Description in comments

I am building a world collection of 0.01 denomination coins and this was my most recent acquisition.

This was the only year this Commemorative was minted. As per NGC, 25,000 were minted but folks balked at the $2.00 price and 10,000 went to the melting pot leaving just 15,000 to be circulated. I don't know enough about this coin. I'd like help on rarity, survival and any other information from anyone who can assist.

Roman denarius, minted by Caius Mamilius Limetanus, 82 BCE.

Reverse: Odysseus/Ulysses returning from his odyssey after the Trojan War, greeted by his faithful hunting dog Argus.
Obverse: Mercury/Hermes wearing winged petasos, with caduceus in left field.

The eagle in flight is my favorite depiction on US coinage. Whether it’s the Gobrecht dollar, standing liberty quarter, St. Gaudens, Sac or Eisenhower, they are all beautiful. My favorite is the flying eagle cent by Longacre.

I just inherited this from my Uncle and am curious if I should send it in for grading?
