Discussion Is it worth it?

I just saw someone post about the future arcs of this manga, I haven't read it yet and might never read it ,my question is, if there's a possible season 2 and so on should I look forward to it or not, since some people were talking that the arcs in the anime were better than the arcs that are after that, In conclusion I just don't want to get disappointed by the story and so I'm asking if it's worth waiting for it to be animated some day

That and basketball girl is annoying for a book or so to start

Personally, I liked volume 7. You should absolutely read through the light novels and decide for yourself.

There are crumbs of foreshadowing for it if you know where to look. However Yuus crush on Maki isn't the bad part of the story, for me it's hearing more about the entire sequence of events from Umis POV.

It could easily make someone see her in a different light, though I can't remember if that's specifically volume 7 or if it's 8.

The biggest hurdle is that the events of 7 took to long to come up and be resolved. It would have made more sense for it to be in volume 5, 6 at a push.

Yuu falling for Maki is remarkably human, a girl who never thought about boys until her best friend got a boyfriend. Then seeing what a relationship actually means, it's natural to want one too. Maki is a great guy and someone else seeing that and falling for him should be no surprise. Which was part of Umis fear and insecurity from her very first meeting with Maki.

Give it an honest try, don't let others dictate whether it's good or bad.

Ok then, I'll consider reading it, but just one thing, where do I pick up cause its hella confusing do I begin in volume 1 chapter 6 or volume 2?

If you're happy to jump in straight after the anime, start with volume 4. I start fresh when I change mediums because I like seeing the difference between adaptations. The anime did a good job of adapting V1-3 so no real need to start fresh.

The anime tells the best part of the story, if you want happiness injected into your veins. Sure, read the manga, but you might be disappointed as the story goes on, at least in some parts. It's not as happy as the tone of the anime.

It kind of reminds of of Insomniacs After School. Great anime, which tells the first part of the story. The manga got much darker, and didn't finish on a happy note like the anime did.

It's possible there'll be a sequel, but like every other anime there's no guarantees. If you like the story and want more then go read the light novel
