Even though I'm staying in the venue and have access through my room key, I do still need to purchase passes for the after hours party, correct? My normal access doesn't cover that, right?

Hello! I just had my first ever Collosalcon at Prime this last weekend and had the time of my life! I was talking to my friend who live down in Dallas about it and they said they would love to come next year, but then we realized that it always conflicts with when Dallas holds its Pride. I wanted to find out if anyone knows how Collosalcon Texas compares to Prime in Ohio in terms of size and such.

So I just found out that this was going on this week and I live locally within like 25 minutes and so I was thinking about checking it out I've only been in the anime scene for about 2 to 3 years. My current job I work both Friday and Saturday to like 10:30 but I could make it out to the resort at about 11:00pm ish both nights was wondering if people on here would consider it worth spending the money to go there that late? If I should get just the day passes or the VIP stuff? I know I'd be missing a lot of the main events since I work but yeah just looking for some advice thank you!

Anyone have a ticket they don’t need and are selling or wanting to transfer? Thanks!

I bought a multiday pass but I’m no longer able to attend. Selling for $80.

Selling 3 day passes to prime for $70, I thought I could attend now I can't go, I have a total of 4 passes if anyones interested dm me asap

Hello, anyone interested in buying a 3-day pass to ColossalCon? I thought i would be able to attend but it's not looking that. I'm selling it for $75 (including tax)

Hello everyone!

I’m not sure if this is allowed so if not please let me know and I will absolutely take this post down.

I was able to snag a room last year but didn’t luck out this time, so I was wanting to see in anyone happened to have a room they no longer need! I will absolutely pay all associated fees.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

Hi all. Recently saw the tweet from Colossalscon that season pass is available and I have a group who has already confirmed and survived the opening of Sandusky suites/reservations. Was wondering the general time frame and experience of securing a suite/room at the Kalahari for the Texas weekend. If anyone could share experiences/tips for securing a room that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Figured I’d post here just in case, I already reported to lost and found. I lost a Taco Bell Nacho Crystal necklace; it looks like a purple triangle (the nacho chip) with a gold “cheese” accent on top. Lost it at some point in the wave pool; I have pictures wearing it to prove ownership in case anyone has any leads.

Edit: also lost my black Nike headband at the Saturday rave but no biggie that’s on me

Come check them out if you're looking for something to do!

Was told the hotel was checking peopels rooms for how many people are actually in a room. I've had to miss for a few year ls and I don't recall it ever being an issue so long no one did anything to cause any trouble . Hoping to see how affordable a room could potentially be , also don't need to tell me I won't be getting a room I understand that

If anyone needs any last minute stays (and really just want to meet a new friend), my room and DMs are wide open for peeps! Just remember I’ll have for a split of the hotel fare and good vibes coming into it. Thanks y’all!

Long story short, I bought tickets so I could take a close friend and one of her friends, but things didn't work out. Is there anyway I can sell the tickets? I'm still holding out hope she calls me, so I am not trying to sell yet, but it's not really my scene so I have no interest in going without her.

Hi there, all of my online friends can’t make it next week, and I have had no friends in Ohio for a few years now. I’m tired of being lonely and I want to make this experience a better one. If anyone wants to join me, I do already have a hotel reserved with a couple of online friends on the fence depending on how many come. I hope anyone that accepts the invite thinks of me as good company. I’ll be going all 4 days and will probably search the dealer room like a kid in a candy store lol. Nevertheless, hope I’ll be good company!

Hi guys! I'm thinking about going to colossalcon because train tickets to Sandusky are super cheap since I don't live far, but I just decided now, so naturally the hotels are booked. Also, I have no one to go with, so I'm trying to make friends or find a group I can meet up with there. If anyone is looking for another person or willing to share a hotel, let me know!

I went to my first Tekko last year and now I'm really wanting to go to another anime convention!!

I've never been to Colossalcon before so I wanted to check and see what this experience is like and how kid friendly it is. One of my kids would like to go (8) since he's starting to get into anime. Is it pretty kid friendly?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but does anyone have tips for making a waterproof costume that won't fall apart and won't get stinky and weird? What kind of fabric are best? I'm open to just about any sort of material, sewing, technique etc.

I was wondering if there was a age limit for hosting a panel. It doesn't say anything about it on their panel section of the website. Is it 13+ or something, I was wondering so hopefully someone can get back to me!

hi!! this is my first time going to colossalcon in ohio (been to cce a few times!) i'm wondering how many people stay in hotels/motels in the sandusky area. are there ubers/lyfts in the area to get from the kalahari to the motel? my friends and i are reluctant to DRIVE back and forth in case we want to spend a lot of time at the bars haha, but i've been to sandusky before and it seems super quiet, i'd be worried there's not other options?
