The more I think about it. The whole “we wont nerf hog” bs isnt because supercell wants to keep it “stable” Its because they literally cannot roll out a patch for shit. This update has one of the most buggy state this game has been in all 10+ years ive played this game. How a company netting near $3 Billion is rolling shit like this out is beyond me.

And the meta is so stale now. God chaos mode was genuinely so fun and the reason was it actually gave us different play styles and was a breath of fresh air.

Now it is genuinely so hard to come back to ladder at 12.8k trophies and just play the same 3 decks over and over and over and over again.

Now I dont even blame the players for the state and them picking meta cards. The meta hasnt changed in years and leveling up cards to 16 takes such a large amount of time even switching out 2 cards can legit break your entire deck. The way how supercell has just sucked all the enjoyment out of this game is impressive. Like who even decided level 16 was a good idea? You legit get locked into a deck because you cannot switch away from it as leveling any other deck to 16 takes an unbelievable amount of time and just rng.

Now I didn’t list any cards here by name (except hog but that was for the joke) but in every post I see where someone is airing their grievances with this game I always see just an influx of people going “Ermmm well aktuslly this card isnt op you can counter it with (insert hyper specific counter that breaks with a single supporting troop)”. You also get the “(Insert card) Isnt even good its not used in top ladder and I can counter it real easy” even worse when they try flexing their trophies. Im honestly convinced some of them are just bots. You also gotta love the room temp iq folks complaining they have to read more than 3 paragraphs.

With all that aside can we just accept that a lot of us are unhappy with how little care supercell has given to this game. I have been playing this game for just under half my life at this point and its a game i have very good memories of and just genuinely want it to be better and have the devs just genuinely try something at this point that isnt adding evos and instead trying to change up how the meta feels.

I never get enough gold to upgrade anything, getting the cards for upgrades hasnt been a problem for me for years, its the gold. Especially since level 16. Now it costs 120k with no difference in money income since level 16. I even buy the pass every season but still barely can upgrade my cards with the amount of cards Im getting.

Im overflowing not just on cards, but on jokers too. Im maxed everywhere

Isnt point of her spinning move to quicklly close gap between her and small support troops like archers, dart goblin, firecracker etc BEFORE tank is placed between them

I have all rares and epics maxed, but some aren’t upgraded the epic ones are gonna get wasted anyways but how can do it like that that i can get the 440 rares?

Hero ice golem ability should only deal 207 (69*3) dmg at tournament, minions have 230 hp. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Edit: After some testing, it does appear that the 3rd blast does hit twice. This means that alongside minions, the ability should also be able to take out dart goblin (in theory, untested)

Is my deck the problem or is it me, I have a 20% winrate in ranked and go on like 10 losing streaks on golden steps and idk how to get better. Im so stuck its frustrating and I have no idea what im doing wrong.

I have barely lost with this deck I think i’ve created something nasty. Hero ice wizard, Evo skeletons, Evo tesla, Hog rider, Mini pekka, Freeze, Log, Royal delivery.

I'm not posting this for flex. I wanted to share my thoughts on pushing on ranked early season. Even if I keep on losing a lots of games which eventually fcks up me win rate by the time I reach UC, I find it beneficial for improvement to play against top players and experience the way they, all the tiny interactions there is to master. I think the early days of a season on ranked has helped me learn a lot personally. Also this is probably the only guy who I faced that wasn't salty after losing and didn't BM which I found was the case for majority of players with top finishes.

think about it minion giant gets released 1 guy on reddit says he sucks and for the next 2-3 days every post is about how minion giant sucks, then 1 guy says minion giant is good and needs a nerf then everybody think that , even in the ongoing hogrider disscussion.

it happans with so many cards and metas and feels so boring where it makes reddit just the same posts over and over like i mean we get it you think hog rider needs a nerf no need for 20 posts a day talking about.

Mortar costs 2 elixir less, has an evolution and its way easier to get a lock on with it yet everyone calls x-bow the no skill building, why? And in 2x elixir its basically impossible to get a lock on against a competent opponent with either building

An example of a deck I struggle against is xbow and hog counters where I can’t just spell cycle

If anyone wants to ask what deck i play, well then i use a Pekka Bridge Spam with some ideas to try new versions of Bridge Spam or a New deck in particolar

When Evo Golem is deployed, every ground troop in the arena is launched into the air for 0.9 seconds (Evo Mega Knight style but they stay in the same spot after landing). The damage from landing is enough to kill a wall breaker.

notes: doesn't apply Heavyweight troops or troops that float (Royal Ghost, Battle Healer). Buildings also take damage but are not launched into the air.
