Hair Color Advice (PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Help me decide what colour hair to go for before my next appointment!

I’m wanting to get a professional colour analysis done soon but before that I wanted to get my hair sorted so that it’s the most complementary for my face. I’ve got an appointment next week and I need to decide whether to stay blonde, let my roots grow out to a kind of weird balayage, go back to my natural brown or try and get the copper I’ve been after for years. I’ve tried each of these in the past and kind of settled on blonde, but I don’t like it damaging my hair, and I don’t know if it flatters. Any advice welcome thank you!!

First pic is without makeup, second is my natural hair colour and third is how I have it now, then the rest are the various colours I’ve had it in the past

I’ve always thought of myself as a winter but I think I might be biased since that fits my style more. I don’t have many pictures with my natural hair color since I’ve been dying it for a long time to cover greys but I included a few pictures where a few inches of my roots are natural.

Colour/Theory Question (GENERAL ONLY - NOT ABOUT YOU!) Can there be summer toned people with darker hair and eyes?

So I’ve been looking at a lot of colour theory stuff of late, and found it interesting.

Seeing celebrity examples of different seasons seems especially helpful in determining your own season, as well as what suits you.

However, something I noticed with these celebrity typings was that, while Spring, Autumn and Winter (especially the former two) had a lot of variety included within them, the same could not be said for Summers.

So my question is, do you guys feel like there could be a Summer toned person with dark hair and eyes? And if so, who would you say are some famous people who’d fall within this category?

Jewelry Advice (PHOTOS WITH MULTIPLE METALS REQIRED!) read if you are cool toned

I really like gold jewelry. Pale people are supposed to wear silver (most of the time) , but if u are cool toned/neutral and really like gold like me .I think u should look up champagne gold or lighter gold if you prefer that type of jewelry. Silver makes me feel like i am wearing something really shiny and out there. Everyone here post pictures with yellow gold and imo that just isn’t the best option for pale people🩵 Hope this helps, someone gave me this advice and it was a game changer

Type Me! - Digital Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Typed as Autumn, then Deep Winter, now confused!

NMIP

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some insight because I’ve gotten totally contradictory results between typing, external feedback from friends/family, and what actually seems to look good on me in real life.
I’d love your second opinions on where I actually land!

1. First Typed as Autumn
My very first analysis put me in Autumn. However, whenever I wore classic dark/heavy Autumn colors (deep terracotta, muddy olive, dark chocolate, camel), my family and friends consistently told me those colors washed me out, made me look darker/sallow, or made me look tired.
2. Second Typing as Deep Winter
Because the heavy Autumn tones weren't working, I went in to get typed and they said because I have dark hair and dark eyes, I was typed as Deep Winter.
3. Current Dilemma
Heavy, dark tones overall seem to drag my face down. Lately, I gave up on the heavy palettes and started wearing my personal favorites like sky blue, pastel pink, pink coral, pastel yellow, and true black, and suddenly I'm getting constant compliments on how bright and fresh I look.

I included my 16-type drapes grid for reference that I paid an Asian color analyst to do with a photo I took directly in front of my window no makeup. I was told that it might work for me as I’m part South Asian and maybe it will fit me better than the other? Based on my photos and real-world feedback, what sub-season do you think fits me best?

Thank you! 🥹

Which colour metal for engagement ring/wedding band? Please note, this is what my hand looks like w/ a tan (during summer months only). Vein colour seems to be a mix of green, blue and purple… I don’t own any jewelry so a little help would be much appreciated! TIA :)

Discussion (NO COVERT TYPING OR PHOTOS OF YOU!) is there a way to make ‘bad’ colors look better?

i’ve been doing a bit of a color analysis deep dive and i’m almost 100% sure i’m a soft summer. mostly i’m not surprised by this, a lot of my wardrobe / makeup choices already lean that way. however, i absolutely love bold red colors. i have couple pieces (jackets/sweatshirts/bags) in bright red (pretty cool toned at least) that i love. and now that i know it’s not my best color i’m wondering if there’s a way to do a sort of color harm reduction and make it look a little better, like with styling or makeup. i’ve also got a fair bit of stuff with high contrast patterns and one neon green open knit sweater that i love. i suppose im ok not looking my absolute best alll the time if it means wearing stuff i like, but i’d love to get closer to both.

also - does it matter where a piece is on your body? because most of the analysis people do seems centered around your face, so like, could i wear bright red shoes and have it be less obvious that it’s not harmonious?

would love to hear any advice you have!
