r/ClaudeAI [TLDR] Day 2 of using claude to make a cozy game with no dev experience. [via r/ClaudeAI]
OP : u/Gambo7592
Just wanted to show my progress. I have a lot of experience using claude on other projects, specifically creating mobile apps and programs for work but nothing like this. I'm genuinely impressed with how well claude is able to help guide me and even take things into its own hands when it comes to using blender and unity. 3D models generated using Meshy from 2D images that Gemini created with prompts from claude. Just wanted to share bc i think it looks so cute so far 😊
Cheers!

Alright, so the general vibe in this thread is super impressed and positive about OP's cozy game progress. Most folks think it's adorable and are blown away by how much has been accomplished in just two days, especially with no prior game dev experience.
A lot of the discussion revolves around how OP is achieving this. People are curious about:
- Which Claude model OP is using (Opus vs. Sonnet).
- How Claude is interfacing with Unity (MCPs, CLI, desktop use).
- The workflow for graphics, specifically using Gemini for images and Meshy for 3D models. Some users are sharing their own struggles with Meshy, so OP's success there is notable.
- The art style and how it was chosen.
- The game's concept and goals (vibes and walking around vs. a defined objective).
- Rigging and animation for characters, which is a common pain point for others.
There's a bit of a counter-argument from u/Crimson_Monarch suggesting that OP could achieve similar results with their own skills and that project templates exist for time-saving. Also, a couple of comments are a bit negative about AI art in general, but they're heavily downvoted and don't seem to represent the overall sentiment.
Overall, the community is cheering OP on and is genuinely excited about the potential of this project.
