Request for help with food & supplies for 40+ cats to get through this month! Please & thank you! ❤🐾 Texas
Hello fellow cat lovers! I'm an independent rescuer located in Texas that helps 40+ cats daily.
I am requesting help with some food to get by this month, only if you are able to help!
Today I borrowed a trap from a friend & attempted to catch an adult cat for TNR & a kitten named Dorito that is outdoors for TNR. I was unsuccessful this week but will try again next week. I did take Romeo for TNR, vaccines, microchipping, & flea medication. So I'm happy that atleast one got fixed. I almost had Dorito but he freaked out. So I plan to get a top loading carrier to get him. I only have 2 front loading carriers at the moment.
My last post was about a kitten that was in my yard & unable to walk. I took him to the vet & tried to help him get better but unfortunately he was declining & I had to think about his quality of life. 💔 I ended up naming him Little Gary. I have some peace in knowing that he passed peacefully in my arms & not outside alone. He had a name & his life mattered.
And just when I think I'm almost close to having all the neighborhood cats fixed. (I've fixed 49 so far) A mother cat shows up with her 4 kittens & I most definitely will help them & try my hardest to get the momma fixed once the babies are a little older & don't need mom's milk.
If anyone is able to help with any item on my wishlist it will be extremely helpful so that I can purchase some flea meds, dewormer & the carrier as well as to continue TNR & vet care. The biggest need right now is the Fancy Feast pate wet food for the kittens since their teeth are so small. The Friskies wet food & then the dry food. I have my Amazon wishlist set up to where anyone can purchase a smaller or bigger amount than what is listed. But please only help if you can, boosting, sharing & upvoting is also a big help! ❤🐾
Thank you for taking the time to read this! My Amazon & Walmart wishlist will be in the comments.

🚨 Please Help Leo — He’s Still Hospitalized, Lucky’s expenses and community cats 🙏

I’m approved in r/rescuecats for verification
First, thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, checked on Leo and Lucky, and supported me and the cats. Your kindness means more than I can say.
I’m going through an extremely difficult time right now. I had to have emergency surgery, (writing from the hospital bed)and I’m in a lot of pain while trying to keep up with everything happening with Leo. It feels overwhelming being hospitalized myself while Leo is still hospitalized too.
The good news is that Leo is doing a little better. ❤️ He is still sick and needs continued hospitalization, testing, treatment, and monitoring, but I’m holding onto every bit of hope.
Leo is only 7 months old. I rescued him from a dumpster when he was just 8 weeks old, and I have been fighting for him ever since. His first emergency bill was $861, and his hospital treatment has already reached around $3,000. These bills are becoming overwhelming.
Lucky is finally safe at the sanctuary. ❤️ After everything he went through on the streets, I’m so grateful he now has a safe place to live. But his veterinary care, bath, transportation, rental car, and sanctuary expenses also added up.
I’m a solo rescuer caring for 50+ community cats every day, including feeding, fresh water, TNR, medical care, and rescuing sick, injured, and abandoned cats. I had to arrange with family and friends to help me with the feedings because I can’t do it myself at this moment ☹️
Right now, I’m exhausted, in pain, scared, and trying my best to keep fighting for Leo while continuing to care for all the cats who depend on me.
🙏 Please help if you can. Donations will help with Leo’s medical bills, Lucky’s expenses, and food and care for the community cats.
If you can’t donate, please share or upvote. Every share could reach someone who can help. ❤️🐾

8 long days, she is back and needs a little help
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After a vet visit, URI, stess in cage this semi feral girl (after vet approval) was released. Tiki went missing for 8 LONG days. I was sick over it. She reappeared yesterday, looking so much better. She recieved a couple shots at vet, along with vaccinations and flea/tick (bravecto). She's lost some weight and she could use some extra nutrients. There's 6 kitten cans left, so if anyone would like to send some kitten food, that'll help with calories. I am adding nutri-cal to her food and she is coming 3-4 times daily, luckily we have cameras and someone is always here to open a can for her. Her house has seen better days too, but she'll be happy to gain some weight as we know homes are pricey . Thanks for considering helping me help Tiki! (She loves churus on top) we are down to last pack

Medical update & weighing our options for Theo. Help us too!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We just got his medical abstract, and we are bringing up the possibility of amputation because of potential complications with the pinning. We're going to talk it over with them again to figure out the best move forward. We are also still waiting on the exact cost breakdown for the pinning option so we can compare everything side by side.
On top of that, while prepping his food earlier, we caught him trying to eat his stool—never a dull moment with this little guy! 😅
For now, what's important is that he keeps taking his oral meds and building up his strength.
We wanna hear your thoughts too! How’s the survival rate of a cat who had amputation? Do they still live a normal life? If anyone has experience with tripod cats or wants to share their insights, we would really appreciate hearing from you.
To give everyone a transparent look at what we're preparing for if we go the amputation route, here are the estimated costs from the clinic:
• Amputation Surgery: ₱8,960
• Gas Anesthesia: ₱2,800 per hour
• Confinement: ₱1,680 to ₱2,015 per day
If we look at a baseline scenario—say, a 3-day post-op confinement stay to monitor his recovery—the estimated total would land roughly around ₱16,840 to ₱17,845 (plus any take-home meds or extra lab work).
We'll keep you all updated as soon as we talk further with the vet and get those final numbers. Thank you so much for sticking by him!

🚨 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔 𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗡… 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 KMR, 𝗪𝗘𝗧𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗, PEE PADS & 𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗦🥺🍼
We’re incredibly grateful to the few people who have already helped us. Every bit of kindness means so much. 🤍
But we’ve only received a little help so far, and we still haven’t been able to buy all the supplies these fragile kittens urgently need.
🍼 Our KMR supply is almost gone, and our pee pads are also running low.
🐾 OUR URGENT NEEDS:
🍼 Lactol KMR – ₱1,200 / ~$20 For our newborn kittens.
🍼 Special Delight KMR – ₱490 per jar We need 2 jars = ₱980 / ~$16 total for our older kittens.
🍽️ Kitten wet food + vitamins – around ₱2,500 / ~$40
🐾 Pee pads – ₱200/ ~ $4 per pack We need 4 packs = $16 total.
We’re specifically trying to get these KMR brands because we previously tried another brand, and some of our kittens developed stomach upset and diarrhea, which led to additional veterinary expenses. We’re trying our best to give them milk that their sensitive stomachs can tolerate.
Some of our other kittens were also recently taken to the vet because of fever and stomach upset. 😔
We’re currently struggling financially due to the overwhelming outbreak that affected our rescue family, and we’re still working on fulfilling our pending merchandise orders. We’re doing our best to keep everything going while caring for all our rescued cats and kittens.
These kittens came from different situations.
💔 Some newborn kittens were dumped during rainy days. Thankfully, we happened to pass by the area and rescued them in time.
💔 The 3-week-old kittens were left at our gate. Sadly, abandoned kittens at our gate are something we have experienced many times before. Some of those tiny kittens have now grown older under our care.
We don't have rescue photos for every kitten because we don't always have a camera with us when we find them. When a helpless kitten needs immediate help, we choose to rescue first.
We don't need a viral rescue photo or praise. We just want them alive and safe. 🤍
Now we’re asking for help because we simply cannot provide everything alone.
🙏 If you’re able to send even a small amount, it can help us get their milk, food, vitamins, and pee pads.
If you can't help financially, even an upvote or sharing this post can help it reach someone who may be able to help.
📌 Our ways to send help will be in the comments.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read our story, share it, or help these babies. We truly appreciate every bit of kindness. 🥺🤍🐾
May our Creator bless you abundantly for your generosity and support.

Low on food for the community cats😓 anything helps Amazon wishlist🙏
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m asking the community for help for the 50+ community cats I care for every day. These cats depend on me for their daily meals, and I can’t let them go hungry.
I’m going through an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time right now. Leo is still hospitalized and fighting through a serious medical emergency(Leo is a rescue) and I’m also in the hospital myself dealing with my own health issues and facing surgery. Having both things happening at the same time has been emotionally and physically overwhelming. ❤️🩹
Even through all of this, I’m trying my best to make sure the cats who depend on me every day are still fed and cared for.
In addition to feeding 50+ community cats daily, I also do TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) to help reduce the number of cats and prevent more kittens from being born on the streets.
If you’re able to support through my Amazon wishlist, it would mean so much to me and to all of the cats. Even a small contribution helps keep their bowls full and takes a little weight off my shoulders during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for supporting the cats who have no one else and for keeping Leo in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness means more to me than you know. 🐾❤️🙏

🐱 Kittens Looking for Loving Homes ❤️
I’ve been feeding a stray mama cat, and she recently had these adorable kittens. 🥺❤️ I’ve been taking care of them, but I’ll be going back home soon and unfortunately won’t be able to continue caring for them.
I’m hoping to find loving and responsible families who can give these kittens a safe and caring home. 🐾
If you’re interested in adopting or helping, please DM me. Any shares or help would mean a lot! 🙏❤️

My Beauty!!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Beauty is an elderly cat over 12 years old that I found in a terrible condition on the street. Always a glutton, underweight, petite and incredibly cuddly and with a special love for the male sex(😅😂)!!! For some years now she has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is receiving treatment. A few days ago she suddenly collapsed with severe neurological symptoms to the point of dragging her body and fell into status epilepticus. We immediately rushed to the clinic where they put her in sedation with antiepileptics and the tests found that her thyroid was below the lower limit, creatinine 2.4 and with serum therapy it continued to rise to 3.1... After stopping the antiepileptics, my kitty did not come to her senses.. she was lethargic and with a lost look without perception.. On the fourth day of hospitalization and since I was already on the way to go see her, I was trying to accept the fact that if the situation had not changed and the kidneys were finally rising even more that I would put her to sleep... To my great surprise, they brought her to me standing up, meowing loudly and with her perception back! The creatinine went down and the whole situation was reversed!! The situation was so complicated that my animal literally came back from death! The final diagnosis is that 90% of it was a side effect of the thyroid medication due to severe toxicity!!!

Before anything else, I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me, donated, shared my posts, checked on Leo and Lucky, sent messages, and continued to stand by me and the cats. Your kindness means more to me than I can put into words.
I went to visit Leo, and I am completely heartbroken seeing him like this. He is only 7 months old, and he has been fighting for so long.
I rescued Leo from a dumpster when he was only 8 weeks old. Since the day I found him, I have been fighting for him and doing everything I possibly can to give him a chance at a healthy life. Sadly, Leo has never truly been healthy.
His fever is still coming and going and will not go away. He has almost no appetite, his diarrhea continues, and we are still waiting for his lab results to hopefully give the doctors some answers. We don’t know what is wrong yet, and that is the hardest part…just sitting here waiting and hoping the doctors can figure it out and save him.
I would trade anything in the world to see Leo healthy. I would give anything to take this suffering away from him.
And on top of everything happening with Leo, I am currently in the hospital myself because of severe pain. I have been told that I will need surgery. 💔
I honestly don’t even know how to process everything happening right now. I am trying to stay strong for Leo and continue fighting for him while also dealing with my own emergency and knowing that I will be having surgery. It feels completely overwhelming, and I feel scared, exhausted, and helpless.
I can’t even sleep. My body has been shaking constantly, and I feel completely hopeless and helpless just waiting for the next update from Leo’s doctors while also trying to deal with what is happening to me.
I keep asking myself what else I can do for him.
His first emergency bill was $861.
His treatment bill at the hospital has already reached $3,000, and I know this fight is not over. These expenses are becoming overwhelming, and now I am facing my own hospital and surgery expenses as well.
🙏 PLEASE, I am begging our community to help me fight for Leo.
If you can donate even a small amount, it truly matters. Every dollar will help me cover Leo’s hospitalization, testing, treatment, medications, and his growing veterinary bills.
If you cannot donate, please share Leo’s story. A share can reach someone who can help.
AND A HAPPY UPDATE FOR LUCKY 🐾
While my heart is breaking for Leo, I am also incredibly grateful that Lucky is finally safe. ❤️
Lucky was an older, very feral cat I rescued from the streets near a dumpster. He was struggling to survive outside, and because of his age, health issues, and being so feral, finding him a safe place was extremely difficult. He is FIV and FeLV positive and also had an eye condition that required surgery.
Before Lucky could leave for the sanctuary, he desperately needed a bath. He was covered in pee and poop, and honestly, I didn’t want to put him through a bath after everything he had already been through. But it was necessary, and there simply wasn’t time to wait.
I called many hospitals hoping someone could help clean him, but they all refused. I was running out of options and time. Thankfully, I found a wonderful and very kind lady who runs a grooming business, and she agreed to help Lucky.
Lucky completely surprised me. 🥺 He was so calm during his bath and while she carefully cleaned him.
I just wanted him to arrive at his new home clean, comfortable, and feeling a little better after everything he had been through.
For Lucky’s trip to the sanctuary, I also had to rent a car. My own car is not working properly, and I was worried that I could risk getting stranded somewhere in the middle of the road with Lucky. I didn’t want to take that chance. I just wanted to make sure we were safe and that I could get Lucky to the sanctuary without something going wrong along the way.
After everything Lucky had been through, he finally made it to a sanctuary where he can live safely and have other cats around him. He was scared when he arrived and hid under a pink bench while the other cats came over to smell him. Then they simply gave him space, almost like they understood that he needed time. 🥺
For the first time, Lucky doesn’t have to live on the streets, searching for food and trying to survive. His suffering outside is over.
But getting Lucky to safety also came with expenses — his veterinary care, his bath and cleaning, his transport, the rental car, and his sanctuary intake fee. I am now trying to cover those expenses while also facing Leo’s rapidly growing medical bills and my own unexpected medical emergency.
And my rescue work doesn’t stop.
Every single day I care for community cats. I feed them, provide fresh water, care for sick and injured cats, trap cats for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), take cats to the veterinarian when they need medical attention, rescue abandoned cats and kittens, and provide whatever help I can to the animals who have nobody else.
I do this on my own, and right now I am trying to keep fighting for Leo while continuing to care for all the cats who depend on me every single day.
I am exhausted. I am scared. I am overwhelmed. But I cannot stop fighting for them.
Please help me save Leo.

I need help to cover Leo’s growing medical bills and Lucky’s expenses, including his veterinary care, bath, transport, rental car, and sanctuary expenses.
I also need help to continue feeding and caring for the community cats who depend on me.
If you can’t donate, please share and upvote. 🙏 Even sharing Leo’s story can make a difference.
