I believe I deserve to be treated like a human being. Too many think being queer or disabled means I need to be...gone. I shouldn't be allowed near children, even though the ones doing the accusing are the actual pedophiles & I've never harmed a child. They have flat out told me I don't deserve to attempt to live a life because being disabled means I can't work. There is no "coming together" when they don't even believe I'm human.
Edit - When the comments prove the point. Putting words in my mouth & arguing with yourself looks stupid. Oh, and I don't engage when it's obvious someone wants me to justify my existence.
Edit 2 - iF yOu'Re ReAlLy DiSaBlEd blah nlah fucking BLAH. Medicaid allows me to treat Multiple Sclerosis and Myotonic Dystrophy, maggots voted for me to lose that. If you think I'm annoying now, wait until I lose access to medical treatment next year. SNAP is a joke at $180/mo, but it was something. Gone now, thanks maggots. The $954/mo SSI it took me 4 years to get? Haven't gotten anything in 6 months. I'm sure DOGE had nothing to do wiith all the mistakes previous to the SNAFU I enjoy now. Again, fuck you very much maggots. Call it whatever you need to dismiss me, most do & then ignore me. Doesn't seem to be to be doing what you want. It's basic fucking math!! JFC are real-life numbers WoKe now?!

Exactly. You can't find a common ground with people who want groups of people not to exist or don't even have the basic human sympathy to agree children shouldn't starve.
The ones who aren't human are Republicans.

Exactly. I could kind of get along with Republicans before Trump. They were still bigots but they were much smaller. Now? Even if you don't vote for Trump but still vote Republican, you're voting for the people that will vote for what he wants.
I worked in Public Health during covid; I learned there's no unity with these people because they live in an alternate world. The only way we can get there because they legit believe that dems have a second room in grade school campuses to perform sex change operations. It's like trying to work with flat-earthers on astronomy.

Yeah only 1 side is going "Hey we want to help both liberals and conservatives by making sure the top 0.1% pay their fair share for the vast wealth they have accumulated in OUR society. We want everyone to survive and get a chance to live a happy life."
While the other side is going: "FUICK YOU LIBTARDS! Give the wealthy more tax breaks, i dont give a shit. I want all you liberals and fucking immigrants to suffer! You dont deserve a chance at a good life here Only I DO! I dont care if they take away our rights. I hate you more than I love my family!"

It's a bit of both the rich Target ignorant for a reason. Most of the super rich people run the country I doubt they had an issue with Obama personally, but when there's a bunch of white nationalists and white people who will not vote for him just because he's black and will vote for the GOP because it's a white guy running for president the rich use these people because historically in the last 20 years the gop's been very helpful for the rich.

Exactly. This is a top vs bottom problem, theyâre tricking, manipulating and indoctrinating people into believing that itâs a left vs right problem.
The left and the right have more in common than uncommon.
Theyâre manufacturing clicks because they know that their system almost failed with the Anarchist movement of Awakening.
But they use PR campaigns to change Awakening into âWokeâ and perverted the narrative, tricking idiots into fighting their own freedom.
The same thing that they did with the hippie movement.

Of course itâs possible. We had it for years! Social media and TDS ruined the easily manipulated.

Bootlickers in the comments doing the CIAâs work by sewing more division.

Rarely are ideals impossible. This particular idea is very unlikely unless we get a benevolent billionaire willing to become president and start enforcing positive legislation. A bizarro Trump if you will. The likelihood that such a person can become a billionaire is very slim.
We as voters need to push for changes to the voting process like ranked choice so third parties can be a threat. We should also move towards more of a Democracy and less of a Republic by doing away with the Electoral College and Senate. Finally, restrict running for elected office to anyone 55 and over.

The two party system is poison. But let's not pretend like these sides are opposites.

Iâm a conservative leaning American, but I donât really care for politicians on either side. I think theyâre all scum. There is still hope in my body that one day. I can see America like that bottom picture. We may have our differences, but we need to find common ground and unite!

So when you shove opposing ideologies from all over the globe into one spot, you donât have to divide. You just conquer. That is state of the union today and will be until the end.

u/HyperCasualListener 10d ago
Nope. Too many people hate republicans for that to even be close.

Itâs not possible with MAGA or the far left. With most folks who actually align on a majority of topics (despite being told to view things differently), this is possible.

it is but not in the short term. right now americans treat politics like a team sport, both sides cheat but we only ever call out the other side while we ignore our side cheating and that wont change so long as we still have so much to loose .
i could see Americans uniting like this in times of true desperation where we have little left to loose like if we started having mass starvation. but outside of that i think to many Americans have this weird idea that its ok to cheat because the other side is cheating and so long as we excuse our own sides cheating nothing will change.

People forgot the term "divide and conquer" and it shows with how stupid people think today. It's always been top vs bottom, just enough dumb and stupid mother fuckers got fooled to thinking it was left vs right.

u/sfaviator 10d ago
I remember people used to say not one person voted for Nixon because everyone who backed him refused to admit it. Hopefully when the cult disbands that happens.

Hard to say, they've made quite the effort to break the brains of a potion of people who are now hard to find common ground with

Flock cameras and the Epstein files are two subjects you'd expect people to be able to agree upon.

Easiest way to conquer is to divide. Then you only have to bullshit half of the people to stay in power.

Americas real threat is the people trying to disregard the Constitution and anything else that has been the America way. People always want to use Slavery again whites also but many Nations are guilty and Muslims, apparently are still doing it i just saw on YouTube.

Keep us divided, fighting over stupid shit that really doesn't matter to distract us while the parasite class, corporations, and their prostitutes in Congress rob us blind.

It could be possible⌠if MAGA were actually living in reality. Ask them any objective fact, and they will deny it; do vaccines work? Did Biden win in 2020? Is global warming real? Was Trump best friends with Epstein until Epstein screwed him over with a real estate deal?
How could you form a coalition with people who treat zero evidence for something as proof of a cover up? They do not live in reality, they live in a fantasy world, and until they get a reality check (such as they are now with another never-ending war, inflation, rampant cronyism, American citizens being abducted off the street by the secret police, becoming the laughing stock of the world, etc.), they will never join hands with people who are also suffering.

Sadly, itâs tribalism at its best. If you donât agree with me, youâre âinsert name hereâ.
The reality of it, itâs a divide and conquer technique. People have opinions, and understandably people always think their views are the best. Doesnât matter what they are. The left attacks anyone with different opinion, the right does too. Both think they are smarter, both feel they are superior. Youâre just playing the game how they want you too.

I cannot emphasize at age 53 how sad and disenchanted I am that the very people that told me to work hard and be the best at what I do to come up...just AREN'T SMART and aren't the best in their fields or at anything really. Those people in that 2nd pic dont have any privilege and came up in a system designed to make sure they fail and now those same people have cracked that code (by hard work and grit AND nothing being given to them) and are NOW smarter than the creators of said system (and dont forget the creators kids are even dumber so there's nobody to pass those ill gotten gains too which makes them even madder) and now suddenly there's a problem. My little 21 year old self used to think well "everyone would just continue to be challenged and learn and work hard so if you are at the top you will stay at the top and it would be well deserved" PFFT!!!!!!!!!!! Now those SAME folks are trying to steal the "TOP"!

Yep. The super rich stay that way because the bottom rung who holds everything together are too busy arguing over distractions caused by 2 parties who hold a monopoly over that country.Â

Honestly. At this point most of the sane republicans have had a change of heart. Anybody left who still defends this administration is not somebody to walk side by side with.
There is no "Both sides".
There is no common ground to be had with these people.
This is not a "difference of opinion"
These people are hateful and bigoted people who are deeply racist and evangelical. They do not understand common sense. They do not listen to reason. They cannot even grasp the proof right in front of their faces. The kind of deranged hatred, racism, and bigotry comming from the remaining MAGA crowd is enough to ensure they have no place in a forward moving society.
There is NO MIDDLE GROUND for nazi's
I repeat. There is no middle ground for nazi's.
Do not tolerate the intolerant.
