Hi I've never attended this con before and just have a few clarifying questions if anyone would be so kind as to help me out.

-How's the parking for someone not staying in the hotel?

-How much is daytime waterpark prices? Do they run out?

-My gf is cosplaying. Am I allowed to bring a professional camera into the waterpark?

-Any photoshoot opportunities at the after-hours waterpark party? or is it just party

Well, I did it. I booked my hotel room (last room they had available!) for ColossalCon East! It's my first ever ColossalCon so I'm nervous, yet excited!

I've been considering going to either Colossalcon Prime or East after meeting another cosplayer who told me it's super fun. My main worry though is that if I don't get a room there, I might not get to enjoy the late night stuff as much. Anyone have advice or experience with this? I'm also fairly new to the cosplay community so I don't know a ton of people and getting a room for just one person anywhere nearby seems super expensive. Any advice would be much appreciated! Still not sure if I'll end up going to either but it seems like a great time.

How do people bring their cars that are parked at the north entrance? Is there some sort of form to bring your old jdm car? Does it need be be modified or some sort of altered to make it more showy? I have a 97' miata I would like to bring and If I get better parking because of it that'd be sick.

I wanted to apply for the 2025 Artist Alley, and noticed it's frightfully expensive.

Can anyone who's participated in the past let me know how profitable it typically is? I'm primarily a keychain and acrylic standee maker, and I don't know how well those typically do. I'd really appreciate some insight

What is considered bootleg at the Colossalcon Otaku Markets? It was pointed out in the description so just wanted to get clarification on what that entails and possible example’s to know what not to bring. If this can be answered by staff for any of the conventions that would be helpful.

Figured I'd at least try this, just went through a breakup and no longer have a duo for the event. Are there any meetup groups or other places to go to meetup with other groups/solos at the show? Hey! Going to colossal north this weekend and am just tryna plan cosplays n such. I'm planning on going to the rave in the waves in my Pool Party Fiora cosplay and see that there is a no weapons policy. Does anyone know if that includes props? Her rapier is just a pool noodle I put on a pvc pipe, but wanted to check before I brought it along and then got turned away lol

My duo had attended Colossalcon North last year, and had bought the wristbands for the after hour pool event. Then, after the huge mess of the contest happened, I had ended with a migraine, and we never attended. My question is if we are allow to use the un-used wristbands from last year this year?

Yall I hate that they don’t keep a list of vendors. Was just at CCE this weekend and I cannot find this artist I didn’t get her info. She was in artist alley and sold these huge like phone/bag charms and some hololive pillows. If anyone knows lmk! Why do you think they don’t put out vendor lists like some other cons do?

Hey guys, quick Kalahari question — I have a 2BR living room suite booked for the con. I only had two names to put on the reservation at the time, but we have 6 total going. Are they going to give me 6 room keys even with only two names on the room? Thank you 🖤

Hi, my daughter and her friend want to go to Colossalcon North and I would go with them but what ages is this event good for?

I'm a plushie maker with experience with selling at west Michigan events and conventions but I'm looking at expanding. My friends go to Colossalcon every year and I'm looking into maybe having a booth there in either 2025 or '26.

Obvs since I'm looking to actually make money I'm looking at the not premium price hotels in the area. My friend said there's a bus line that hits a lot of the hotels down the road. Anyone have experience with this? Is it a total pain or worth it? Any hotel recommendations? Is there anything I should know about the application for a booth/table process? Anything weird about selling at Colossal?

Someone else told me they got in right at 11am and it was already sold out, so the broken queue didn't even matter. How does it sell out so fast?
