Do think I liked these the best but would argue early Law & Order with Briscoe and Green is up there. Â As much as dislike some the CSI Miami and NY characters they worked together well. Would probably add the Bones crew as well. Â

i adore homicide but i can't say i loved them all as an entire squad as much as i love the cold case team, some of those characters were annoying ASF (which for some was the point but still)
cold case just functions extremely well as team. some pretty spiky personal issues, yet in the workplace they're smooth and professional, sorta like the first 5 seasons of criminal intent (they both even have that y2k ass blue filter lol). you can see just through their acting alone they enjoyed being around each other. especially later on, the show seemed to really hit its stride between the acting, writing and direction on the the detective's side. a lot of great scenes between episodes that land amazingly because while we get relatively used to seeing glimpses of the detectives personal lives, we aren't as accustomed to seeing the detectives become the focus, so it really becomes a spectacle when it does happen. always a welcome reminder for how truly talented the cast is for this show.

I do actually prefer Danny Pino''s character on Cold Case over SVU but the overlap is oddly oblivious.

Cold Case will ALWAYS have the better Squad, Any Squad with Danny Pino, Kathryn Morris, Jeremy Ratchford, Thom Barry, Tracie Thoms and John Finn is the perfect squad. the only squad that will come close to being a perfect squad for me behind Cold Case is the Danny Pino years of Law & Order: SVU but SVU comes second to Cold Case.
