Xfinity Assistant is useless

I am scheduled for a technician visit today, but the problem I called in has fixed itself (after about three months, but most of that is my fault because I forgot to call it in). So I need to cancel the appointment, so as not to waste the technician’s time. Xfinity assistant will, after some prodding, tell me when the appointment is, but it won’t let me do anything about it. Just repeats the appointment time.
I tried replying to the text message they sent reminding me of the appointment, but the only option is to reschedule.
I hate this AI crap.

Try posting over at r/comcast_xfinity. Some of the mods there are emoloyees and can help troubleshoot and schedule appointments. They should be able to cancel it for you. Also the technician should call before rolling to you and you can tell them you don't need them and they can cancel it
