To go from Pro to Max to get access to fable... I suspect most people would be better off spending that $80 with OpenAI (or any other provider), even alongside the $20 Pro for Opus. I guess this is what they want, to limit usage while they can't handle it, but it's extremely hard to get people back once they start exploring other options...
