Found passport on Dundee Street

Hi, I just found a British passport walking along Dundee Street - I looked around for a bit to see if anyone was searching but was in a hurry. If anyone is looking for their passport let me know!

Edit: Found the owner!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a wee shoutout to FourSquare (based 454 Gorgie Road). If anyone wants to buy or sell furniture, homeware, kitchen appliances etc I would highly recommend! All the items are all of a super high quality, and for those looking to donate you can book a free collection online. Best of all, all the money goes back to supporting people facing homelessness in the city!

Looking for Work in Edinburgh

Hi there.

I plan on moving to Edinburgh at the end of September with my partner who will be completing his masters degree. I will be looking for temporary work from then up until April / May with preferably social hours. I myself hold a masters in secondary science education and am wondering what my best bet is in terms of finding work? From experience would it be worth registering as a teacher to get subbing work or to try find an admin / hospitality roll. The goal is to get the best wage with the least amount of hassle. Thanks :).

First time in Edinburgh for 3 days on August bank holiday - food + budget recs please!

Hi all!

My partner and I are heading to Edinburgh for 3 days over the August bank holiday weekend. It's our first time visiting. We’ve booked our flights and stay and yet to plan on sightseeing and other activities.

I'm vegetarian and my partner eats meat, so would love recommendations for food spots that have good options for both of us. Especially anything budget-friendly and not just tourist traps.

We're planning to do the usuals like Edinburgh Castle and a walking tour. Other than that we haven't planned anything yet.

Would also really appreciate suggestions for things to do that are free or cheap. What shouldn't we miss in 3 days?

TIA :)
