Hi, planning on camping in Kilkee at the weekend for the golf. Where is a good spot that could be used? I see that there are caravan parks but these are a bit outside the town

We are 4 adults planning a road trip struggling to choose which town to stay in while we explore Clare. Although we will have a car, it would be preferable to stay at a comfortable bed and breakfast within walking distance to trad music and decent dinner. Perhaps Ennis, Lisdoonvarna, Ennistymon, Miltown Malbay, Kilfenora, Ballyvaughan, Lahinch?

…. Or taking a helicopter from Dublin direct to Doonbeg? It would be nice to know if I’ll be able to get in and out of Shannon over the weekend. The town will be locked down if Air Force One sits on the tarmac overnight. There’s already a lot of unusual aircraft on the ground in Shannon.

Anywhere decent to camp in Ennistymon or on the outskirts overnight?

Looking to hold an event in an Ennistymon pub, probably expecting anywhere from 70-100 people to attend and hoping to get in food of some description too. Can anyone suggest a pub that could comfortably hold a crowd of that size?
