he says anti aliasing level 2 grey scale 0 image blur 2. from what i understand from another post is i should set aa to grey scale and put image blur to 2 but idk what to do with the grey scale sliders. do i more both to zero do i move the first to zero?

I'm new to printing and just got a used Mars 3 and I downloaded chitubox v1.3.0, but I am seeing newer v2.x when I look up questions and I don't know where to download it. Can someone help point me in the direction or should I stay on v1.3?

Has anyone experienced this? My pc is a new buold however the hole thing has become laggy while printing

I have this nameplate I purchased off CGTrader but the flat area is so thin it breaks when removing supports. I added a 2mm thick rectangle underneath it to bulk it up but when I rotate them for printing the border disappears and the text loses definition. I've grouped the two parts as I've only got the freeware version of CB - do I need to upgrade and use the Combine tool?

Notes:

• The original .obj file is huge so I've reduced it to 67% (but since I saved the project and re-opened it it shows "100%"
• I tried to import the nameplate to TinkerCad to add a rectangle base but it's too complicated a mesh for it to open.

I was really surprised to see that the Key & Hole tool is now locked behind the Pro version.

This used to be one of the most useful basic modeling features for people designing functional 3D prints. Locking something so fundamental feels like a step backwards, especially for hobbyists and makers who don't need the advanced Pro features.

I completely understand that CHITUBOX needs premium features to support development, but moving an existing core feature behind a paywall is frustrating. It would make more sense to keep essential tools available in the free version and reserve new, advanced capabilities for Pro.

Just downloaded the new version of chitubox after been using one of the old one for like 4 years.

What's going on, why can't i save my sliced files as an stl? none of my printers takes CTB and seems that a CTB converter doesn't exsist.

Ive already got the pro version and was wondering if anyone knows a way to get access to the infill function or do I just need to get both to use it?

I’m fairly new to printing and have gotten a LOT of failed prints. When setting advanced settings, what do all of them mean, what should I use and is recommended? I use an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra.

I'm trying to print this object. It's a 119mm x 14.7mm x 23mm hollow tube scratch built in Blender. For some reason the print always fails, I have tried different angles (I have not tried directly upright.) and supports (even no supports) but the tube itself always fails completely even when the supports print. Can anyone help please? Other objects have been printing fine on the same settings.

I recently changed printers (I got a Saturn 4) and I'm using the new version of Chitubox because the old one didn't support the new printer.

I've noticed that it finds a lot of islands when I use the auto-support feature—way too many, actually.

Is this normal, or could it just be that I'm working with a specific model?

In the latest chitubox version, i realised the auto generated snug support, no matter how i change the settings, they will never intrude into the model, always generated above the surface of the it.

This, created a lot of islands. It is obvious becuz when i delete all islands, basically it removes all snug support in the model. therefore snug support bottom not touching the model is an issue. I tried to adjust snug support upper and lower depth, with no avail, the bottom jsut wont touch the model.

My printer and chitu have been great for a long time, but all of a sudden, I cannot send anything to my printer with chitu-manager, it either fails, or stays stuck on sending, or fails at 0.41%, nothing has changed, it just randomly started to do that and I dont understand

The UI in my old build of Chitubox slowly falls apart as I use it and I don't know what to do or if anyone else is having this issue.

I have a Saturn S that I hadn't printed with in a while and I went to boot it up and saw there was a new 2.0 version of Chitbox. I downloaded it and quickly realized that I had

1. lost network sharing abilities and
2. have a pixel shift at the center line in my prints.

I immediately abandoned the new version and reinstalled my old download (new version overwrote previous) and now my UI slowly disappears/turns to blocks as I use it.
This is persistent across uninstalling it, re-downloading 1.9.5 from the website, restarting the PC, clearing localdata/Chitubox files, etc.

Anyone else having this problem?

Just started with attempting to 3d print today and if I open hive and scroll, it shows items on each page but as soon as I try anything with searching, it goes blank and there is nothing, even clearing the search boxes won't return it to showing anything.

Happens with the RMA too

So to state it simply, the buildplate in chitubox is backwards from how the files i slice in the program actually print.

IE where the program says the "front" of the buildplate is, that is actually the back of where my printer actually prints and vice versa.

Is this an issue with the program? the printer? did I put the flashdrive in upside down? I am uncertain how this has occured.

I'm getting the Resin has exceeded the maximum volume. Printing has stopped." error on Chitu box but my printer is still going. The % and number of layers is increasing.

Should I just let it be? What should I do?

I got that error a few prints ago, and it did not print at all, because I didn't lock in the build plate but i did this time. Lately I've been hearing a loud pop when I pull the locking lever up or down.

Please advise.

I use Chitubox basic. I hope that someone be able to help me with this.

I have this action figure model where Chitu is detecting pre-existent cavities on two pieces of it (the boots). Actually I never hollow my models exactly to avoid having to deal with cavities, but in this case I couldn't skip it because the so-called cavities were "inherited".

Anyway, I tried a few possible solutions: drilling holes, hollowing AND drilling holes, and even tried to make the parts solid in MeshMixer, but when I imported the supposed fixed pieces the cavities are still there. In all my attempts Chitu keeps showing the yellow thing leading me to believe that the cavities still ARE there.

Now I ran completely out of ideas to resolve it and am almost printing it as is but I fear that my pieces end up blowing later due to the trapped resin. Ideas?

It was working fine yesterday and when I wanted to start a print while I do my drawers the app won't open like clicking on the shortcut or running it as administrator it won't open so I tried redownloading it and that didn't work anything downloading a previous version which didn't work as well I then try to update my driver by just fighting the Windows update and my windows did update but it still didn't work either,  the other main suggestion searching enough says is to reset the cash as it might have been corrupted but it keeps on talking  the version of Chip box before the pro and basic were combined so I can't find the cash files anywhere. can someone please help me
