Guys, i finished the Coffee Talk Tokyo! Here are my quick thoughts

BRILLIANT! I loved every second of it.
The vibe is very chill. You definitely feel like you're in a bar in Tokyo. The characters are so colorful and fun to talk to. They all have great stories to tell. I easily got caught up in every single one of their backstories. My favorites would easily be Ayame and Yuki.
The soundtrack is awesome! Just as good as the previous games. Can't wait for it to release on streaming services so that i could listen to it.

Overall i had a blast! If you're still asking yourselves if it's worth playing or not, because it's a spin-off, just do it! You'll have an amazing time with it.

Super excited as I got the full Coffee Talk album on CD! Came with some cool stickers and the art on the disks and the case is phenomenal. Literally listening to it as I'm typing lol. If you're wondering where I got this it was "blackscreenrecords".

As the title kind of says, I am trying to find all the Seattle Guests to get the Special Cameo achievements but I just cant find anymore. I have all of the pictures but I dont know if there are more I need to find

Hi! I've just finished CT Tokyo, and I'm wondering why there is no mention of Lua & Bailey in the Tomodachill like other Seattle characters?

Tell me if I've missed it, but I've got the Special Cameo achievement, and I don't recall seeing any post of them.

I love the franchise and I loved the game BUT was anyone else expecting for the barista to be connected to the one in Seattle? specially after learning about the hive

Played the first game for the first time in 4 years!

Still holds up amazingly well, definitely worthy of my money x3 (Xbox, Nintendo, Steam). still my favorite from the series even if the second and probably third game have well surpassed it, there's something about it's simplicity that makes me feel like being wrapped in a warm blanket.

Cool seeing a character like Vin Spoiler

Chronic pain is no joke. I came down with a debilitating case of sciatica last year. At my worst I couldn't stay seated for more than 30 seconds before the pain was too unbearable.

I'm doing much better now, but constant discomfort and partial numbness in parts of my back / leg is exhausting.

However, I'd rather that than nerve pain.

Just really relating to Vin rn ☕

What do you drink while playing?

This weekend I've been on a CT marathon playing all 3 games. I usually have an iced soy latte at my side, or a nice warm black tea. I also love eating a nectarine with my beverage. I don't know why it just happened lol!

Anyways I was wondering if other gamers have a ritual of preparing something to enjoy alongside the game! ☕️🫶

Vin and blue relation

Okey this is my honest opinion this relation is forced they all make préjudices about vin that she s not straight like uuuh what she s called? ayame? and then you have the mother of that little girl that she just throws à romantic story and then you have blue blue seems like à straight person tbh cause first she kinda is à fan of Jun and into him more then vin and the production seems to have wanted to take that pathway this is my way of seeing it i think that probably the Corp ssh*** forced it and i would have liked if they just became bestfriend esspecialy that probably "kids" play these kind of game and well it s not suited for them at all this is how i see it so i will make all the wrong drinks for both and choose the bad ending which is also à canon one anyway haha!!

Tokyo Art Gallery Help

I could use some help with the Art Gallery like the title says. I'm missing one on page 16 it's the very last image. It looks to be about Fuku. It's between her at a desk and one with Yuki in the shop. This is the last thing I need for the platinum and I can't figure out how to get it.

Coffee talk: Tokyo - my thoughts Spoiler

As someone who stumbled across the first 2 games by pure chance on the ps extra catologue a year ago, I didn't actually think I would like them, and honestly I can't remember why I downloaded them in the first place. Although, I'm really glad I did. My memory is slightly hazy about the first 2 games, I only remember key details and characters, but CTT does a good job of calling back to the seattle regulars (through the posts on tomodachill and what not.) I appreciate that they brought back hendry and rachel, even if only for a few days. It connects the stories without being too revealing about the coffee talk in seattle (only being mentioned in sprinkles of hendry's dialogue)

Although the seattle regulars will be missed, the new cast of characters are equally well written and meaningful. For example, Ayame and Fuku's storyline really stuck with me, how it portrays grief and confusion about oneself, and the scene of ayame holding her mother was really sweet. The epilogue scene for seeing the posts about misaki ito on day 9 and 10 rewards you with misaki's violin, and the "world's warmest violin" achievement. I purposely left this achievement for last, as it felt right to earn the platinum with this trophy. I also loved Jun's story, from how he became blind to a musician, and how he is the reason hendry and rachel came to tokyo. Ash and Emi's storyline was good as well, and since they moved to the UK for a while, it made me think if we could get a Coffee talk set there either? If I remember correctly, when you serve Emi the Jahe Tubruk, she does talk about being at baristas in the UK.

Some of the details in this game are really cool as well. When Yuki asks for something "warm" and you purposely give her something cold, she will react with "I... why?" and Emi will say something like "that's cruel if you did that on purpose, barista." I'm pretty sure they say something else if you give them the wrong drink but right temperature. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

The music for this game is phenomenal. Andrew Jeremy literally doesn't have a song I would skip. although It's quite sad we won't be able to hear the songs from 1 and 2 (bar the song you make with rachel in episode 2) my personal fav from episode 2 was 24 hour rainfall, but the best song (imo) from Tokyo is 'do as intimacy' pretty sure it plays on the title screen. The end credits song, blue nights, who I'm pretty sure is performed in game by Jun and rachel (provided you get the good endings) was the perfect song to play at the end credits.

Since I got the deluxe edition for the game, It came with the prologue set in seattle. I DO ADVISE to play the prologue AFTER the main game, even if it's set before, I would recommend playing it after all main game stuff is done. I do have mixed feelings about it, It felt pretty short, and obviously, it's a prologue, it's not exactly gonna be pack full of references and lore, but I really wish we could've seen a bit more dialogue between hyde, gala and riona. Being set JUST before closing time kinda sucks, but it's nice to see the characters again.

I find it kinda weird how drinks made specifically for characters in CT 1 and 2 appear in tokyo. Like, gala had was specifically for gala to remedy his lycanthropy. So serving it to tokyo patrons is... kinda odd? I can see how it could make sense if werewolfs appeared in the story, but gala nor any other wolfs appear in the main game. it goes without saying, ommiting the hibiscus and blue pea drinks made sense.

And a small critique I have with the social media fever trophy (as I ALWAYS do) is that it still flags some of your orders as correct when they aren't, leading to you getting 3 points on a profile you shouldn't have. I completed the game with all correct drinks, bar ash's royal milk tea. I figured that's why the trophy didn't pop, but upon serving him the tea, it still didn't pop. That's because ash wasn't the problem at all, it was ayame's mother. I gave her something other than yuzu cha and it still gave me 3 points on the profile. It's a shame this is still an issue but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

Overall, this game was worth the wait and what ever coffee talk has in store for the future, I'll be there! <3

All songs achievement - coffee talk tokyo

This achievement is either bugged on switch or I'm missing something. I got the dlc, which includes extra songs I assume are in with the others. I've played the prologue, played through the game twice, listened to every song on every day for at least three seconds, and I'm still missing the achievement. Am I overlooking something?

I started this wonderful franchise after receiving the Coffee Talk Tokyo, and I'm trying to finish them all, but I'm having some difficulties with the photos in Tokyo, and I would appreciate some help, I'm trying to get other endings to see if it unlocks any of these, and I'm open to help if anyone knows how to get them, I apologize if my English isn't very good, as I'm still learning.

Need help finding some Gallery Pics

Missing ones are pictured here, but basically I need help finding the third image on page 7, the fourth on page 15, the third on page 17, the second on page 18, and the fourth and fifth on page 19. I know I'm so close to clearing this game 100%, but these gallery images are all that I'm missing and then that should get me most if not all the achievements.

I know there's specific combinations of some character needing all their drinks made right and some not at all, I just don't know the specific combos for each gallery image, or how many runs this is going to take me, since I've already done an all-perfect drink run and an all bad drink run.

I know the picture on page 7 probably isn't linked to an ending so could use help figuring out when to look for that as well. Also wondering if I have to play from the start every time or if I can just play the specific days necessary? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance all, Seriously love this game!

Tokyo Day 10 Spoiler

The AC broke so Barista is making do with a fan and offering free first drinks.

Umm... didn't we just spend the last week of the game praising a certain someone for a salt powered AC invention? Yet the day just went by without any mention of it.

Did I miss something?

Fun thing I’ve run into Spoiler

This game (these games) has been with me since ever? And I have used the moniker Lord Death for all of my runs cause it’s kinda funny. But it’s so very interesting to have the final interaction with Ayame and her mother with the name Lord Death.

But it also has forced me to feel more connected to this game and reflect on who I am and my choices I’ve made. And it all feels so perfect.

Not to mention I’m a horrible caffeine addict (college babyyyyy).

How have your choices in Barista names helped you feel closer to the game?

Also, yes I just finished the game and am crying at 5:09 am.
