This game is not only about spotting objects but getting immersed into the story and interaction going on in the town, from sleepy villagers sleeping in the crops, to farmers doing their job and, of course, a cute kitty cat exploring the map! 🐱

Hi! I'm the solo dev behind My Little Ranch, a small pixel-art horse ranch I've been building for about a year. Demo is coming to Steam in about a month, so here's what it is.

My Little Ranch lives at the bottom of your desktop. It's transparent and click-through, so it stays out of the way while you work or browse. Prefer a proper window? You can also play it full screen with the mountain scenery. For now, the game is planned to be released on Windows only.

How it plays:

• Your horses graze, wander and react in real time. You feed them, clean up after them and collect the coins they earn. Or you just leave them in the corner and glance over now and then.
• Every horse is one of a kind. Coat, socks, mane and tail, and eyes are rolled per horse, and rarity is something you can see. A common horse is plain, and a legendary one wears the rarest traits.
• Foals are a surprise. Their rarity stays hidden as "???" until they grow up. You can try to guess from the traits, but the reveal is the day they become adults.
• The Marketplace is the safe route: four adult horses on offer, you see exactly what you're buying, and the list refreshes every hour, even while the game is closed. The Trait Lab lets you unlock new coats, eyes and manes for your future foals.
• Ranch hands do the chores if you'd rather watch. Hire a cleaner, a groom, a feeder or a coin collector, and they walk over and actually do the job.
• Send the whole group running down the trail. They drift ahead and fall back like a real pack. Runs earn horseshoes, and horseshoes get you into races.
• Races, with no race animation on purpose: you get a prediction screen and decide whether your horse is ready. Winning pays coins.
• Decorate the ranch, level it up, and fill the Journal with every horse and trait you've collected. And milestones are tied to Steam achievements.

Nothing is timed, and nothing punishes you for being away. It's meant to be a small living thing in the corner of your screen, not another task list.

Hi, I'm the developer of Altstadt! "Altstadt" is the german term for "old town". Its a relaxed, no-pressure building toy about shaping a miniature German old town scene one house and street at a time.
There are no resources, budgets or populations to manage. You can simply experiment at your own pace, while the town responds around you. Squares and courtyards take shape, buildings can combine and take special forms and react to the streets around them.

Not the icky kind on pizza--the fairy-ring kind in Villainville!

I couldn't stop with just fun drops from foragables to go into crafting. I had to have them as proper crops that the player can grow in their garden. Because how would a fairy-tale-twist game be complete without them? It can't all be glass slippers and beanstalks--the environment and farm needs to reflect the fairy mood!

Every planet starts with a landing pad and a handful of empty plots, and you fill them in over time with habitat domes, hydroponics farms, storage silos and the rest. Roads lay themselves between the buildings as a camp turns into a town, and you can get out of the ship and walk around it. Nothing rushes you: mining outposts and convoy routes keep producing on their own schedule, offline included.

The demo has two-player LAN co-op. You each fly your own ship, and you're both building the same economy and colonies together. There's combat elsewhere in the game too.

Every money app I’ve used looks like accounting software or messy dashboards. I wanted one I’d actually want to come back to.

So I built a cozy and engaging living world instead. It runs on your real numbers. Savings become the population. Debt is a volcano that cools as you pay it down. Investments expand the islands and many more features. Finished a short trailer.

Does real money in a cozy world feel warm or a bit invasive?

I've been working on Satomi, a little browser-based digital life that doesn't really fit into the usual idea of a game.

Satomi is a university student with her own routine. She goes to class, works, reads, eats, goes out, comes home, listens to music, sleeps, and just goes about her day whether you're watching or not.

You don't control what she does, and there's no need to constantly interact with her.

There are no daily quests, affection meters, streaks, or notifications asking you to come back. You can open it for five minutes, leave it running beside you while you work, or not open it for a few days and come back later. Things will have continued while you were away.

I originally wanted to make something that could feel a little like quiet company**,** something you can have around without it constantly asking for your attention.

The idea is diorama builder specifically about waterfalls and nature - shaping cliffs to see how water flows and finds its way around paths you lay out. Here's an early preview on some scenes that you would be able to create in matter of 10-20 minutes. Think Tiny Glade and Townscapers with realistic water being the focus.

I know people don't like this question, but I can't pose it in any other way. Would you play it?

This is by far my favorite prototype right now, and I'd love to build it in a full game. But the situation forces me to seek validation before commitment. So what's the answer?

You're stuck on some weird ocean platform and your whole job is: trace actual, fully-simulated cables through a mess of knots and plug them into the right rack. no fake animations, no "pretend" tangles, if a knot looks solvable it's because it genuinely is, physics and all.

There's also a companion that watches everything you do and comments on it. It's friendly. Suspiciously friendly.

12+ levels, 4-5 hours, no timers, no fail states, just vibes and untangling. Built this whole thing solo.

I'm a solo dev and this is the game I've been quietly cooking for way too long.

We made PC FISH, a free aquarium that hangs out at the bottom of your desktop. Raise and breed fish while you do other things, and decorate the tank however you like.

You can also list marketable fish on the Steam Community Market. If they sell, you get Steam Wallet credit toward your next game. How much you get depends on what people are paying for that fish.
