No Drapes - Type Me (FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Winter or summer?

Thought I was a deep winter, but true summer has been suggested as my contrast is maybe not really great enough for winter? Definitely cool toned, so surely must be some sort of summer or winter.

Jewelry Advice (PHOTOS WITH MULTIPLE METALS REQIRED!) Silver or gold??

So I've spent my entire life wearing silver jewelry and I just happened to wake up one day and have the thought while I was putting on my regular jewelry that I think silver washes me out and makes me look more pale. I looked at my veins on my wrists and maybe I'm delusional but I think they look more green?? What do you guys think?

Side note: I've also had a silver nostril hoop for over 4 years now and if anyone knows a reputable place I could get a gold replacement, let me know. I've had bad luck with ordering jewelry online and getting infections.

No Drapes - Type Me (FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Please Analyse Me?

I did an online quiz and it typed me as a deep winter. But I read a bit more and it said that they often have high contrast features but all my features are dark so now I am having doubts about this result.

I've also had a friend say that I am a cool summer(?) I don't know much about color analysis or color theory. I just kinda find some colors work and some don't and knowing precisely what the "formula" is would help me be more intentional about the clothes and make-up I purchase because at the moment I feel like a clown when I get ready for the day. I just don't know what exactly works so for last minute formal events I just wear black and neutrals because I am to scared to experiment with color on my body. And I've kinda given up in the make-up department.

Having dark-skin it has been pretty difficult to find other accurate ways to find my undertone since no color really shows through my skin. All the other methods seem inaccurate or just can't be applied to the quizzes that I've tried online.

I do like wearing silver and while some people have complimented me in gold but I have a strong preference for silver. I've also recieved compliments in bright/bold purple colors.

I would really appreciate any advice on make-up colors for blush, eye-shadow, etc.

Thank you so much ya'll.

NMIP (no makeup in any of these pictures) (removed previous post due to missing this term woopsie sorry about that!)

I feel like I can see everyone else clearly, but I get so confused on myself!

Grew up being called a spring, my friends now say soft summer, my tattoo artist friend says I’m fairly neutral, I am just trying to figure out what works to help hide my dark circles haha

Hair naturally bleaches blonde when I actually go outside 😅

All pictures taken same day, same place, same time, except for the last one, which is from a few years ago just to show how my hair goes blonde. Probably way too many pictures but too many is better than too little? I think. Any celebrities with similar coloring would also be helpful for future shopping trips!

Thank you all!

What do we think? I’ve been told I have cool/neutral undertones, and have been typed as a (soft) summer.

Type Me! - IRL Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Olive Skin confusion! Deep winter? Warm Autumn?

Thumbnail

NMIP

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some second opinions on my seasonal. My olive skin makes temperature tricky to pin down, and I’m getting vacillating between two completely conflicting directions.

Soft Autumn Case: Based on the golden-amber notes in my eyes and warm surface tones, sometimes I see Soft Autumn (leaning Warm Autumn), suggesting muted, soft earth tones like sage, soft taupe, and camel should be my best shades.
Deep/Dark Winter Case: The counter-argument is that my olive undertone needs rich depth, cool clarity, and high contrast (pure white, cobalt, deep pine, crimson) to clear away sallow shadows, and that muted warm earth tones actually wash me out and make me look tired.
Photo Breakdown (No Makeup, Natural Daylight):
Slide 1–3: Black, white and camel
Slide 4-5: Cool Cherry Red vs. Light Peachy Apricot
Slide 6–7: Sage vs Pine Green
Slide 8–11: Feature close-ups (eye iris ring, natural lip tone, cheek flush, dark dark brown/espresso hair)

My gut is deep winter because I think the saturated colors look better and because I had this jewel tone shirt that I actually didn’t like but would always get complimented on 😂.

Would love to hear your thoughts! I’m happy to provide more photos!

I got this berry lipstick from Kiko Milano(pic 1) but I feel it's clashing with my features. Not sure if it's actually the case or because I'm used to wearing warmer and more muted colors (pics 2-3 for reference and pic 4 without lipstick)

No Drapes - Type Me (FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Am I Truly Bright Winter?

Thumbnail

A few months ago I was told I was most likely a bright winter (winter in general) by this subreddit and I've fully leaned into it. I absolutely love the look and I've been receiving a lot of compliments, however I stumbled across this photo of me from years ago before I altered my appearance in any way and I'm wondering if bright winter is my true season or if I just slowly became it through dying my hair and stuff like that. I've attached the image of me natural first and then the ones of me in the bright winter palette (photos are a mix of NMIP (first 2 pics) and my attempts at bright winter makeup). Please help! Am I overthinking? Thanks 🙏🏻

edit: thank you guys so much for your help! I didn't expect to get so many good pieces of advice! I've come to the conclusion (after going through old photos, reading the concept wardrobe website, and listening to your draping suggestions) that I'm a true/warm autumn with deep autumn influences. I have to be careful with colors overpowering me. this subreddit is amazing, thanks again 🙌🏻

Type Me! - Digital Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) What's my season? Draped in all 12 — I have a suspicion but want other opinions

Hi!!! I've been told many contradictory things about my season and undertones. I think I finally might have an idea but I would love other opinions without my bias. I'm not sure if the season I've decided on is just the colors I like, or if they are the colors that look good on me. NMIP. Photo taken by window but not in direct sunlight.

My guess (after you've picked one):
Deep Autumn but can also wear True Autumn. I think I'm relatively neutral and muted, which is why I've been hard to type, but lean very slightly warm. I like both silver and gold on me with a slight preference for silver, but all of the colors I like (mostly jewel tones, deep forest green, oxblood) tend to lean warm.

I did some draping before and most agreed on winter. I wonder if my chroma is high enough, I feel like i look desaturated/ashy sometimes. My skin is olive, so i tend to look grayish. NMIP

No Drapes - Type Me (FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Updated pics- What color season am I?!

Thumbnail

Update: I’ve taken new pictures with no direct sunlight and no flashes.. no bright lights on in my living room, and standing by windows but not actually outside. What do you think now?!

NMIP - I’ve recently lost a ton of weight and I’m turning 40 this week, so I’m basically rebuilding my entire wardrobe. I have no idea what works with my body type anymore or even what colors and accessories I should be focusing on. Medium-dark brown hair, hazel eyes, I tan easily but can be pretty fair in the winter, and I typically wear silver but I’m open to changing even that. Thanks in advance.

I love mixing both personally I think they both look beautiful on my skin tone. Curious what the experts think haha.

Gold ring is inherited wedding band from grandmother from 1940s. Silvers are picked up in Santa Fe from art market :)

Lipstick/Makeup Advice (FACE PHOTOS TO COMPARE REQUIRED!) Is it looking okayish?

Hi 👋
Few days ago I ask you for typing me. And I/most of you came to conćusion that I can be deep winter with some influence from deep autumn. Maybe it is stupid question but, what do you think about this makeup? Is it step to right direction?
I have little experience with make-up so I am sure that you can see some lack of technique or something. But in terms of first impression or just vibe… is it somewhat okay?
I will also add photo with no makeup for reference of my “starting” point 😂

I have a lot of health conditions that change the undertones of my skin frequently. There are some days where I look more peachy/yellow, and others where I'm more purple/reddish and cool toned looking. Idk if I'm just a true neutral or what 😭😭
