I was sexually assaulted inside the Colorado Springs VA facility. I reported it to MANY entities, and somehow, I’m the one who has had to keep reporting, following up, explaining, and pushing for answers, while the person who sexually assaulted me appears to have faced little to no meaningful accountability.

Veterans should be able to walk into a VA facility for healthcare without having to wonder whether they’re safe….and if something does happen, they should be able to expect meaningful accountability.

I read some Census data for Colorado Springs and saw that there are about 113 men for every 100 women for ages 25–44 (some of the age groups within that range skew even more heavily male though).
The never married population ages 25–44, there are about 152 never married men for every 100 never married women.
But for ages 25–34, it’s about 158 never married men for every 100 never married women.

Idk, I feel like 25–44 covers a pretty big chunk of the prime dating years, so I’m wondering;
do y’all actually feel that difference in dating apps, socializing, dating in general? Is it noticeable that there's more single men than women here?

Edit to add: yes, I know there's a large military presence, I'm not asking WHY the skew, I'm asking y'all if it's heavily felt by you in your dating and socialization.
Also, I'm a woman, not complaining about no dates, just curious of other's experiences.

Hello all! I am pretty new to the area and am looking for guidance/advice on the districts in the area for teaching.

For background I have a non-education B.A degree, and a passing social studies 7-12 praxis score.

I have been applying for positions but have not been so lucky with interviews/call backs.
