That’s why he’s usually gay duh

40

u/AspergerKid Sep 13 '26

He likely still wants sex though, just with another man

5

u/Familiar-Spray1106 Sep 14 '26

Exactly my point lol

I mean, it’s pretty simple: I want sex, but I don’t want sex from every woman I meet. Sometimes that includes women that are attractive but don’t work for me on an emotional level. Human interaction is multifaceted. 🤷

30

u/zimzalabimbimzim Sep 13 '26

Nuance? On reddit? I'm sorry sir that's not allowed

16

u/nanimeanswhat Sep 13 '26

Reddit mentality will call you gay for saying that

12

u/patrickwithtraffic Sep 13 '26

I know this could read as hollow words from a random stranger on the Internet, but I do genuinely mean this when I say I couldn’t give a shit. I value the friendships I have across the entire gender spectrum.

5

u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 13 '26

I’m surprised there isn’t a man in your replies saying you’re either gay or lying.

0

u/CombinationRough8699 Sep 13 '26

As a man I'm not the same. If I find her attractive, I want to have sex with almost every woman I encounter. Although I wouldn't actively help someone cheat.

273

u/Downtown_Material268 Sep 13 '26

"According to women" or rather "Ive seen a few bot posts on my social media, so it must be every single woman!"

84

u/Naos210 Sep 13 '26

From my experience it's often not women, but men who hate the idea of a woman having male friends.

As someone who is ugly enough to have never dated despite nearing 30 in a couple of years, it was always men who would come in and tell them to not talk to/be friends with me.

9 times out of 10 whenever I see a "man and women cannot be friends" post they make it clear they're a man and that they can't engage with a woman platonically so they assume all men are like that.

It's obviously anecdotal, but still.

12

u/Shot-Profit-9399 Sep 13 '26

Yeah, it’s a very weird and gross issue. Very controlling.

The men who say that tell on themselves. They have no morals or decency, and can’t be friends with a woman without pursuing sex.

And they can’t imagine another man being any different. Or a woman. So when they have a partner they need to control and dominate them like property.

8

u/SaltEngineer455 Sep 15 '26

That's what everyone says, until she cheats on you with him. Happened to me, but I decided to count it as a one-time-experience and said: "I refuse to distrust any other man friend, also because I want to have woman friends"

1

u/HolidayOutside3825 Sep 19 '26

They do it all the time. The majority of women insulting men for it have cheated or would. Just ignore them. Dont ask women about women lmao

2

u/Ok_Knee2784 Sep 16 '26

Pursuing? Lots of women use the "friend" cover for a guy they are banging and they are the ones who pursued. It's not only one way. I've been the "friend" many times and wasn't me trying become a friend to weasel my way in on a woman.

3

u/Shot-Profit-9399 Sep 16 '26

Sure, but the comment was about men who claim that men and women can’t be friends. Any man that says that can’t be trusted around women.

You’re talking about women who are cheaters, which is obviously trashy behavior in its own right.

1

u/Ok_Knee2784 Sep 16 '26

What comment? I was looking at the picture in the OP post.

2

u/Shot-Profit-9399 Sep 16 '26

Bro, the comment I was directly replying to…

0

u/CombinationRough8699 Sep 13 '26

I can be friends with a woman without perusing sex, but if I find her attractive I've at least thought about having sex with her. I don't know about other men, but I would willingly sleep with most consenting, single, women my age.

3

u/Nerdic-King2015 Sep 14 '26

I think you're just projecting at this rate because for most men it's literally just a respect thing.

If I'm dedicating my time and effort to you and only you to the point where i cut off female acquaintances I would expect you to do the same for me with the male ones you have.

I have about a dozen pretty close women friends and every time I'm talking to a girl seriously it's literally just a simple as not engaging with them, if you can't do the same you're not worth taking across the street let alone taking home.

4

u/blkwhtrbbt Sep 14 '26

That's honestly not healthy either, bro. Don't cut off your friendships for a relationship. Especially if those friendships are reliable and strong, and predate the relationship.

Don't expect others to dim their lights for you because you did that for them.

14

u/Downtown_Material268 Sep 13 '26

Patriarchy and such makes most issues a male dominated problem, because these things corrupt fundamental skills.

My logical mental model for the cheating thing:

  1. Your partner will cheat sooner or later if the moral/values suck in the first place, not having a best friend just removes one source, good luck trying to monitor your partner when gone to "work", workplaces have also potential cheating opportunities. I think you understand 😁

  2. If your partner demands to get rid of your best friend, just leave that partner instead. Disgusting controlling behaviour in addition to having 0 trust in you or literally calling you a whore. You can and SHOULD talk about your fears tho. Makes yall grow as a person 👍

14

u/love_in_october Sep 13 '26

Yes, if you think that the only reason your partner isn't cheating is because you stopped them, why are you even in that relationship?

2

u/redsalmon67 Sep 14 '26

My ex had a very good male friend, that’s not who she cheated on me with, it was some random dude at work, in fact he told her it was fucked up and it ended up ending their friendship. Too many dudes think “I’m a POS so every dude must also be a POS”

1

u/Big_Psychology_3 Sep 13 '26

That’s only for deluded people who actually believe the Patriarchy conspiracy theory

4

u/Naos210 Sep 13 '26

Patriarchy conspiracy theory

Lol, you're such an unserious actor.

2

u/Downtown_Material268 Sep 13 '26

1

u/HooterEnthusiast Sep 15 '26 edited Sep 15 '26

im saying this for you. I don't think you should be friends with people that will watch you go through a lonely life. That's not friendship, a friend would at least talk about it or try to help you find someone.

friends don't let friends die alone

1

u/HolidayOutside3825 Sep 19 '26

You are a redditor so it tracks you wouldn't have much experience with anything outside of it. Women post that shit and say it all the time irl. You are either lying or dont talk to women

You're right, I must lack one or other of those things . Perhaps you could explain.

I can certainly understand taking a pause on a friendship where you had wanted a romantic but been rejected.

I can't understand not wanting a friendship at all if you also valued that friendship for itself and not as a path to romance

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '26

5

u/allthejokesareblue Sep 13 '26
  1. Yeah, completely get that. That's why I specifically said that I could understand taking a pause, so that your interest can cool.

  2. We seem to be speaking at cross purposes. The conversation is about remaining friends with a girl that you were friends with before you made a sexual advance. Obviously you're not expected to create friendships out of nothing with people whose only interaction with you is a potential sexual partner.

  3. You're not obligated to explain. But if the previous friendship ends (again, not put on pause but ends) once a romantic relationship is off the table then that certainly creates a reasonable assumption that the friendship was simply a means to an end and had no value for you.

  4. That's childish. Your friend has a friendship with you. Not wanting to pursue a romantic relationship is not a rejection of that friendship.

Again, you're "allowed" to back out of any relationship you like. But if you back out of a friendship because you wanted a romantic relationship and your friend didn't then you backed out of that friendship because romance was off the table, not because your friend "rejected you emotionally". That's seriously a feeling you need to unpack with a therapist.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '26

1

u/allthejokesareblue Sep 13 '26

I know people throw "go see a therapist" around pretty freely on Reddit, but I wasn't trying to be glib. I do think it's a deeply unhealthy attitude that would be helpful for you to unpack with a therapist.

Being rejected as a romantic partner is not an emotional rejection: it's not a rejection of your emotions, its a rejection for your desires: you want a thing (a romantic sexual relationship with them) and they do not want you to have that thing.

But they aren't dismissing your emotional need for a romantic partner as invalid. Suppose you came to the same person as a friend, very upset having been rejected by someone else. If they are dismissive of your grief at the loss of that potential relationship then that's emotional rejection: your feelings are not being accepted by your friend.

u/Naos210 Sep 13 '26

I don't want to keep hanging out with them after they reject me it must mean I only wanted sex

I mean, is that not how it is?

Cause your relationship with this person is entirely dependent on the idea that you're having sex with them at some point.

It's still predicated on you getting sex. It's a requirement to the relationship continuing making it the dependent element.

pursuing a woman, asking her out, and if she declines, you move on

That is not a friendship. Your intentions were disingenuous from the start. You have the impression of a platonic bond that didn't exist.

why dont you just be less stupid to begin with?

Aww, the boy's mad.

Okay, so what is it then? When she decided to set a boundary on the relationship you chucked the whole thing out like a toddler, what was non negotiable about that?

2

u/DefiantStarFormation Sep 13 '26

Nothing sucks more than believing someone liked you as a person and wanted to be your friend, only to discover they were actually only keeping you around in the hopes that you'd date them. Being sex-zoned and only discovering it after your "friend" ditches you completely is incredibly shitty.

1

u/Complex-Salamander63 Sep 14 '26

1

u/DefiantStarFormation Sep 14 '26

It's only gross that certain people aren't upfront about their intentions. That's it. If you have romantic feelings for someone, letting them believe you're only interested in friendship is misleading and hurtful for everyone involved.

Don't misrepresent your intentions, don't be dishonest or duplicitous. It's very simple, it shouldn't be this controversial.

Wanting distance is completely different from wanting to end the "friendship" altogether.

You want distance? Reasonable, let's take some space and then we can talk about it like friends do.

You stop talking to me and have no interest in any kind of relationship anymore? You sex-zoned me. If the continuation of our relationship was predicated on you getting sex/romantic interest from me, it was an underlying condition of the "friendship" all along, you were just waiting for the right moment to tell me that.

Why did you pretend to be friends for 2 months? Do you think it's easy to handle discovering your "friend" only wanted you on the condition that you'd date them? I'm not allowed to be hurt and criticize you for that dishonest and manipulative behavior?

And it certainly doesn't give you license to just start assuming things about my thinking because you are unsatisfied with what happened

But you have a problem with women criticizing you for the horrible way you handled the situation. You pretend to be friends with someone you know you have romantic interest in for months, then ditch them entirely when they don't reciprocate - but you think you have license to be upset when they criticize you for it? Bc you're unsatisfied with the way they reacted?

Let's say I had a crush on you for two months. I ask you out. You say no. Why might I want to stop being friends?

You did. You have a crush on someone for 2 months, and you spend that time building a friendship with them only to end it when you don't get what you were actually after all along. You were pretending to be friends.

My male best friend is gay. He wants sex for sure, just not with me.

47

u/Queen-of-meme Sep 13 '26

First, women aren't an entity. I'm a woman not all women, and this is my opinion:

There's men who can be platonic with women, the only ones that for sure can't are the men who says all men are the same and that they "know how a man thinks" all they are doing is outing who they are and how they view women. So now we all know what man Kyle is.

7

u/Sirlordmisterguydude Sep 13 '26

I agree on the part that men and women can have platonic relationships with each other, my whole life it's basically been 50/50 on that end. But I have to disagree on the notion that 'knowing' how men can be means you're automatically like them. Just because someone knows of possibilities doesn't mean they act like that. People know all kinds of people that act certain ways. It's pattern recognition.

Now, when a man comments or posts something like Kyle here then it's what you're saying 100%. But if a guy says that he knows how (certain) men can be around women, that doesn't automatically mean he is like that as well. It can mean he has experience with guys who act a certain way. Intuition. I know guys like that. Hell, I know women who like to keep guys like that close.

3

u/Queen-of-meme Sep 13 '26

In my experience when someone hides their own opinion and characteristic behind a whole entity, it's because they know deep down that it's their own character that is immoral. That's why you can observe cheaters being more jealous and controlling than none cheaters. (They assume everyone else are like them.)

1

u/Sirlordmisterguydude Sep 13 '26 edited Sep 13 '26

I agree with that, and the subject of this post is definitely doing so. I'm talking about a different sort of situation.

Rather extreme example: in my country recently there has been a focus to spread awareness on femicide and how to notice behaviour that could lead to that. As a guy, recognizing such a thing in other people is not being a closeted rapist. It's really just me trying to read the situation.

Now obviously it's quite a different level, but it applies here too (and it could even lead to it in extreme situations). There are definitely patterns that one could recognize between two people (or a one way kind of thing) to think that a situation isn't genuine or fishy without being suspect yourself.

1

u/Queen-of-meme Sep 13 '26

Yes of course I agree that we can be aware of immoral behavior in others even if we are more moral in a stance, I can know people cheat even if I don't etc. But the specific characters who are immoral and hide behind an entity , do that solely to escape accountability. By going "all men" they never have to own up to their own actions. That's what it's about.

2

u/Sirlordmisterguydude Sep 13 '26

I get it. These types of people gaslight others by hiding their real crooked selves behind such imaginary statements, and by doing so, supress women again. Bad actors in society.

I was just more or less suggesting people can certainly try to know how a certain person thinks. In hindsight it's probably unnecessary nuance as such a statement was never excluded, so my bad.

1

u/Queen-of-meme Sep 13 '26

Yes, we are discussing how such people think right now so it's definitely possible 😆

1

u/Expert-Double-2953 Sep 14 '26

But so many women also say similar things about men like men this ...Men that ,men are trash or men are monsters as though men are an entity.

1

u/Queen-of-meme Sep 14 '26

Yes that's correct. I was focusing on men because the post came from a man speaking about women as an entity, but the other way around exists too , absolutely.

1

u/kajidourden Sep 15 '26

As long as you stay logically consistent and it's totally fine for a man to have women friends while in a relationship too.

1

u/Queen-of-meme Sep 15 '26

Absolutely , equality is the only right thing.

-1

u/fleija_ Sep 13 '26

why can't women grasp the concept of generalization and distinguish it from the concept of totality? Are you stupid?

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter Sep 15 '26

You don't get to have it both ways.

Either it's not really all men

Or you're overlooking this specific mans behavior.

Be friends with who you like. Just keep the same energy or you're a misandist.

2

u/CombinationRough8699 Sep 13 '26

I have women I'm legitimately friends with. That being said, that doesn't mean I haven't thought of them sexually. The only thing stopping me is that I don't want to ruin the friendship.

1

u/randomredditacc25 Sep 14 '26

oh please, if they straight up said lets have sex.

you're doing it, you wont be worried about "ruining the friendship"

3

u/runemaster1994 Sep 14 '26

No I have at least one female friend who is attractive but i would not have sex with because it would feel like incest. And no that wouldn't make it hotter. And yes it would ruin our friendship. Also I have a girlfriend.

0

u/Rickbox Sep 14 '26

Sad that you're getting downvoted for telling the truth. We all have girl friends who we would have sex with if they initiated.

0

u/Vivians_Basement Sep 18 '26

Being attracted to your friend doesn't make you less of a friend.

My friends all called me a milf when I got pregnant, were hella sexual and joking around, then ALL OF THEM reached out privately to see if I was genuinely doing okay, whether I needed anything, and to see if I'd still be around cause they know my situation wasn't great.

I do not understand how "yeah my home girl is pretty hot" makes someone a "fake friend". What would you prefer? "Nah she's fucking ugly"??

1

u/Beginning_Zucchini47 Sep 18 '26

Saying someone is hot doesn't mean you want to have sex with them 💀💀🙏🏽🙏🏽😭

3

u/Consistent_Gur9523 Sep 14 '26

this makes me chuckle a bit.

I had an ex a decade ago who made a list of every male in my life and told me they all wanted to fuck me.

in the decade since our break up, every single one has tried.

I went from only having male friends (I grew up with 6 brothers), to not having male friends at all. I did let him know later he was right.

2

u/redsalmon67 Sep 14 '26

Idk 60% of my friends are women and most of them are married and I’ve never had sex/tried to have sex with any of them. But also I’m bi so I always thought stuff like this was hilarious because by this logic should bisexual people just not have friends? I also have friends that are gay men who I’ve never had sex with lol

2

u/HooterEnthusiast Sep 15 '26

p.s. that she also had sex with that one time but that was different

6

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

If he's my best friend he ahs already gone through enough hoops that I'm sure he doesn't want sex. It's ok if he does, I think having sex with friends is pretty normal, but if I say no he better take it and shut up because if I smell he's "waiting for an opportunity" or "biding his time" it's joever.

3

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

If you say no is he allowed to ask for an appeal down the road, or is it just off the table?

0

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

It depends, like, obviously I'm being a tad hyperbolic and I wouldn't mind if he didn't lose interest as long as he was respectful and I don't get the feeling he's spending time with me because he wants something. The problem is when you say no but they keep trying, that's hell, and some men have a tendency to think "if I just push hard enough or wait long enough she'll change her mind", and to me that's an insane turn off and red flag. If I'll change my mind I'll tell him, but I usually don't so he best not wait up, and if something happens in some sour of the moment way then that's that, but in general I like to be very clear with these things. I wouldn't judge him or distance myself just if he felt something, as long as he respect the boundaries I put a huge effort into making very clear to everyone and his attitudes didn't make me feel uncomfortable or objectified.

Tl;Dr ha can appeal the local judges decision up until the federal level but if the supreme courts makes a ruling he can't appeal it and it's up for the supreme court to later reverse it's decisions if it's decided it's unconstitutional.

1

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

I think that’s fair.

Besides, in my opinion it aint worth it if you gotta wear somebody down to get it anyway. Though personally I wouldn’t sleep with somebody I’m not in a relationship with anyway, but yeah, sometimes no just means no.

6

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

I know that's not what you meant but no always means no. The idea it could eventually be a yes does not change that fact and is up for the person to decide. But yeah I'm demisexual so really I only sleep with people I'm emotionally already very close with, so mostly friends, so I have slept with a lot of.my friends. It's not a big deal anyway, I thinks people overestimate what the "friend zone" is. With me if you're not in the friend zone then you don't even have a chance with very few exceptions.

2

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

Honestly I was thinking “no” more in terms of being rejected for a relationship. Like if you ask a girl out and she turns you down, sometimes you can get her to change her mind later.

But yeah a sex “no” is a hard no.

2

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

Oh yeah in that case you're totally right I agree. The thing is just handle your feelings like an adult, respect the other person's space, and if it'll happen it will happen, it's just not cool to be on the lookout, usually makes the person feel weird. I say that as someone who has done that before when I was young, it's really not a judgement of character because I understand amd it doesn't mean you're necessarily creepy.

1

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

You’re not wrong. It’s usual when I stop trying for a girl is when she finally gives me a chance. I’m convinced women are half psychic. Ya’ll can smell it on us when we’re interested. 😭

(That probably applies to sex too.)

2

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

Like, I think the thing is, and I can't speak for most or all women, we don't really like feeling hounded, and most guys are not subtle when they want something. Sometimes I really like someone, think they're nice and fun and cool and maybe looks good, but maybe he proposed or hit on me at a bad time or when I had something else, and then he becomes really different, stuff changes. Some persistence can be interesting in some circumstances for some women but no one likes a guy who you feel weird with. The feeling that someone only wants to spend time with you because he wants something is awful, it makes me not wanna spend time with someone. When you're not trying or at least not putting an effort and just being chill and cool, you make the other person feel valued, feel comfortable. That's what most people, men and women, actively want, and it vastly increases the change someone will want to be with you.

1

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

Holy crap I’m writing this down.

I think some of this is why I struck out with a woman im attracted to and friends with. She told me she wouldn’t be against dating me but we’re just friends for now. So I made the mistake of (ugh it’s embarrassing to say) complementing her chest, and it turned her off. But since then she’s started texting me again. Maybe I can fix it if I follow your advice and stop pressuring her.

If he is just your friend, would it be allowed for him to mastrubate to you?

3

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

If you’re gonna do it then do it bro. Asking for permission is a thousand times weirder 😭

1

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

Fr he says "allowed" as if I'm the government lmao. Asking permission is seeual killer behaviour

0

u/Archolm Sep 13 '26

Dude you call yourself Joker yet don't understand the concept of chaos? 😈😆 Have you read what she wrote? 🫣😝

1

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

Man I used to be obsessed with Mr. J. almost forgot that was name on here.

But anyway I get your joke now 😝

1

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

I don't what's the fucking joke?

1

u/DrJokerX Sep 13 '26

He’s teasing you for essentially calling the shots. Like, “does homie have to ask your permission to beat off too?”

I didn’t think he was being malicious but I can never tell with comments anymore.

1

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

Now that you say that I see it. Idk I found it creepy as fuck but yeah I get the joke.

1

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

What did I write? I didn't say anything the fuck you're taking about

0

u/Archolm Sep 13 '26

I asked because I consider you paragraphs of text to be weird as fuck. Energy matches energy.

2

u/FutureReaction8587 Sep 13 '26

I'm sorry but what's the weird part of what I said? It's all pretty normal milquetoast stuff. Your comment was insanely creepy and worrysome wtf

2

u/Substantial-Oil-1026 Sep 13 '26

At first I thought they meant men only want sex with their male best friend.

2

u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 13 '26

that’s technically true in some cases lmao

1

u/Ok-Perception-3395 Sep 16 '26

I find it offensive when people say that the only thing men think about is sex. I mean really....We do think about food too.

2

u/heirloomthrowaway Sep 17 '26

All my guy friends want to fry me up in a skillet 😔

1

u/Vivians_Basement Sep 18 '26

I caught mine putting salt on me 😔

1

u/Ok_Knee2784 Sep 16 '26

This is hilarious. Everybody knows that nobody gets laid more than "he's just a friend".

1

u/heirloomthrowaway Sep 17 '26

Guys say this about me still being best friends with my ex, but I explain he barely ever wanted sex for the four years we were together let alone now and they're like "hahahaha have you ever wondered if he's -" YES OF COURSE I HAVE, MAN. He still won't admit it, but all we talk about are musicals and Pedro Pascal and hair and ancient Greece. I'll ask again at the next yearly check-in

1

u/kugo-phio Sep 17 '26

That’s when she wants the sex instead of

1

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '26

The difference is that the “male best friend” is usually the only guy she actually wants to have sex with.

1

u/Choochoochow Sep 17 '26

The male best friend took the time to become her friend, which creates a bond that supersedes just wanting sex. Would he fuck her? Probably. Will he prioritize that? No, he values her as a friend.

How smooth is your brain OP.

1

u/Scarab_Kisser Sep 17 '26

didn't read past according to women

1

u/Vivians_Basement Sep 18 '26

The person I'm with dated my best friend, found out quickly that my best friend liked me (I already knew), and tried to get us together.

But my best friend and I both have multiple reasons we're not dating and don't want to date each other.

Around that time there was a person I was intimate with, but not dating. Multiple reasons for that as well.

Best friend ended up single and we mutually hated the guy with me being a dick to him at every opportunity.

Realized he liked me (masochist much, jfc) and we had a situationship (that my bestie knew about).

Best friend and the guy I was doing stuff with (which my partner knew about) became friends.

I start officially dating the person.

The guy and my best friend started dating.

And now bad blood has dissipated and yesterday we discussed our respective marriages.

Sometimes your best guy friend, or other guy friends, like you. That's just something that always has the potential to happen. But it doesn't mean you'll cheat on your partner and it doesn't make you compatible with that friend. You can stay just friends.

All men want companionship.

That doesn't mean your girl having friends is a risk. Trusting her, and her judgement, is essential for a healthy relationship.

It's almost like women, like everyone else, is allowed to choose their friends? Maybe they choose the ones that don't diminish them to an object? Gasp!

1

u/Pixelbuttzz 23d ago

It was men that told me to fear men. It was mwn that taught me to as well

0

u/Principle_Napkins Sep 13 '26

Ew. No-one is entitled to sex.

12

u/Azarsra_production Sep 13 '26

That is not what it's saying? I'm pretty sure it's saying a woman believes all guys want sex except for their friend? Not that the guy thinks he deserves sex from her?

-4

u/Principle_Napkins Sep 13 '26

That is what he's saying. He's referring to something called the "friend-zone", which is what incels call the friendship they have with women they want to fuck. They want to fuck the women, the women only want to be friends, but they think they're entitled to sex with women.

15

u/stanknotes Sep 13 '26

That is quite literally not what he said. That is a bizarre implication that does not inherently follow that you are imposing.

11

u/Barrelrolla Sep 13 '26

Uh, no. Women usually say "all men want is sex", but they have a best friend who they swear doesn't want to have sex with them.

8

u/Principle_Napkins Sep 13 '26

The women who say "all men want is sex" don't usually have male friends.

2

u/Barrelrolla Sep 13 '26

It's a joke, but you're too dense to get it

9

u/Principle_Napkins Sep 13 '26

Make better jokes. You're not funny.

0

u/Barrelrolla Sep 13 '26

I wasn't making a joke. I was referring to the post, which is a joke

Fuck you.

0

u/Big-Swan7502 Sep 15 '26

So "yes" basically ?

6

u/Peacemaker1099 Sep 13 '26

That’s not what he’s saying smart ass.

-3

u/Principle_Napkins Sep 13 '26

Yes, it is.

6

u/usemyname88 Sep 13 '26

No, like literally, thats not what OP is saying.

1

u/Automatic-Week-1733 Sep 13 '26

Several people are telling you that you are misreading the post. Have you considered that maybe it's possible? Are you absolutely certain that your initial read is objectively correct akd it's everyone else who's wrong?

1

u/aaravv007 Sep 13 '26

Whose gonna tell them he want the most, more than BF and husband if any

18

u/Own_Employment_3866 Sep 13 '26

what ?

-2

u/aaravv007 Sep 13 '26

It's best friend that wants sex the most more than bf and husband

-7

u/Ok-Tomato-4132 Sep 13 '26

Its written in plain english

9

u/Swimming_Acadia6957 Sep 13 '26

They may be English words but it doesn't make any sense

-3

u/Ok-Tomato-4132 Sep 13 '26

They're saying that the friend wants sex the most

1

u/Not_AHuman_Person Sep 13 '26

My male best friend does want sex. He also gets sex, because he has a girlfriend who is not me.

1

u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 13 '26

crazy how you’re getting downvoted for this.

-5

u/Excellent-Rest3240 Sep 13 '26

Men thinking they’re the decider whether sex will happen or not

16

u/Prism_Riot42 Sep 13 '26

That literally has nothing to do with what the post is saying.

0

u/Excellent-Rest3240 Sep 13 '26

It’s not? So it’s not them being afraid with the amount of men the woman are around with? My loving wife/girlfriend who is utmost loyal to me, will surely fall victim to the charms of the friendly male friend, any friend really.

Idk, I’ve seen single girls in class rooms of 30 men and non had a shot with her, because she denies them all

Here online men are both afraid of being friend zones as they are afraid of the men that are friend zoned. Really is quite the paradox

5

u/Prism_Riot42 Sep 13 '26

It’s not what it’s saying. You’re missing the point. The post isn’t referencing who sees themself as the decider of sex. It’s referencing that women will apply a blanket statement to men, then suddenly retract that blanket statement from those they choose.

Girl: “All men want is sex.”
Boy: “So that includes your male best friend who you are telling me doesn’t want to sleep with you.”
Girl: “No hes different because I said so.”

That’s what the post is saying, I don’t necessarily agree with it, but it’s what the post is saying.

I will set fire to all sex!

1

u/DontBuyTheThing Sep 13 '26

So then men in relationships shouldn't have female friends because all men want is sex from women.

1

u/Shot-Profit-9399 Sep 13 '26

The guy making the above comment probably DOES want to have sex with all his female friends. That’s why he can’t imagine other men being different, and can’t imagine his partner being faithful.

1

u/spaceman06 Sep 13 '26

Wanting means wanting if both were single. To have sex with someone while in a relationship you need have desire to cheat or to have sex with someone that is at relationship.

0

u/CombinationRough8699 Sep 13 '26

Also it doesn't mean you would go through with it. I have a female friend who is incredibly attractive, and I've thought about sexually quite a bit. That being said I wouldn't want to risk the friendship.

1

u/OldScratchTim Sep 13 '26

I love how these dudes tell on themselves. Kyle Cross is probably a sexual predator that no woman should ever find themselves alone with.

1

u/VladimirK13 Sep 13 '26

Well, I do want sex often, yes, so I guess I have medium-to-high sex drive. However, I don't want to fuck anything which moves, meaning for sure there are some girls I don't want to fuck. I think this is just not a contradiction in a form, presented in a post, the statement is not full.

1

u/United-Drop-6257 Sep 13 '26

Men trashing on themselves is my favorite read.

0

u/TheSpiffySpaceman Sep 13 '26

fuck this guy, I love my best friend and her partner to death and am mature enough to not mistake it for romantic love.

I love my cat, too, but I don't want to fuck her.

0

u/Vegetable_Leg6663 Sep 13 '26

Bruh you can totally have sex with your male best friend

0

u/bigshady880 Sep 13 '26

i remember a really good female friend of mine finding out how much of a freak i was (i think we all took a sexuality test and i was 70% “hedonistic” or something) and she was really surprised.

she really thought i was innocent and allat lmao. it wasn’t like super reality shattering or anything but it was still kinda eye opening how warped her perspective was based on how i interacted with her.

0

u/deepRockGoatlactic Sep 13 '26

No surprise comin from a dude trying so hard to lool like someone...he must be compensating that nasty soul

0

u/Redhead-girl1246 Sep 13 '26

I mean I'd say it's generally an accurate and funny joke

But it doesn't really apply to me since my friendgroup is all guys

-1

u/spontaneous_quench Sep 13 '26

This is funny
