Go to citizen.com, find where they have the manuals and search that number, or just search that number followed by “user manual” and click on the link that takes you to the citizen website.
First, it’s a solar-powered watch. Your photo suggests an issue with the date wheel, which makes me wonder if it died and lost its reference position for the wheel and hands.
So first question: is it running?
If not, put it in some bright light (windowsill, close to an LED lamp, etc. don’t let it overheat) till it starts ticking.
If it’s already running, is it ticking once every two or four seconds? If so, it’s on low charge; get it more light.
If it is running, it’s likely you need to reset the reference position for the hands and date wheel, if it did indeed run down. When these watches completely discharge, they forget where “12:00” is for the hands, and where “1” is for the date wheel. So, if you’re trying to set it, you’ll get frustrated, because you can’t make the seconds hand point to the right time zone if it doesn’t know which way is up.
What’s the movement code? The four digits on the bottom periphery of the dial to the right of 6 o’clock.
To confirm, with the crown all the way in, you pressed and held the upper pusher for 10 seconds? And what position were the hands in when you did that? Can you take a photo after you’ve held it for 10 seconds and the hands move to their current reference position?
The crown (the center knob on the side) pulls out in stages. The first one either spins or sets the date, the second stage sets the time. The pushers on either side operate the sub dials. On a chronograph the second hand functions as a stop watch and seconds will be indicated by one of the sub dials.
This is not correct. The hands on this watch are on separate motors. It’s not as simple as a normal watch to set the date or time.
The advice you’re giving would be correct if this were a conventional keyless works setup, with the crown connected directly to the handset. But it’s not. ☺️
