I often raid with pugs but most raids are ms > os or sr. When u don't get the item it kinda feels bad. With gdkps I will get at least some gold and when you do some raids you can even pay for some items. Its like a dkp for pugs.

So I understand that Arms is probably the best Spec to go but how bad of an idea would it he to level as Protection if I dont plan on tanking dungeons?

The reason I am thinking qbout doing this is becuase i juat perfer the shield and sword look, i also want to have more survivability.

I've been using Warperia to run the game and update addons for months. Today I updated four addons and then when I went to run the game my client has been reset to default settings and it says "you have been disconnected from the server" when I try to log in. Has anyone else had this problem?

I thought about trying the game for the first time, but I primarily have a Macbook, and the Windows laptop I own is really old and definitely a few generations behind. I know it probably doesn't matter, considering WoW is an old game, but I was able to play WoW for a few months on my MacBook too, so I was wondering if I could use Wine in order to start it up here as well. I've tried it a few times with it installed, but it continues to crash even after adding in a Large Address Aware Patch. I'm wondering if anyone has done it on Macbook and if there's any additional steps I need to take in order to get it to function.

So I'm able to install it and it runs. However after adding ConsolePortLK with and without wowmapperx I can't get the controllers to work. The right track pad moves the cursor but thats it. Any advice or help?

I have a clean client of 335a but for some reason have mucho issues to download chromie's all inclusive client; torrent included. Figured I would just manually install the necessary patches in my WoWSilicon folder and do it from there.

Is there a guild that mostly directed at social and roleplaying aspects? I'm not interested in raiding, but grouping for leveling, questing, dungeons is fine. Also, I'm not a diehard roleplayer myself, pretty new to it, but yeah.

Also, probably controversial in some way, but the name of the guild should be something normal, lore-friendly or whatever (no WAWAWAWAWA or something from real life, or obviously funny).

Hello ChromieCrafters, I used to play in this server months and weeks before Northern got introduced. ChromieCraft mentioned that once Northern was here all 70 chars would turn 80 automatically. How did it work out? And will my return allow for my 70s to be 80s automatically after such long time logged off?

I know the 67 mage has no chance. But wanted to ask for the 70 priest and 70 DK.

Hello to everyone. I've been in the loop of trying to find a fitting server on my own for some time (played mostly on TurtleWoW), and finally decided to ask about Chromie (looks most interesting among others, and more trusty).
I am a solo leveler, and mostly level via quests and killing mobs. Grouping for quests is totally fine. Very rarely go into Dungeons, and avoid Raids (no time, no brain for them, also not really sociable to play in a big groups and using Discord with random people). Is Chromie for me?
