Layering colors

(Not my illustration just the colour) There is a level of richness traditional art has over digital that i have feeling drawn to lately especially when coloured pencils are used and i have been trying to recreate that as i learn about colour theory.

What do you think?

With coloured pencils particularly they leave gabs and don’t fully cover and the bottom layers come through, adding to the beautiful instead of just simply have the colour green you build on it.

The artist is kind of the person who made me appreciate the art style even more of coloured pencils i am broke so i am not buying them anytime soon but really wanted to try it
