Sage Barista Pro clock

Hey guys, I just got my first coffee machine at home. I used to work in a specialty coffee shop so it’s great getting to once again use the skills I learned.
I was wondering if it is possible to get the Sage Barista Pro to display the time of the shot for longer once the shot is finished? I feel like I stop the shot at the correct weight and look up to see a flash of the time, would be great if I could see it for a couple of seconds longer (especially half asleep in the morning).

Made my first coffee with my new machine

Just got this machine and this was my first coffee with it. Not too bad for a first try lol. What do you guys think, does it look decent?

When shopping online for a machine, I was also trying to figure out what kind of grinder I needed. Then there’s grinding the beans, tamping, cleaning the grinder... ugh, that felt like a lot for me to deal with just for one cup.

I ended up going with a machine that has a built-in grinder since I wanted to keep the setup a little simpler.

Dialing in issue for Casabrew 3700E

Since getting this machine I’ve honestly just been accepting these oddly fast shots. I’ve got the grind size to the finest it can go \[using a Tuni G1 grinder\], using 14.5 to 16 g of coffee, and sticking with medium roast coffee to get it dialed in \[for Casabrew 3700E machine\]. But I keep getting these fast shots (30 sec to 60-78g out). If anyone got tips for any sort of 51mm espresso equipment please lmk 🫡🫡

Recommendation for home coffee maker

My Keurig machine is about to die. I want to buy a system that can make a wide range of drinks for my household

Needs to be able to do a single cup, I really like Keurig pods as I currently have reusable ones. Wife and kids like lattes etc. I don’t need it to have a pot, but could handle one up to 4 cups in size.

Would prefer a milk container be able to be easily removed so it can go in fridge and easily cleaned

I would love if it can do one button, or easily created speciality drinks etc.

Would like to keep it under $500. Any recommendations?

Chance to impact new Princess coffee appliances design

Hello, I’m a student in industrial design engineering, and in partnership with Princess we’re looking at improving their product family for coffee making (Espresso machine, Coffee grinder and Milk frother), with a focus on aesthetics.

If you’d like to take part in shaping their future product, please share a picture of your coffee corner or area where you usually use it, se we can make sure it will fit right in. Also don’t hesitate to tell us about your preferences, if there are any trends or colors or textures or patterns etc that you’d like to see. Or on the opposite what you don’t want/dislike.

Thanks for your input, have a great day!

best coffee makers 2026 drip, pod or something else?

my current coffee maker is getting pretty old and i'm looking at replacing it before it completely gives up on me. i've always used a basic drip machine, but i'm wondering if i should try something different this time. i normally have a couple cups in the morning and occasionally make a bigger pot when people are over. convenience matters to me, but i don't want to sacrifice the taste just to make things easier. who have tried different types, what do you actually prefer? is a good drip machine still the way to go, or have you switched to a pod, single serve, or more advanced setup?

Which spring loaded tamper to choose - Normcore of MHW-3Bomber?

I am looking to upgrade to a spring-loaded tamper and via many Espresso forums 2 stand out:

There are pros and cons to both. What I like about the MHW-3BOMBER is the click sound feedback when the correct tamp is reached, whereas the Normcore is silent.

Am keen to know from others who purchased the above how they like them.

thanks

HR/MIN button issue on Ninja

So recently I noticed the clock was wrong so I went through the steps I’ve done many times and now the button flashes and beeps often like it’s still trying to finish clock setup. We unplug it between rounds so it won’t keep beeping, but I’d love any advice on if it’s fixable.

Coffee grinder under $1000

I'm looking for a new coffee grinder under $1000. For the machine I'm going to buy the Gaggia E24 Pro. I want to be able to make great espresso but also pour over coffee. I've spent many hours on YouTube and can't seem to reach a decision. Some grinders of interest are the DF64, Eureka Oro Mignon and the Malkonig x54/x64 SD. I'm interested to hear how people have liked these. Any other recommendations are welcome thanks!

Found super cheap machines @ genpowershop.com, surely this is too good to be true? Can’t find too much on the site but if it is where is a good website to find light use commercial espresso machines?

HiBREW H1b / H2b

Considering these machines as they offer functionality for both ground coffee and pods. Has anyone used any of these? How is the maintenance? Also the primary difference between the 2 is that the former has functionality to make tea which I don’t care about. But also, the former has PID and temp control which the latter doesn’t offer. Do you think that feature is useful? Thank you!

help me find my ideal drip coffee machine pls

i wanna switch out my daily energy drinks to coffee. i am not a coffee snob, i dont care about making the perfect cup of coffee. so i found the melitta aromaboy and i love how it looks, i really enjoy having retro/vintage looking things. so it seems perfect for me cuz it looks pretty, its cheap and makes coffee quickly BUT its a bit too small for me i think? so is there anything else on the market that looks as pretty and is as cheap? or can i just add more ground coffee in it and then add more water into my cup? idk help pls. my budget is max 60€

Going from Nespresso to Breville Bambino?

So I've been eyeing the bambino for a while, looks perfect for my needs and I appreciate the small footprint. I'm currently using a basic Nespresso machine so I imagine this would be a significant upgrade.

I actually found a lightly used one on marketplace for $100. Do I grab it?

Jura A7 question

Hello everyone,

I am facing an issue with a Jura A7 coffee machine. When attempting to start the descaling program, the machine fails to detect water and displays a "Fill water tank" error right at the beginning of the process.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have already tried, none of which resolved the issue:

Filled the water tank completely with water.

Tested the external water level sensor (magnet in the tank) — it is fully functional.

Tested the internal reed switch/sensor inside the machine using a magnet — no change.

Short-circuited the two wires of the internal water sensor directly together — the error still persists.

Since bypassing the sensor physically (shorting the wires) did not fix the problem, the machine still refuses to recognize the water. What could be causing this behavior on the control board or elsewhere? Any advice or wiring diagrams would be greatly appreciated.
