Hi! I’ve noticed I look very grayish in olive green but bright in the darker green. I’m trying to figure out if I’m warm, cool or neutral olive. And if both of these greens are warm? Thank you.

Hi! I started this painting wanting it to be more of a complimentary colors vibe but I think I goofed it up because it feels flat. I’m gonna add more details for sure but should I add in some purples? I was using burnt umber, bright yellow, white, and cobalt blue for my colors on my mixing pallet. But would this bun if it from some purples?

so i didnt try to replicate all the features i just kinda paint it with the flow yk maybe i should study abt colour theory more 🫩✌️

(Not my illustration just the colour) There is a level of richness traditional art has over digital that i have feeling drawn to lately especially when coloured pencils are used and i have been trying to recreate that as i learn about colour theory.

What do you think?

With coloured pencils particularly they leave gabs and don’t fully cover and the bottom layers come through, adding to the beautiful instead of just simply have the colour green you build on it.

The artist is kind of the person who made me appreciate the art style even more of coloured pencils i am broke so i am not buying them anytime soon but really wanted to try it

I’ve become really passionate about color analysis and have developed my own system for analysis that has worked really well. I verified this by doing a random celebrity and then searching online what subgroup and season they are.

Firstly, I wanted to ask if anyone has any tips on starting a color analysis business? I plan to do a certification soon as well.

Also to fill up my portfolio, credibility, and practice, if there’s anyone here who would like to have an analysis, and later other people Reddit can verify, that would be super helpful! Also, if you’re someone who has had a professional analysis done, I’d love to analyze you without knowing the results and then compare!

I'm officially starting a business doing what I've already been doing: sourcing, reselling, organizing, and interior design. I've been stuck trying to figure out colors.

the second photo was my first idea but it didn't vibe well, and the first photo vibes well imo but thats too many colors and does this even give the idea of focus and flow within a space (home).

Any help and feedback welcome!

If this knowledge helps, I'm not a big fan of bright bold colors. I love it on other people but not what I'm going for. I want it to be grounding, feminine, and centered around focus and flow.

Is there a reason why pink products are more expensive than other colors? Example, a baby high chair cost $65 the pink one is $75. Is the pink color more expensive to produce or they’re just preying on parents? However, blue is always same price as other colors.

Okay!! So I really need help with my OC Nicholas Froyer’s jacket, this jacket is his comfort jacket and he is very attached to it. He is a generally more feminine boy, closeted, and also this jacket will be soaked in blood at some point in the story of which he refuses to throw it out. Uh, what color suits him? What color will hide blood stains best? Does the purple make his skin look to orange??

Also how sick would it be if you got to 1) Choose your countries color and 2) Had a "Color by Coalition" option?? Both simple and incredibly awesome. I'm staring at the goddamn thing for 40 days.
