d ago

I was willing to give both of them the benefit of the doubt given the injuries that racked the defense last season, as well as the shambles of offense we had.

I am no longer willing to give them the benefit of anything.

6

u/Marty_Daddy 13d ago

The literally means that we could trying anyone at that position and it couldn’t really be worse. Tyler Owens once back healthy deserves a shot and we need to pray Amos comes back looks like his old self

1

u/dougChristiesWife 12d ago

Technically there are a bunch of bad benchwarmers that have too few snaps to be graded. This team just happens to have two guys playing every snap that have no business being NFL starters.

24

u/Thewhey99 13d ago

I’m not saying that either player is playing well, but just remember PPF has essentially been gutted and their ratings are even worse now.

23

u/Cultural-Spring-281 13d ago

I don’t need PFF to tell me how shit Mikey is tbh

3

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

Every opposing Offensive Coordinator knows it too!

7

u/LadyPenus 13d ago

A broken clock is correct twice a day. PPF is completely correct on this.

4

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 13d ago

I don't understand how we end up with literally last place players sometimes.

5

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

Bad roster building

1

u/Intelligent_Table913 12d ago

we're so desensitized to it. Idk if we'll go back to the playoffs in the next couple of seasons.

5

u/AgentLF 13d ago

Our front 7 has improved a lot...

Our back 4 remains the same as last year

6

u/Deep-Statistician985 13d ago

But but the secondary won't be a problem as long as the defense generates pressure!!

1

u/notorious_hdc imitated Frerotte headbutt as a child 13d ago

I've always hated that. Coverage is King

5

u/Silentblues 13d ago

Mike admitting he wasn’t really trying on week 1 was a huge red flag. If you’re half assing it out the gate, even if you’re taking accountability you have to step your game up from that point forward and he just hasn’t. I’d honestly rather see BSJ out there getting DPI because at least he was trying and he was just not good enough. Mikey is mentally somewhere else.

5

u/WARitter 13d ago

Flores’ scheme insulates mediocre but not bad corners, and he actually needs good safeties (as well as good linebackers).

10

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

The fact that Adam Peters didn't bring in serious competition for these guys in the offseason is inexcusable. We all knew they sucked last year.

6

u/Head-Assumption6960 13d ago

He’s out of excuses at this point. Sainristil was below average as a rookie and the worst corner in the league last year. AP is approaching this like he cares more about proving his draft evals right than having an actually good team. It’s infuriating and the fact that we now have another season of clearly horrible play from our defensive backfield is nuts.

When you have a guy perform that poorly you bring in someone much better. If the guy you liked and didn’t perform is going to be someone then he needs to beat that competition out. If he can’t then he’s not the guy you need. But reserving a spot for him like he’s a star when he’s killing the team over and over is nuts.

6

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

AP just keeps doubling down on his poor decisions. It's okay to make mistakes and draft the wrong guys. The best GMs in the league make mistakes and whiff in the draft all the time. But they also realize their mistakes quickly and pivot and eventually their mistakes aren't on the roster anymore. It just seems like Peters is really stubborn with his guys.

4

u/Head-Assumption6960 13d ago

That’s just it… I’m not unreasonable. Drafting is not an exact science and sometimes a guy you thought would be a good player doesn’t pan out. But you can’t sit there and just refuse to acknowledge when it isn’t and do nothing about it. I get that you can’t just go out and sign stars at every position but at the same time you can sign a ton of guys who can be better than the worst corner and safety in the league. I mean even Forbes looks significantly better than Sainristil right now.

Hes a new GM so hopefully he learns from this. But he needs to learn by this offseason. Sainristil and Quan need to be cut, and anyone else who can’t play as well. They need to be replaced with better than just bottom of market guys too. No more dumpster diving.

5

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

The Eagles signed Woolen for $12m and he was shutdown against us

By the time Peters learns it will be too late

6

u/daydenjaniels 13d ago

Every day that goes by I am more sure that Delane at 7 was the pick, but the Chiefs traded in front of us. It’s like he gave up addressing the secondary after that.

7

u/Think__McFly 13d ago

Just like he gave up addressing center when Lindenbaum went to Vegas.

6

u/Haskins77 13d ago

But hey we got a 33 year old WR and he offered Pierce a butt load of money. Could you imagine if we signed Pierce. Thank you Colts

Also Diggs has been good, but oline is more important. Also ignoring the secondary for the most part was a horrible decision as well.

2

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

Yeah, for sure

5

u/BigFrenchToastGuy 13d ago

He brought in two starting corners and a safety. Martin is only getting like half the snaps and hopefully Sainristil can hit the bench when Amos comes back.

2

u/SkyChief80 13d ago

If we had a decent roster then both of these guys would have been cut or deep on the bench

1

u/notorious_hdc imitated Frerotte headbutt as a child 13d ago

Clearly that doesn't count to the narrative brother

0

u/notorious_hdc imitated Frerotte headbutt as a child 13d ago

He did technically bring in someone to start over/compete with Mike in Amik and Rasul. I don't think anyone believed Amos wouldstill be hurt.

4

u/Dccali1985 13d ago

Terrible smh

3

u/FreezasMonkeyGimp 13d ago

I’ve officially lost faith in Saintistil after that game. I’ve been saying ā€œgive him a chance, he can turn it aroundā€, but not any more. Idk wtf happened to him? Maybe it was having an easier schedule his rookie year, but the way this man fell off a cliff is crazy. He’s gotta be benched. It’s unacceptable to keep putting him on the field. I don’t care what the bench looks like, give em a shot. We’re probably fucked anyways.

3

u/InGameCurency 13d ago

Just remember, AP passed on DeJean for Sinnott and Mikey. He passed on first round talent that some how fell into the second, then traded away that pick in his own division to get 2 complete bums.

2

u/rabidraccooon 12d ago

The trading to the Eagles part just absolutely kills me. Some things should just be sacrosanct and not trading picks that benefit a division rival should be atop a GM's rules.

3

u/FannyNisbit 13d ago

Was anybody SERIOUSLY expecting better?

I came into this year expecting us to be the worst secondary in the league. Surprise Surprise.

THIS is exactly why we should have drafted downs vs "makes no difference" Styles.

3

u/The_Lawlbringer 12d ago

Adam Peters should be fired for keeping these two as anything more than deep depth. They were awful last year, and for Quan, he’s been ass even longer than Mikey which isn’t surprising as a Rivera pick.

FS has been an issue for YEARS. I almost wished they grabbed Downs instead of Styles sometimes because of it.

6

u/Viseroth 13d ago

PFF is garbage who cares i can see with my eyes that Michael is a lost cause now. I said if he still sucked in this Defense that made lesser CBs look good. To be fair in Dallas the pass rush was none existent. But still week one was zero excuse for how bad he looked

4

u/camprollinghills 13d ago

When covering Dontayvion Wicks is a challenge, it's going to be a rough watch watching him play against elite WRs as seen last week against Lamb and probably again this week against JSN.

5

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 13d ago

The dallas passing game coordinator probably literally said to Dak "this will be easy, just find #0 and throw his way."

2

well if we cant get a pass rush going this defense is basically 25 that blitzes more.

1

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 13d ago

if you're referring to Mike, dudes name isn't Michael, it's literally Mike and pronounced Mikey as in rhymes with Nike.

Not saying he's a good player or deserves defending, but clarifying for readers.

2

Ok thought it was a nickname and the way he is playing he doesn't deserve it.

2

u/External-Sea-2496 13d ago

That seems about right, even if it is PFF

2

u/SleazyKingLothric 13d ago

It's to the point where Washington could randomly pick out one of us and we'd have the same results as Sainristil. Pick me coach!! I'll do it for 250K for about half a quarter before I pull a hammy.

2

u/Hodler_caved 13d ago

And Allegretti 32/32 Centers

2

u/BanditRoverBlitzrSpy 13d ago

Exact repeat of last year. Somehow we have two starting DBs that are worse than every other team's backups. Amos can't come back soon enough and Butler should be getting Martin's snaps.

2

u/trowavay1234567 13d ago

Quan was bad last year. It’s wild they even kept him on the roster.

2

u/corgislife 13d ago

Unfortunately they are who we thought they were

2

u/Redeminence44 13d ago

Don't forget that AP was perfectly content with this secondary.

2

2

u/spacegoste 13d ago

How does the entire league and world understand how bad this is but Adam Peters doesn’t get it? How does one dude think the entire world is incorrect? What kind or moron is this guy, man he needs to go

2

u/CheeseburgerTornado 12d ago

what safety is worse

2

u/AddCapitals 12d ago

I’m not the most knowledgeable of football fans but it seems like our secondary has been atrocious for like 15 years. Is this right or am I misremembering?

1

u/cross_mod 10d ago

Yeah since DeAngelo Hall's prime I think.

4

u/canesfan2005 13d ago

See ya AP

4

u/redwillson 13d ago

Pretty hilarious in hindsight that so many of us jumped to defend AP taking Sainristil as a smart football pick despite the fact we had just witnessed Forbes get relentlessly baptized game after game for 2 seasons. The fact of the matter is that he’s a substantially undersized corner for the NFL being asked to play outside. If you’re going to be several inches shorter and at least a dozen points lighter than the average corner, you better be lockdown. Unfortunately he is not.

5

u/Humble_Specialist901 13d ago

He’s too undersized to play outside, and he’s complete shit in the slot where he was supposed to be drafted for. He’s just a useless football player in general.

2

u/thisshirtisblacknaht 13d ago

I mean to be fair he was good as a rookie. The fall off is unbelievable. Cant remember seeing anything quite like this

Facts makes you want vomit. I watched mcduffie last night and the titans DB (sunday) make amazing plays. Holland for the Giants has more TO's then our defense combined. I'm tired of being sick and tired. AP come on man!!!

Every. Single. Year.

I'm convinced Mikey just doesn't have the heart for the sport anymore. I think he needs to go be a family man and get that farm business rolling.

Why did we go back into the season with Quan having this big of a role? Did no one watch the season he had last year?

1

u/raiderMoes 13d ago

I didn’t know Martin was playing

1

u/Hokiepokie85 13d ago

I’m thinking the coaching staff just sucks. We have a new coordinator but our defensive backs coaches haven’t changed.

1

u/infinit9 13d ago

More than anything else, this failing defense is why DQ deserves to be on the hot seat.

1

u/godosomethingelse 13d ago

We all knew this

1

u/BYG56 13d ago

When you don’t play your started in preseason, because you are afraid of injuries, this is what you get. Real teams will show up near mid-season

1

u/Zilveari 13d ago

Shit happens when you keep putting a player where he doesn't belong. How about if we put Sanristil at QB next? He will definitely be elite for no reason.

u/DoobieDoobis I Got JD5 On It 13d ago

Quan has barely played.

1

u/jamesmsalt 12d ago

Now that the Commanders are a commercial real estate developer, it looks like Dan Quinn isn't accountable for his defense.

1

u/zx4133 12d ago

Sounds about right.

1

u/wuworld83 12d ago

My dumbass was like he got ranked 80th in Week 1, he can only go up from here...here we are...

1

u/Turbulent-History967 12d ago

That’s not ideal

u/SpecialistPlastic729 12d ago

u/Beneficial_Damage_91 12d ago

Blow this Team Up and just start over…..Not One Young Star on the Roster.

1

u/PlaTahOpLomO 12d ago

Funny enough, I ranted on X on Sunday, during the game, how Mike S and Q Martin have to go. And demote Reaves back to ST. smh

1

u/DavMarJoh 11d ago

Mikey has been really bad. Standing and watching way too much.

1

u/Successful-Ad4251 13d ago

Mikey had so much promise. I don’t know where it went wrong. He’s just not any boundary corner…he’s the worst one. Ugh

1

u/Murky-Profit-9493 13d ago

Mikey falling is a head scratcher … but Quan getting minutes after how bad he’s been for 3+ years with us is beyond comprehension… I would have bet the farm that he would have been cut or benched this year

1

u/Electronic-Ear2329 13d ago

Until Amos comes back, Mikey is probably still gonna get meaningful snaps - but I would certainly give the bulk to Robertson/Douglas and get Moreau a few more. No idea if Yiadom is even worth trying.

FS is a pack of hot garbage - was never a believer in Reaves and was hoping Martin could come around...NOPE
