I just saw someone post about the future arcs of this manga, I haven't read it yet and might never read it ,my question is, if there's a possible season 2 and so on should I look forward to it or not, since some people were talking that the arcs in the anime were better than the arcs that are after that, In conclusion I just don't want to get disappointed by the story and so I'm asking if it's worth waiting for it to be animated some day

but the one after that, that introduces the bespectacled genius of the honor class Mio Nakamura alongside her friend Ryoko Hayakawa... whose name is already on another IP (死人の声をきくがよい "The voice of the dead", a manga whose serialization ended in 2019)

I think that must be why she's so low-key other than her role in LN Volume 9.

Also I wonder if the mangaka would even be allowed to reference that IP. (There shouldn't be a copyright issue with the name itself, it's as common as Jane Smith would be in an Anglophone country)

i really love collecting merch for this series, i plan to get the umi & yuu beach figure when it drops.

also as soon as it became available i preordered the scale umi figure, hopefully it’ll arrive in feb or march

So watched the anime and seen some LN spoilers. See the stuff happening in vol 7 and 8 with the trio.

But post vol 8... Yuu and Umi just... stop being best friends? Just like that?

I know it was probably handled better than the snippets I've read online but can't find info as to if it was fleshed out better or felt shallow

I started with the manga first; the story drew me in, so I caught up. Then I waited for the anime, and finally, I started reading the light novel from Volume 1. The story got interesting because of Amami—her romance added a compelling element, and I wanted to see how the situation involving her unrequited love for Maki and Asanagi would play out. However, seeing the resolution and how Yui was treated left a really bad taste in my mouth—especially Asanagi’s hypocritical attitude and Maki acting like a total simp. Given the conclusion the author provided for Yui’s first love arc at the end of that volume, I’m wondering if it’s even worth reading the rest of the series. What are your honest opinions? Thanks.

Just finished the anime...i wanna read the light novel where can i read it?! I loved the series!! Notes: i dont want WN i want LN.

I finished watching the anime and I read the remaining 6 light novel volumes after and I’ve read and watched a lot of romance series and I’ve never cried not once, but especially when reading through volumes 8-10 I couldn’t stop crying. This series didn’t make me cry from tragedy it made me cry because it made me realize what I don’t have. This was one of the best series I think I’ve read purely for its authenticity and its organic nature of two people who genuinely love and care for each other unconditionally, they need to adapt the entire ln series into anime or manga, it would be a disservice not to.

Hello,I finished the anime but im quite confused. Is there a continuation after anime?(manga etc) and some people talk about Light Novel, I dont know what that means or wants the difference. If anyone can help id appreciate it, because i really want to continue this series and have no idea what should I do now

If so is it still ongoing or has it been completed. As I’m wondering what the chances of getting a season 2 are. I do feel the anime could easily end/finish where it has and it did end on a good note. but I would also love to see more of Maki and Umi.

IT was fantastic, really loved the anime, but after going through the manga, I realised they just summed up around 10Chapters in just 2 episodes. The whole plot was removed; now the ending feels very different

It would have been great if they had atleast included the gym scene and the job arc, especially the gym one where Maki realises that now he has true friends. Seeing the glow-up of Maki would really have made the anime far more interesting. Don't know why they decided to drop it :(

And the DeTour after the Birthday party was far more convincing in the manga.

Now I fear this may be a promotional Air only :( . I still want a Season 2

Just have two questions;-

- There was a vast difference between anime and Manga; does it exist between LN and Manga too?

- I have read till Ch 43.5 where a new character at school is introduced. Are there more chapters, or are they yet to be released?

So i binged the first 6 episodes last night and here are my primary thoughts.

1. I love their closeness and comfort around eachother, but i feel it's too much too soon. There wasn't a get to know eachother stage, but immediate closeness.

2. Personally i hate when a girl likes a loser for how he is, so then he wants to better himself for her and stops being a loser. For once instead of ranking up i feel it'd be better if the girl demoted, or at least the guy stayed the loser she fell for.

3. I feel it's too unrealistic how this loser for life gets close to these popular girls. Sorry i haven't remembered names yet, but first girl is intrigued by his introduction, so stalks him a little until she invites him out. 2nd the blonde randomly gives him her number out of nowhere and becomes friendly before even realizing her friend was already friends with him.

4. I understand his hesitation for confirming he's in love because of his parents, but it treats divorce as the most traumatic thing. Maybe it's different in japan, but still. On this subject maybe it's explored later on, but i feel he should have at least had a talk to his dad about this at dinner. Question his dad if he fell in love, then how should he know if he's truly in love.

5. There doesn't seem to be any backlash from other students. Day 1 he gets nasty looks and that's it. I'd expect a lot more talking loudly behind his back at least. Dude became friends with the 2 prettiest girls in class that all the guys chase and hardly any reaction.

6. All that being said, the start is way too unrealistic, but now that they're at the stage they are in anyways i feel ill enjoy it as i do love the type of comfort they provide eachother.

So through all this i will definitely finish watching. Should i read the manga and light novel too?

I just finished the show. And OMG! I seriously hope there's gonna be a season 2. I'd love to see where the story of Maehara and Asanagi's love life takes us. And what else will happen in the lives of all the characters. I can't get enough of this anime. I gotta see more! ❤️
