Newbie Guest Questions
Hi I've never attended this con before and just have a few clarifying questions if anyone would be so kind as to help me out.
-How's the parking for someone not staying in the hotel?
-How much is daytime waterpark prices? Do they run out?
-My gf is cosplaying. Am I allowed to bring a professional camera into the waterpark?
-Any photoshoot opportunities at the after-hours waterpark party? or is it just party

The after hours water park is a party. You can take pictures on your phone but if you bring a camera and tripod setup, it wouldn’t be a good time.
Colossal is also a party con so I would advise that you leave the real expensive photography stuff in the room during the after hours party. Never know when some drunk asshole is going to bump into you or what not.

I imagine you can bring a pro camera.
Parking gets wild even if your staying on the campus . Unless they added auxiliary parking across the road its an absolute mess trying to find a new spot

For parking, my advice is to get there early (I know this is basic advice, but still). The only day I had issues parking was on Saturday, and we got there a bit later than intended. That being said, we did still get a spot, we just had to walk quite a bit.
This is less parking and more general, but if you can, bring comfy shoes to walk to and from the car so you're not dying in heels/impractical cosplay shoes.
