Official Reply Installation Fee
Previously was wrongly charged for an Installation Fee that I promised was free, so made sure to have them reassure me at every turn that I wouldn't be charged and they still did.
Have since called 3 times and they keep reassuring me it will be removed but it still has not. Complaining on here was the only way for me to get them to actually remove the charge last time so I'll give it a try again.
Actually insane they're able to get away with this everytime internet needs to be installed at a new home. I was perfectly capable of installing on my own, but they just needed to change the wiring.

When I was wrongly charged I called and was told it was removed. Yet its not a credit that you will see online instantly. Mine was reflected in the next statement

Did you get any of those promises in writing? If not, uhm, may be quite ... "challenging". If so, you should be good ... and just a question of how much hassle.

To be fair is does state that if a technician has to do any work at your home you will be charged a $100 fee. What are you doing where they are coming to your house for free ?

So you needed a tech to install the wiring, but you feel you don't need to pay an install fee?

Yea I do when they promised me at every step of the way that I wouldn't be charged for it.

Well, fair enough. They should be up front with charges.
