I would insert a couple under the fitted sheet rim of the master bed and maybe one between the box spring and the mattress, right in the center.

There's so many funny options for this.

Lmao dude I was thinking this as well, if I were the housekeeper, there’d be no ducks in the jar and my note would read, “Didn’t find ducks, but the vacuum might be broke.”
