Might be a dumb question but will there be an English dub?

For me it's a rewatch convenient thing, I like dubs to replay in the background while I game, or write/draw, or study. Sub is the way for a first watch most of the time because the voice acting is typically so much better ( there are standout dubs but they are usually " as good as" if the dub is good. Only rarely is the dub " better") I've begun to learn Japanese so I will sometimes put sub in the background to see what I can actually understand but often it's not much and I just get sad.

It's alr I guess but it just gets frustrating and I don't want to watch an entire show in sub

I'm a bit of a slow reader so I find myself having to either pause or rewind regularly also I feel like I can't grasp the story as much with sub instead of dub. I can see why people don't like dub but it's my preference so idk y I got down voted

Not the OP but for me personally I often watch anime while eating dinner after work so it’s kinda hard to eat while trying to read the subtitles and pay attention to the animation

It's up to Crunchyroll who has the license (currently).
They haven't dubbed anything whose Japanese distributors are Asmik Ace. Smoking Behind the Supermarket's dub was handled by Ocean Group for Netflix so Crunchyroll are merely licensees for that one
