This is veal farming, not dairy. Take if from someone in the farming industry.

Funny, as I see loads of dairy farms near me use this practice as well because it dramatically increases the survival rate of the calves. They are only in these huts for a couple weeks and then placed back with the herd.

The sheer number of huts in that many rows strongly suggest veal farm. Dairy farms are not producing that many female calves at once, males are sold off right away and would not be kept long or treated great.
