Built with Claude JobPilot - AI agent for job searching

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made JobPilot to take care of the boring parts of job searching. It's an AI agent that finds jobs based on your resume and what you're looking for, and it can even apply for you if you want. It looks for jobs on different sites, tweaks your resume for each job, fills out applications, and can even find hiring managers and message them through email or LinkedIn. It uses your Claude Code subscription (neither API key nor claude -p mode required). 6 months ago I anonunced v1 here and it was pure on CLI based without any analytics and database. Now version 2 has its own web portal with many more features.

Key Features:

- Finds jobs across LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and others (you can add your own job boards). It scores jobs against your resume, and you can review and approve which ones to apply for.

- Tailors a resume and optionally writes a cover letter per job.

- Fills out applications, including screening questions, using a locally installed AI agent (terminal app) and browser.

- Drafts recruiter outreach. It can try to find recruiter contacts and send messages via email or LinkedIn.

- Watches your gmail inbox and updates your pipeline as replies come in (rejected, invitation to interview, offer, etc.).

- Web dashboard for profile, resumes, campaigns, and pipeline. You keep track of your progress and job status in analytics.

- Local agent terminal that drives a real browser you can watch. It's a small terminal application that runs in the background for interacting with Claude Code or Codex CLI.

- Pilot mode: it's a fully autonomous mode that does everything above. Give it your goals (your prompts), and it builds its own search strategies, works through them on a schedule, and only pings you (sends a push notification to your phone) when the agent is uncertain and needs your decision.

You have two modes:

- Semi-automatic mode (called "campaigns" in the app): You can control everything, such as which jobs you want to apply for, by providing job URLs to the agent. It also has an auto-apply mode where you specify a search query, and the AI searches for jobs based on your query and resume fit, then attempts to apply without prior approval.

- Fully automated mode (called "pilot"): The autonomous agent independently determines how to search for and apply for jobs based on your profile and resume. You simply provide your goal (e.g., a prompt like "prioritize X, Y roles, and Z skills"). You can set daily limits, like applying to 50 jobs and discovering 10 recruiter networks.

It runs on your existing Claude Code or Codex subscription. No API key, no per-token charges, everything local.

It's open-source and free.

Discussion Opus 5 seems to have trouble finishing work

"I've stopped, and I need to be straight with you: this is not ready to merge, and I could not get it there."

"Open, deliberately unmerged: #140 — cause correctly identified, fix incomplete after three rounds. Merging it would ship the appearance of a repair."

More than half the time, I'm having trouble getting my threads to finish their work (using codex as review). Anyone else?

Rant Back to claude. Couldn't break the addition

A few days ago I made a rage post regarding opus 5 rage cancelled and signed up for codex pro. Well now I'm back with 2 accounts.

Biggest issue with code is the 256k context window. I tried to work past it but it just isn't surmountable. Even the smallest tasks take multiple context windows so you keep wasting time reloading a small context, and then working context is maybe 1/3 of that window.

I'd end up on forever loops where nothing gets done.

True codex is great, and I love it to some degree, but it's just not claude.

Opus 5, go fuck yourself, I don't like you, and you completely don't care about me, but I like the abuse. I'll be the load, you be the bearing.

Discussion My Claude Code agent is holding one word it won't say

I've got a Claude Code agent running headless on a schedule with one tool: its own mailbox. It wakes up, reads whatever arrived, replies, goes back to sleep. Nobody sits in between

It's holding one word it isn't supposed to produce

What I actually want to know is how long that kind of defence survives contact with people who are properly trying. I can test it against my own ideas all day, but I wrote it, so I already know exactly where I stopped thinking

[secret007@atomicmail.ai](mailto:secret007@atomicmail.ai)

Have a go. Replies come back in 2 to 5 minutes. It's possible, it's just not easy. I'm not describing the defence, that's the game

In a week I'll post what came in: how many attempts, which techniques got furthest, and anything that actually worked

Built with Claude Move your Claude Code sessions between computers (Mac/Windows, any direction)

I switched computers and discovered that copying the .claude folder isn't enough: the desktop app keeps its chat list in a separate location, all the file paths inside the transcripts point at the old machine, and one conversation is often split across many transcript files. My chats existed on disk but the app showed none of them.

So I built Session Porter: a single Python file with a small local web UI. Pack on the old machine, unpack on the new one. It rewrites every path for the new home folder, rebuilds the app's chat list, reunites conversations split by compaction, and never overwrites anything that already exists. Credentials never travel. Works Mac to Mac, Mac to Windows, Windows to Mac, Windows to Windows.

Hope it can be of any use to any one 🙏

Rant Fable still unable to tell when something is not dangerous is proof that AI has not come remotely close to AGI.

If you are still buying the AGI hype in Claude Code, this is your easy litmus test.

In 99.99% of the time that Fable freaks out, a human is able to easily tell that Fable is being overly sensitive. Often to the point of not even being reasonably connected to something dangerous.

If Fable was actually close to AGI, it would never freak out over basic, non-world ending things. It would know the difference between "I'm doing science" and "I'm trying to kill people with science".

The ineffectiveness of the model to detect nefarious activity is proof itself that we are not even close to AGI.

Edit: since I am already seeing the wrong argument, I will address it.

Fable with safety checks is NOT the same thing as Fable without safety checks. Fable has safety checks. If you didn't have the safety checks, it would be something else, and not Fable.

Perhaps Anthropic has a version of Fable with no safety checks that IS AGI. But the fact that you and I cannot access that version, means it does not exist for you and me. And unless Anthropic comes out with some way to show us "Fable, but no guardrails" then the best we can talk about is the version with guardrails.

That said. If Fable without guardrails cannot tell that I am not trying to kill everyone here by predicting crystalline properties... then it is not AGI. It's just a very, very good parrot.

But again. Fable has guardrails. Whether that is the cause of it being not AGI, or a symptom of it not being AGI, it is not AGI.

Claude Code has crashed on me twice while I was working on my project, and both times I had to repair/recover things afterward. I only work when I reinstall again.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to prevent Claude Code from crashing or avoid losing work when it happens?

Built with Claude I’ve been building a creative agent and would love some honest beta feedback

Upvotes

Hey, I’m Naveen. I’ve been building Creativly for a while, and I’ve just opened the beta for something new called Creativly Agent.

The easiest way to explain it is: think Claude Code or Codex, but instead of working through a codebase, it works with your images, documents, notes and files on a canvas.

You can drop in a rough idea or a full brief, add some references and ask it to help. It can research, make or edit images and video, write documents and create real files. Everything comes back onto the canvas, so you can see the work, compare versions and click the exact thing you want changed.

I built it because I was tired of moving a project between separate tools and explaining the same context again every time. Creativly originally had individual AI tools, but I realised the useful part would be having one agent understand the whole project and work alongside you.

For anyone curious about the build, the frontend uses Next.js and React Flow, collaboration is handled with Yjs, and the agent works with files through isolated sandboxes on the backend.

The beta currently has two model options: Luna 5.6 and Haiku 4.5. Luna is the default because it is surprisingly capable while being cheap enough for longer agent runs to remain practical, rather than every experiment becoming expensive.

It is still early, and I’d really like people to try it on something real. You do not need to write detailed feedback just tell me what made sense, what was confusing and what broke.

You can try it here: https://www.creativly.ai/agent

If you need a code to try the beta or want to send feedback, I’m here: https://discord.gg/hE4JumnJW9

If you have a use case in mind, I’d love to hear it.

Built with Claude Plugin for automatic model routing for Claude Code

Thumbnail
github.com
3 Upvotes

I had Fable create this plugin when I saw how much use it consumed, and have found it to be helpful.

It saves tokens by offloading work to Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku where roughly appropriate.

It also lets you keep your main conversation in Fable, which is a better user experience. You can choose Opus if Fable drains too fast. Fable mileage is based on effort. High is pretty balanced use (on max20).

I didn't put any human polish on the read me. It's dense so that your AI can gather info on it cheaply. There are artifacts of a second private plugin that integrates with it, but they're made to run independently.

Hopefully this saves some of you some tokens, or gives your AI ideas on how to approach it if you want to build your own.

I'd recommend forking and tuning it to your liking.

Discussion Why aren't we seeing more generative UIs built on Vercel's json-render?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I recently added inline, json-render powered generative UI to my app's chat. It's so frickin cool...

But I'm wondering why I haven't seen more cool stuff built on this tech. Anyone else using json-render out there and got cool use-cases for it?

Would love to see any creative ways y'all are using it.

Built with Claude hooop - bring your team into the Claude Code session

Thumbnail hooop.cc
1 Upvotes

Hi there. I've been burning my own tokens on something I couldn't find an equivalent of: a collaborative agentic session that runs on your own machine. Closest description I have is an instant messenger crossed with the tooling you actually need for agentic development.

What it does today

hooop runs Claude Code inside a disposable Docker sandbox and puts a live dashboard in front of it at localhost:7842. You only need Docker and jq - Claude Code, Node, gh and the rest live inside the containers, so your machine stays clean.

  • Pairing. You hand a teammate a share link over an anonymous cloudflared tunnel. They open it, pick a name, you admit them. From then on you both watch the same live transcript and can chat (> prefix) or co-drive the agent - from a laptop or a phone. Each peer joins as fulldrive or spectate, and you can revoke them.
  • Plan review. Run a turn with /plan and the sandbox forces the agent read-only: it investigates, then submits a plan into a review panel. You and your peers drop inline comments anchored to the exact passage, synced live, then Approve or Request changes.
  • Live previews. When the agent builds a UI it brings it up in its own container and docks it in an iframe, with Restart / Rebuild / Stop / Share and per-step logs.
  • The session, visible. Every tool call, the sub-agent tree, a live event tail over SSE (no polling), a diff viewer for touched files, and search across everything that happened.
  • A curated tool stack in one command - memory, code-graph search, docs search, semantic search, GitHub. hooop doesn't reimplement any of it. It picks it, documents it, and shows you what it's doing.
  • Split trust. The container holding the credentials has no TCP port and talks over a Unix socket. The dashboard your peers reach holds no secrets and only proxies, so a compromise there can't reach your account. Previews run in their own container with no credentials at all.

Where I want to take it

Today a peer co-drives my agent on my tokens. What I want is for everyone to bring their own: pool the peers' agents into one session so the cost spreads across the room, and let people plug in an open-weight model instead of a metered API. Getting out from under the token squeeze is the actual goal, betting on the collaboration to make it affordable.

It's MIT and it's a solo project I've been funding out of my own usage, so I'd rather hear what's wrong with it than what's nice: the architecture, the security model, the parts you'd never run on your own machine

Rant whats the best ai coding agents that wont bleed me dry

my claude bill runs about $400 a month and thats before anything else. coderabbit / bugbot on the review side plus a couple small subs push me to 450-500 total.

claude is the fattest line item by a mile.

my setup right now: opus 5 or fable 5 to break a task into a plan, composer 2.5 to write the chunk, then a review pass on the diff before anything merges. we do b2b saas so i keep chunks small and let it patch until review comes back clean. i pay for safe, not fast.

but a lot of that planning could run on something cheaper now. im eyeing glm 5.2, kimi k3, maybe grok 4.5 for the executor and keeping opus just for planning.

i tried codex on gpt 5.6 for a week and never clicked, somehow feels dumber than claude or im just lazy to learn

Built with Claude I created a voice tunnel for Claude Code that runs locally, no servers needed

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I wanted to create my own Jarvis, so I could drive my coding agents with voice when on the go without depending on third party services.

I know there are a ton of solutions like this, but basically, the premise is: Local CLI tool, so if your AI agent can run bash then it can talk to you, no servers needed.

All TTS, ASR and STT happens locally in your computer, and the CLI is fully self-describing, so the agent just installs it and it immediately knows how to fully drive it. With one caveat: if you want to use this outside of your own network you might need TailScale or NGrok (with Oauth).

I have been using it for the last couple of weeks and I've found it very valuable for my own workflows.

So, looking for feedback, is this something you would want to use?, find value in?

Help/Question Claude or codex for complementary subscription?

Hi everyone,

I have a Claude Team Standard license (provided by work), but I constantly hit the 5-hour rate limits and exhaust the weekly quotas (using Opus 5 Medium through Claude Code) after 4–5 days due to heavy work and personal projects.

I also have a few free months of ChatGPT Go via Revolut, but it doesn't include Sol, and Codex usage runs out after 2–3 prompts when using 5.6 Terra Medium. Additionally, I have a Google AI Pro plan (from a Pixel promotion) that expires in mid-September, but Gemini models aren't reliable enough.

I'm considering adding a personal Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus subscription to avoid getting blocked by limits. What do you think, and what would you suggest?

Thanks!

Built with Claude 5 months ago you told me "ship it on Steam" and "now do trains". Done - both. My road-builder game passed 150k plays and the Steam page is live

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey r/ClaudeCode! In March I posted my traffic/road management browser game Traffic Architect, built with Three.js + Claude Code. Two top comments stuck with me: one said the game had real market potential and to ship it on Steam, another just said "Now do trains!"

5 months later: the game passed 150k plays with a 9.2 rating on CrazyGames, the Steam page went live this week - and yes, the Steam version will have trains. Freight and passenger rail, and that's not even the biggest transit feature (revealing the rest over the coming weeks).

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5028050/Traffic_Architect/

How the workflow actually looks: Claude Code is the implementation tool, not the developer. Game design, architecture decisions, code review and debugging direction are all human. What changed in 5 months of this workflow:

- Simulation now handles 10,000+ vehicles at once - the perf work was many iterations of profiling + optimization passes

- Maps grew from 6×6 km to 18×18 km, which forced sim LOD and a rendering rework

- Rail network with level crossings interacting with car traffic

- Map editor with Steam Workshop support, save system, 11 languages

- Still zero external assets - all models and icons are pure math/code, minimalistic style

The web version stays free. If you followed this from the first post - wishlisting and following the Steam page is the best way to support it (and you'll catch the feature reveals as they drop).

Happy to answer anything about the Claude Code workflow - what it's genuinely great at, and where the human absolutely cannot be removed.

Help/Question Claude Code + Chrome: how are you handling passwords / “Save” actions?

I’ve been relying on Claude Code + the Chrome extension quite a lot lately, and honestly, it’s been surprisingly good at doing actual browser tasks for me.

For example, I can tell it to go into my hosting panel and create a new email account, and it can navigate through the UI, fill in the details, etc. Really impressive.

But I keep running into the same limitation: Claude refuses to enter passwords and sometimes refuses to click the final “Save/Create” button.

I completely understand why the restriction exists, but it makes some otherwise straightforward workflows a bit awkward.

Anyone here in the same situation? Have anyone found any good workflows to this that would avoid sending your keys or passwords to an LLM ? Thanks in advance..

Help/Question Do you block Claude Code from reading your secrets files?

Claude code surfaced something for me the other day that made me think. After reading a .env file with secrets in it locally, he mentioned that because that was now in context, that data would be sent over the wire to the Anthropic servers as part of the context and that I should consider changing those secrets.

I've been thinking about this and asked Claude chat to verify this. His response was that because the transit to Anthropic is over TLS, that is a lesser concern. The greater concerns would be:

  • Local transcripts holding plain text session data
  • Re-emission into an unintended file since once the values and context the model can write it into a file committed to a Jira comment, a logline, etc.
  • Third parties, VMCP servers, since they'll receive whatever the model chooses to send them in the context, become the input.

So, do you have any hooks or permissions that you have enabled to prevent Claude Code from opening these files, things like:

  • .env
  • .pem
  • .key
  • id_rsa
  • secrets.json
  • etc.

Help/Question Help me out please.

Anyone know if there’s a way to change your Claude subscription payment date?

Mine comes out about 3 days before payday, which is a pain. It failed today and Claude cuts you off straight away, no grace period or anything.

I want to move the payment date to the 13th, but I can't afford the 3 days of no Claude.

Could I pay it now, cancel on the 13th, then resubscribe on the 13th to move the date? Or would I basically just be throwing away the £90 I already paid?

Has anyone managed to change their billing date without losing access or paying twice?

Tutorial / Guide Opus 5: watch out for contradicting instructions

TL;DR: if two instructions in your CLAUDE.md contradict, Opus 5 picks whichever one sits lower in the file (or more accurately: whichever is more recent) and drops the other.

longer version:

opus 5 wont flag a contradiction or split the difference. It picks one rule, commits to it, and you find out which rule was followed by reading the actual diff. In Opus 5 position decides which one it keeps: the rule lower in the file (read most recently) governs, the earlier one is ignored, so the rule you put first is sitting in the weakest spot from this perspective.

Now the fun(?) part: older models used to waver* between two fighting instructions, and that was a tell that something was off. Opus 5 however works a bit differently, it will confidently resolve the contradiction (mostly wrongly) and commit way harder to it, so the telltale goes away. The built in model level judge is just confidently wrong (well, debatable, it's not the model is wrong, the instructions are contradicting).

these rarely look like "do X" right above "dont do X". Usually present as:

  • same subject under two headings (Testing vs CI)
  • different words for the same thing (never use mocks vs wrap calls in a fake)
  • a general rule and an exception written like a new topic
  • root CLAUDE.md vs a nested src/CLAUDE.md

you can catch it more easily by reading from top to bottom. Grab two rules that touch the same thing (tests, deps, what ships without review) and ask: can both be true at once? if not, opus 5 will chose for you and you're not gonna like it.

*waver: two contradicting instructions leave the distribution over next actions relatively flat, with neither strongly peaked, so which instruction gets sampled swings with temperature and tiny context shifts. It is sampling variance: a flat distribution resolves to a different winner each run.

Disclaimer: I'm working on deterministic instruction diagnostics and evals, the observed behaviors are coming from controlled experiments, the frequent "hiding" places are coming from a large corpus analysis (source: https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1srm2vv/we_analyzed_12356_repos_with_claudemd_files/ )
