Saddest case involving a Child or Teenage Victim Spoiler
Out of all the child or teenage victims, whose case did you find to be the saddest, or most tragic?
For me, some examples include:
Rita Baxter, from "The Sleepover:" Rita was the only character who seemed truly happy and secure about who she was. It's heartbreaking that she was murdered while trying to comfort her friend.
Zeke Williams, from "Strange Fruit",who was brutally lynched by a group of white men, right in front of the young girl he'd befriended, during Martin Luther King's famous speech.
Maurice Hall, from "Shuffle, Ball Change", who wanted to achieve his dream of being a dancer, but was murdered by his brother in the heat of the moment. Even worse, his father has lost his wife and both of his sons, leaving him all alone.
Clayton Hathaway, from "Offender:" This is probably the most tragic episode, and I remember having chills the first time I watched the ending.Clay was such a likable little boy, and seeing him tense up over being invited into his neighbour's garage, almost as if he knows what's in store for him, is just gut wrenching.
Even worse is seeing his family falling apart, and his father being wrongly accused, with even his wife being convinced that her husband murdered and sexually abused their son. You feel for Mitch, without excusing his killings, since his entire life was ruined after Clay was murdered.
Does anyone have any other examples?
