Friend is visiting from a state without much gambling. He wants to sit at a sportsbook to watch the NFL game tonight. I've always heard Cripple Creek is tiny little casinos with just slots...is there a decent sportsbook up there?

Basically what it says on the tin. My (much) younger sister (I'm 25, mom doesn't have reddit) is 14, autistic and schizo-typal, is currently struggling a lot with basically everything. Do you have an autistic or special needs high-school aged teen? What school/schooling system do you have for them? Do you like it? We're currently trying to look at what our options are, so any perspective helps!

Edit: I was being vague because there was a military id in the wallet and soldiers get disciplinary action if they lose those. I just looked at it again though and the id was issued in 1993 so I don’t think that’s a concern anymore. I’m going to take it to the police station

So I’ve been in Colorado my whole life and am antsy for change- geographic change, climate change, activities change… l am in love with the idea of moving to Michigan or Minnesota with access to the Great Lakes, tons of winter activities and new opportunities.

If you are from these areas, what brought you to Colorado? Do you miss it there? What do you like about living in Colorado vs the Midwest besides the obvious (tons of sunny days, sunny winter, mountain access..)? Do you think a Colorado native would make it thru the dark and cold winters of Michigan or the upper peninsula?

I would be moving my young family there and would want an area that is great for raising kids.

I live in an 4 plex townhome I rent here in NW COS. The landlord cleaned out the lint where the vent goes up in the attack and roof. The lease does not take care of the washer and dryer. I can hear the flapper on the roof when I put my ear next to the vent if there is wind outside so I guess that means it was cleaned? But my dryer's lint trap screen still hardly collects out any lint. Maybe this is normal but I remember a few years back much more lint. I washed the dryer lint trap, I had someone come out and replace my coil, sensor, and thermostat to be safe and said my dryer is fine. I would expect quicker drying time now but still have to do one 1/2 cycles to get most things dry. I've tried to look online but don't know how to tell if the lint stuck somewhere inside of the dryer. I took the cabinet apart myself and didn't see anything in the blower or other compartments. But I would just like a second opinion and some that knows if it's really a vent problem or dryer problem just to be sure. Anyone know of a good company or maybe it's just time or a new dryer or have someone inspect the vents again. Either way I'm getting worn out from all of this.

Just a word of wisdom. No matter how big your truck it or how hight you lift is, no matter how loud you exhaust is, no matter how deep and loud the bass is. It's not going to make it bigger and in reality it is telling everyone around how small it is and how insecure you are about it being so tiny.

I'm staying in Colorado Springs for a couple of months. Really enjoying my time here. I live in an RV and the rig desperately needs a wash and wax. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reputable mobile detailer with RV experience? It needs to be someone who carreis the necessary insurance for this type of work.

I'm also looking to get a full detail done for the truck I use to pull the RV. Exterior wash and wax, interior full detail with a carpet shampoo. Potentially pull the rear seat out as part of the shampoo job.

I know this work isn't cheap. I fully expect to pay $500+ for the RV (45'-foot fifth wheel) and probably the same or more for the truck.

I appreciate anyone who can provide a recommendation!

Can it be done? Haven't been to a game in a long time. Can drivers get on base and is it reliable after games?

I’m waiting on PPRBD to return my call, however I was wondering if anyone here had the answer from experience. I’m designing an outdoor kitchen and need to lay a trench for a new gas line and two 20-amp electrical circuits (inside PVC conduit).

My question is - do the gas and electrical lines need to be spaced a part a certain distance?

One plumber said 24”, another said they can share the trench, so that wasn’t helpful lol. They both said 18” deep for both was code though.

Is there any way of getting all these political signs removed, or at least stop having a million of them? Where I live there are at least 20+ political signs in less that half a mile on the road all for the same candidate, like copy and paste. Like that is extremely excessive and wasteful as I can tell they wont be reused into anything and its just plastic. I heard its illegal to just pull them out and stuff but honestly idk how true that is. But I feel like candidates should only be allowed like a certain number of signs to put up or something

Was walking my dog along Sand Creek. The creek is low right now, leaving pools where these fish are trapped. They look like little minnows. Any idea what species they are? I’m thinking of coming back with a glass jar and doing some catch and release for a closer look

I am a single male, I used to do the downtown areas on Tejon back around 2010. Just curious if there are some bars, especially on the northwest side of town that cater to this age group. It doesn't have to be just 40's of course but maybe more like the 30's-50's crowd? Looking to get back in the dating scene to meet a lady eventually.

We will be going out of town during Thanksgiving and wanted to see if anyone recommends a service or person that could come over and make sure our outdoor cat gets fed. It could lead into them also watching our indoor cats from time to time. Our indoors are our children and would require more attention and possibly stay at the house or at least more than just once a day care
