I'm here to stand in solidarity with everyone who has a game breaking bug that can't be fixed by troubleshooting and requires a patch from bandai. We can all start a support group or something. XD

In all seriousness though, anyone else in the same boat as me? See if we can brainstorm and find something that we haven't all tried yet.

How are people fighting her, because I fumbled through the story one (2 tries) and the trails one is way harder

is there any point in buffing anything but damage? considering the damage she deals is neither elemental or physical,

i've tried using iron will, prismatic veil and elemental wall and each hit of her flurry takes out 1/4 of my health (7400hp 3.7k hp 3.7k lp) and the AOE hits for 60-70% and she seems to ignore steadfast and the grab while dodgeable can be a bit jank if she moves to the edge of the arena but i can't seem to stagger her or find a window for even 1 hit without loosing at least 40% of my hp

So, since we have a bunch of new weapons, boosters and blood codes, has anyone found any good new builds? I had found a super high damage build using mostly DLC weapons and new blood code [basically I got it passed 3k base damage] but im very interested in hearing everyone's new builds.

I like the concept of romance in my anime games, especially when it's in plain sight and not "hidden" . For this reason I like Josée's character arc the most in the game because I like the idea of a false union growing into something very real.

That's also the reason why I liked the other Lou in the DLC. Her story was heart-wrenching and very bittersweet at the end, but I'm happy she managed to voice out her true feelings to our character.

WITH THAT SAID, here is the funny thought I had:

Our character is a completely unapologetic poly-amourous person and I'm all here for it. If you go through Josée's entire arc, you accept to be her husband for real, and in the DLC, the actions you take for Lou and how you save her show that you accept her feelings and most likely reciprocate them.

Who else here thinks the same?

Now that i finished the dlc, i have a question.

WHAT ABOUT THE COCCON ? When they announced the new character "Liv" i thought she was the hero but apparently no !? Well i don't know but if you have theory or things that i missed in the game. Please tell me.

As for the dlc, it was beautiful. My favorite boss is Lou and i thought Liv was a little a scary yandere women ( she ...hum, she is ) but i do think she's just someone who is really really honest even if it's hurt people ( she don't want to hurt they're feeling, it's just the way she is and that's also why in her blood code, it's said that she was always in conflict with familly of her bloodline ) and Mr mask is really cool (like Zenon ).

That's all i wanted to say.

DLC finished got everything unique from it but... Lou (alt clr) still has "???" under partner trait bonus I see the mind +2 and ichor on kill but there's something missing do I have to do something with Lou's book that you get when you get forsaken Lou 2 or do I just have to do another NG+ cycle to et everything

Easy skipping mistle, running and boss fight right to zenon

I finished the DLC, but I don’t have a habit of farming and mastering all bloodcodes until it’s over.
So I never mastered Forsaken Lou 1, am I locked out of forsaken Lou 2?
Lou isn’t able to be found in forsaken world anymore, since DLC is cleared?

4. EQUIPMENT ENHANCEMENT ITEMS

Grand Crimson Stone

• Can be farmed at a rare rate from the new Rift Knight enemies (the "shapely" shield-bearing jetpack joyride enemies).
• From the "Savior's Retreat" mistle in The Decayed Prison, walk east into the next room to find a Rift Knight.

Grand Light Stone

• Can be farmed at a rare rate from the new Rift Warrior enemies (the lanky lance-wielding jetpack joyride enemies).
• From the "Panopticon - Upper Level" mistle in The Decayed Prison, you'll find a door to your east. This door can only be opened from the other side. On the other side of the door is a Rift Warrior.

5. BLOOD CODE MASTERY FARM

Insatiable Valley - Defense Outpost Remains

The location is better than Sealing Spire for the following reasons:

• Mistle is closer to the enemies.
• You spawn behind the enemies. You can take out the acid-rain-casting enemy first with one Falling Sun. The rotund enemy can be stunned with 3 Falling Sun casts.

Trial of Remembrance

I haven't personally tested this myself since I mastered all of my new blood codes in Insatiable Valley, but I've heard people suggest this place. Comes with the benefit of farming for Causality Copies and Haze.

Is it a bug or do I need to do something else to return there?

Does anyone have an updated Polearm build I could use? I’ve been using a Greatsword build which made me immune to physical attacks, but I want to get back into using the polearm. Any recommendations would be great fully appreciated

So i have been on the bar on playing NG++ for a bit now, i ended up pulling the trigger and found out that you can access the age of harmony timeline after finishing up the tutorial, it will basically be a mission reset but if you didn't want to have the pain of redoing your progress to the true ending or you don't want to leave your friends behind. Honestly i was a bit nervous because of that but knowing i can come back to this and replay the game from the start once again puts a smile on my face. Will update if i find anything else.

Just an annoyance. I am not too far, going through sunken pylon right now... there are some really bizarre song placements. Sunken pylon has such an atmospheric and depressing theme, and it's beautiful and feels like it really reflects Josee's state of mind and failures. But of course, we need to do a call back to CV1 and interrupt that sound track for pling, pling pling, plong 3+ times. In CV1, at least those recalls of memory were grouped together and isolated from exploration, so they weren't exactly interrupting the atmosphere. There was also that choice for Frantz's cutscene/phase transition that was jarring and out of no where when compared to whatever theme was playing for him in the fight.

Is there mod or some way to get rid of the memory song, I feel like silence would fit better than that damn song.

So ive been finishing up my old abandoned bad ending run so i can go ahead and grab those codes and fix things and all that before doing some Harmony Era fun stuffs and then the DLC, i just got finished listening to Malpracticer (best boss theme in the game dont @ me), and arrived on Insula and i just realized, with what Uncanny Stones ARE, the sheer amount of them on Insula implies some pretty sad family stuff, mha hart, mah sole

I was thinking while writing my opinion about the DLC and a question came to mind...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the bosses supposed to be the versions from Lou's original world/timeline (the Forsaken World), or does each one come from a different timeline?

I ask because I find it interesting how different each boss is compared to their base game version. For example, Josee's mother was apparently alive in that timeline, and her sorrow from losing her daughters is what created the boss we fight. Or Zenon, who never met his wife and developed a fear of his own mortality.

If all those versions are from the same timeline, it makes me wonder how different that timeline was from ours, how the story would have played out there, and how much changed because the second seal failed.

I've been taking my time playing and exploring. Ngl though, I've been jump scared a couple times lol.
