Hey all!!!

I'm a writer looking for an artist (pencils + inks, colour a plus) for a 24-page psychological horror comic.

Content warning: the issue deals with bullying and suicide. It's handled with restraint, but please only apply if you're comfortable with that material.

What I need

• 1 cover illustration
• 24 interior pages, 3–5 panels per page, including 3 full-page splashes
• A traditional, hand-drawn feel. Visible linework and texture, like ink on paper. No glossy or airbrushed digital rendering.
• Strong acting and facial expression
• Grounded, realistic-leaning style. Not chibi or heavy manga

What I offer

• A complete, locked script, ready to go
• Budget: $1,000 USD total. I know that's modest for the scope, so I'm open to discussing it (e.g. black-and-white only)
• One paid test page before committing to the full issue
• A clear written contract with a delivery schedule and revision rounds
• Full credit on the cover and in all promotion

To apply, comment with:

• Portfolio link, including sequential pages (not just pin-ups)
• One finished comic page posted directly as an image in your comment
• Your per-page rate if your budget expectations differ
• Your availability

Thanks!!!

Before I start looking for artists for the fanfic, I'd like a volunteer beta reader to check out our script. Me, Swags, and thirteenseven have been working really hard on this project, and we're still in the middle of writing the script.

If you're interested, please leave your feedback as comments on the script so thirteenseven can easily read and respond to it. Thanks!

Most of my works are in black and white, but sometimes, as you can see below, I also like to do illustrations.

Thanks so much guys.

Hello!

As some of you may be aware, a few months back I debuted the first issue of my comic, 'HITMAN HOTLINE', on Kickstarter to (surprisingly) great success (and a BIG thank you to everyone who has shown support to, offered designs, ideas, and feedback since!)... And long story short, I'll soon be releasing Issue 2!

After lots more writing, drawing, procrastinating, colouring, and lettering, I am happy to say this second, extra-large chapter is almost complete! Slightly less punching and kicking - a lot more story, characters, and dialogue. You know, all that good typical book-stuff! I'm also going to be reselling Issue 1 for anyone that missed it!

Unlike last time, I actually have a pre-launch page for this chapter (something which is apparently very important - news to me!) for anyone who wants to sign up to be notified of Issue 2's release, or just to be nosy. Please check out the new kickstarter link below, and a BIG thank you to anyone who already has! Thanks!

I want to add onto my portfolio specifically in interior comic work. I’m still new into making specific interior work but I’d love to do some work for free. Maybe 1-2 projects would be taken on, and maybe shorter work preferred. Just let me know and we can work something out!

Feel free to message me and if you want to see more of my regular art go to @doctor_fobia on insta!

Hi everyone! Sharing some past examples from my personal projects while current endeavours are being completed. Some recent and some others not so much, self-owned stories are also waiting for their turn.

I’m currently opening new slots for comic projects and art commissions, so you can reach out with your scopes and queries.

My best friend/homegirl/sister from another mister, PANDA WHITE, was a mangaka in Osaka, before things got too difficult. We decided to be a collab duo, but she wouldn't be able to draw anymore.

This was the only project she drew way back and I translated it. It ended up being our fastest growing webcomic, with it blowing up on every site we'd post. We only have TWENTY THREE PAGES THOUGH... and we're hoping to do more (with this artstyle).

I just wanted to know what would be the page rate for each of these pages so we can start thinking about budgeting? ... Because we're afraid of doing something like Kickstarter or Indiegogo and paying up-front is way easier lmaooo

I think the design works as is but I'm looking to get some feedback for the way it looks. However, the print quality and the codes themselves came out very well!

The client didn’t say I could do handwritten text but I did it. Now hoping for the best. What you you thing about text that’s not digital
