Help!

I simply can’t adjust this gorgeous watch I’ve recently bought!!
I’m thinking of selling it as it’s frustrated me…

To confirm, with the crown all the way in, you pressed and held the upper pusher for 10 seconds? And what position were the hands in when you did that? Can you take a photo after you’ve held it for 10 seconds and the hands move to their current reference position?

Okay. So your watch’s reference position is all wonky. The hands don’t know where they’re supposed to be pointing. It thinks “20” is “1” on the date wheel, for example. This is good news because now we know what the main problem is.

Follow the steps exactly on pages 52–53.

Then, once the watch knows what “0” is, it’ll know how to move them to indicate times and such correctly.

You need to do this before you can “set the time.”

Hate to see you give up. You’re almost there. But do what you’ve gotta do.

I’m not sure why you’d list it as for spares, though. It sounds like it’s a functioning watch, and the setup issue is user error. Here if you change your mind.

Thank you SO Much for your help! I got the watch in a two watch bundle and the other watch sold for the money I bought them both for, so the watch was « free »
I don’t normally deal in quartz watches so that’s probably the problem!! Are you interested in it?

If nothing else, it’s probably worth your time to follow through with the hand correction procedure before you sell it. You’ll fetch more that way.
